This is a gorgeous park-like RV campground situated between the trees of the arboretum. NO TENTS, please. Also we have NO PUBLIC RESTROOMS. Beautiful view of the mountains and forests here in western Washington. We are close to Mt. St. Helens and Mt. Rainier and several lakes. There are walking trails all around the site. The 12 acre campground is located on a 136 acre property that is an active Christmas tree farm. Trails continue throughout the tree farm. Many trails have a view of the Tilton River, which can be reached via a challenging 3/4 mile trail. Sites are on 12 acres planted with many different species of trees that are about 30 years old. Giant Redwoods, Cedars, and Maples are just a few of the varieties present. Part of the farm is still a working Christmas tree farm. The trails are wide and grassy. The old logging road that we use as a trail to the river has an elevation change of about 500 feet, the trail can be quite challenging. Bear Creek empties into the Tilton river at the end of the trail. There is an ART GALLERY where you can see the host's artwork and purchase a piece if you wish. Originals and prints are both available. This is upstairs through the check-in entry area lobby. Tilton River Studio Gallery. Three sites have electrical hookups. Every site has a water spigot (use a pressure regulator if you want to hook up). No restrooms or sewer hookups. Garbage disposal site (dumpster) available Memorial Day to Labor Day. Mt Rainier is 32 minutes away while Mount St. Helens is 2 hours away. Alder Lake is about 20 minutes away as well as several other lakes are within an hour. There are many hiking trails in the surrounding area.

We fell in love with this house and land when we purchased it in 2009 with the intention of starting an alpaca ranch. We worked for several years to improve the land, pulling acres and acres of Scotch Broom. We now are home to La Vida Alpaca, a herd of about 40 alpacas, and Tahoma Vista Fiber Mill, a custom artisan mill. Meet the alpacas, tour the mill and shop in our farm boutique during your stay. You can also take a fiber arts class while you're here. We can customize one for you. We have great views of Mt. Rainier from many sites on our property. We have a mix of wooded and prairie areas, and cute and friendly alpacas grazing nearby. Note: Site #4 is only available for tent camping. Please book Sites 1-3 if you are have a trailer or RV. Our sites offer potable water, trash disposal, wifi, picnic tables, a toilet, a place for campfires (outside of burn bans)! Guests love staying with us: "What a fun and unique trip for our family! Jean and David are such a hardworking and nice couple. We had a great time learning about alpacas. We did the tour and it was really interesting to learn about how the yarn and felt is made. The little shop is cute too and of course we had to grab some souvenirs :) Their dog Snowflake is such a sweetheart and was so kind to our 4.5 year old and rambunctious 2 year old. So neat to have the alpacas roaming around the property. Lots of open spaces for our children to run around on. Definitely recommend!"

We made this last-minute reservation to escape the wildfire smoke, and we’re so glad we did! The location was perfect for sightseeing in the area, and we even took the ferry over to Seattle. This Hipcamp was perfect for our three-night stay. Our site was level, there was a nice grassy area between the sites and a table with two chairs, and having full hookups was a huge plus. We had plenty of room to back in our 36-foot Class A motorhome and still park our Jeep next to it. The owners were friendly, helpful, and available whenever we had a question. The entire property was very clean, peaceful, and quiet. One of our favorite things was watching the deer that came to visit every day! We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again if we’re ever back in the area. Highly recommend, especially for fellow RV travelers!

Barb & Terry were such lovely hosts! Barb greeted us at check-in, and we got to see (and purchase!) her beautiful art. We also were able to purchase some of Terry’s honey. The property was perfect - so lush and so private. We walked to the swimming hole for a quick dip before settling into our nook. It was so quiet and peaceful. We are already excited to go back!

Four Fathers RV Park was great, check-in was very simple. The facility is clean and well maintained. I really liked the privacy fence completely surrounding the park, it gave a very secure felling. The park is well located for visiting Mt. Rainier National Park.

This was a wonderful spot! The grounds were impeccable, with a good view, plenty of space in each spot, and very well kept hookups. The location was so convenient being in walking distance to several breweries and restaurants. On top of it, the location is right outside Mt Rainer National Park, providing easy and quick access to the park. I will definitely go back, and try to bring more friends to also stay in some of the cabins on site. Jeremy was super responsive and friendly. An overall excellent experience!!

Everything was clean and beautiful and well maintained. The signage was great and easy to read and find your spot. Being surrounded by thousands of Christmas trees and summer is pretty cool. Hosts we're communicative and really nice.

Probably one of the best camping sites you could have anywhere: spacious, good privacy (all to yourself), level ground, full hookup, very close to national park entrance. My friend who has camped 5-6 years said this is the best private camp site she has been to so far.

We had a wonderful stay here for our trip to Mt. Rainier! The location was great, and having the whole lot to ourselves by booking the A-frame next door made the setup even better. Jayson was exceptionally accommodating, quick to communicate, and answered all of our questions right away. The only minor issue was that the porta potty definitely needed to be cleaned, but otherwise, it was a great stay and would definitely recommend it!

We enjoyed our stay at peaceful Olympic peninsula rv camp. We were greeted by the host, who was very friendly, and welcoming. The spot we reserved was quaint and had full hookups, and a grassy area with a picnic table. We loved the wild life. There were rabbits, squirrels and deer. We definitely would stay here again.

Blue site has plenty of room for large trailers.

This was our second time staying at the Blue Site at The Arboretum at Bear Canyon West, and it was every bit as enjoyable as our first visit. The grounds are beautifully maintained, the scenery is absolutely stunning, and the peaceful atmosphere makes it easy to relax and enjoy the outdoors. The hosts were fantastic as always—friendly, welcoming, and clearly dedicated to providing a great experience for their guests. It's obvious they take pride in the property, and it shows throughout the campground. Our family had another wonderful camping trip, and this location is quickly becoming one of our favorite camping destinations. We look forward to coming back again and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, beautiful place to camp.

Having a dedicated fresh water fill-up at every single site is a rare luxury for boondocking. Between the stunning hillside scenery and a wide-open field perfect for frisbee golf, wiffle ball, and lawn games, this spot offers the ultimate relaxing getaway. The campsite was level :) and beautiful! Our stay was very peaceful. The trails to the river were fun to walk & the river was really nice - running in some areas and dry in others. Mt Rainier hid behind the clouds our first day and early the next morning but popped out with a stunning view before we left :) We are looking forward to our next stay here :)

This was an amazing stay at this Hipcamp! Cindy and Bob were wonderful hosts—welcoming, personable, and friendly throughout our visit. Their beautiful property is well-maintained and provides a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. Access to the property was easy, and there was plenty of room to maneuver and park my 35-foot fifth wheel. My campsite was quaint, well-groomed, and offered the perfect balance of comfort and privacy. One of the highlights of our stay was being greeted each morning and evening by a resident deer and her fawns. A tip for future guests: bring a few fresh apples to share. If you keep pets quiet and remain calm and non-threatening, the deer may wander right up to your site. We enjoyed watching them while tossing out a few cut-up apple slices. I highly recommend this location, whether you're looking for a convenient home base to explore the area or simply seeking a quiet escape to relax and unwind. Dre

Sites are well spaced. Campground is clean. We chose Four Fathers based on location for activities at Mt. Rainier. Location is excellent. Locked gate was a plus. Communication was easy.

We had a fantastic stay! Finding the property was simple with clear, easy-to-follow instructions. We had three trailers in our group and navigating in was surprisingly smooth and easy. The area itself was very peaceful, and having direct, easy access to both the park and the river made it a perfect spot.
