This space is ideal for a sprinter van or a small RV. The neighborhood is low traffic for walking with fantastic Salish sea views, and a beach. Redondo boardwalk, aquarium, and beach is a short drive away for easy water access. A Starbucks, Grocery Store, Laundromat, and gym are a 1 mile, quick bike ride or drive away. The Pacific Bonsai Museum is 6 miles away, and a free experience that most visitors find surprisingly interesting. Sea-Tac Airport is 23 minutes away without traffic. I strive to live and promote a peaceful and inclusive space. Good Karma and good vibes are welcome. I work as a metal artist out of my garage studio. Welding is not noisy but, grinding and cutting can be. Visit Vashon Island and relax on a private estate property. Camp overlooking Puget Sound, walk the trail down to the secluded beach and enjoy 1000 ft. of peaceful waterfront. Outdoor fires are by permission only. There are sometime burn bans for air quality and/or high fire danger. Fires may be allowed AT THE BEACH, below the high tide line, between October 1 and June 15, but there are various reasons they may not be allowed (air quality bans, windy conditions, etc.)Any fire you light must be put out COLD (no steam, no heat) with water and buried with sand before leaving them unattended. You are responsible for any damage or injuries caused by a fire you start, so please be careful! Please note: It is very important that the number of people on site is accurate. Please contact Hipcamp to change the number of people - there currently is no way to do that on the site?! There is an additional charge per person above the base 2 person rate. I would like to thank our many campers who came down from Canada and around the world to visit our small tract of tranquility. We are a one hundred year old family owned farm with an organic garden, Permaculture garden, an apiary, and Christmas trees on six acres. We have horseshoes, tether ball, a small library and disc golf. Early spring the frogs go crazy later followed by the sounds of nesting birds. Fall is the season for migrating birds that rest at the ponds next door. August is the time to fill up on blackberries. There are individual campsites with a barbecue and picnic table and a shared fire pit. The fire pit didn't see much use last two years because of the fire danger so we have moved it to an open area that will be safer and hopefully be open longer, there is also an area at each campsite if you want to bring a propane fire ring (or we will have some for rent). I want to thank past campers for their suggestions, they have been tremendously valuable. We are becoming increasingly suburban and there is some road noise that can be heard and even with farms on three sides of us, you still might hear our neighbors in the distance. Campsites one and four are across the road from each other and campsites two and three are adjacent to each other, perfect if you have another family traveling with you. The Washington State Fair is 3.9 miles/ 13 minutes away, Tacoma Dome 7.5 miles/ 18 minutes, Point Defiance Park Zoo and Aquarium 19 miles/ 30 minutes and Wild Waves water park is 15 miles/ 26 minutes away. Eagles, hawks and Ospreys are frequent visitors to our property.

We are located on a greenbelt off a dead end street. Enjoy the view of the city lights right outside your van or say hi to our two friendly goats. You might spot our resident coyotes or friendly bunnies during your stay. 10 minutes from the city but feels like you are out in your own private forest! Hose hook up and standard power outlet (15amp) available during your stay. Plus hot tub on site! Only a 10-15 minute uber/taxi to downtown or 5 minutes to nearby restaurants/bars. Not the most walkable but just a short car ride from most things! (Downtown, Alki Beach, Georgetown, Airport) We live in an urban setting so you may encounter noise from nearby vehicles, airplanes, fire trucks, etc. This site can only accommodate camper vans or class c motor homes no larger than 25ft. Driver will need to backdown our long driveway to park in the designated site on the side of our house. Please no more than three people and one vehicle. We may be able to make accommodations based on your situation but please message us first! We can only accommodate towable rvs no larger than 20ft in total length including trailer tongue. You must be able to backdown long driveway and park tow vehicle on street. Campfires are welcome in the designated fire pit at the bottom of our hill. Please note there are quite a few steep steps to get there. Please request using this area in advance. Option to purchase farm fresh eggs from our neighbors chickens. Patrick’s spot was the perfect set up for us while visiting Seattle. We had originally planned one night but extended to 2 just so we could have more time there. If you need a convenient spot to park your RV (ours was 23ft) like we did then I would definitely recommend this site as it was super easy to find and use as a base in Seattle.

We really enjoyed our time at Witt's End. Jake and his wife put a lot of thought and care into the space they created. It was also fun to watch the salmon coming upstream to spawn. Communication with Tyler was quick. He answered my questions promptly. Easy back in. Good map. Easy to find. Pretty property. Dahlias and zinnias were beautiful. Chickens and goats were fun to watch. The site was perfect. Covered with timed Edison lights. Good water pressure. 50 Amp electric. The closest dump station is kanaskat-palmer state park. You can purchase fire wood and eggs. It is close to the skeet shooting range, but the noise was not disruptive. Only heard it briefly. Lots of evidence of elk or deer, but didn't see any.

In the big city of Seattle I doubt there are many ‘driveway camp spots’ like Patrick’s! We love staying there because it’s so close to downtown, stadiums, museums, restaurants, parks, etc. It’s not fancy but it’s fairly quiet (a few airplanes overhead and a little road noise), level for RVs, easy to connect to 30 amp power, and is next to a lovely perennial garden that has a small private sitting area in it, The camp spots is at the end of a dead end road so there’s little traffic and behind the garden is a wild undeveloped area that buffers much of the city noise.

This was one of the best places we have stayed (25 ft Motor-home) with a gorgeous view, super quiet and a fairly empty beach to walk down to where the dog could run free. Will be back since this is a great place to play and Vashon is fun to walk around and get some goodies. On the way , Point Defiance is a great park to check out too.

Weekend Trip to Green Apple Alpacas

This was a neat spot. Very cool to see all the animals and the hosts were very kind. Hook ups were reliable and ground in this specific site was level enough to only need one small block on one back tire. Note for anyone visiting, this is a working farm, and when there is not camping in the pasture it’s used for animals. Poop was everywhere, like every 10 (or less) steps there would be poop. It’s alpaca and goat so it’s not wet or gross, but you’ll want to bring some boots if you plan to walk around the field much - definitely not a place for bare feet. Would stay again, and keep this in mind for the future.
