The separate, but luxurious, bath house has a full sized shower, sink, and fully plumbed flushing toilet. There is even a small stacked washer and dryer available. Laundry soap available for purchase. Name brand (no dollar store stuff here) shampoo, conditioner and body wash provided. A cozy heater keeps the tiny house warm on cool days, but there is no air conditioning. The shady woods stay nice and cool, and there are lots of screened windows to let in the breeze. We are open year round and It is different every season Our guests love staying here "This site has absolutely everything you need. You'll want to bring your own shampoo and conditioner, but I think that was the only things I noticed I'd want. They even had firewood for us, no extra charge! David, his wife, and everyone else that helps maintain the property were SO sweet and welcoming. Seems like it would be a lovely place to stay in the winter, so thats when I'd like to come back! 5 stars all the way for everything here, the thoughtfulness of the cabins, the cleanliness, the readily available kitchen and the hospitality. Lovely spot to relax and home base around the Kitsap Peninsula. The Jackery power unit was ample providing energy for light, making coffee with the provided electric kettle, and also device charging. The porch setup was great for morning, afternoon and evening relaxation. We brought our camp stove, and cook pans, with a stand, and it fit nicely for use in the porch area. Appreciated the large fresh water jug Jonathan and Kai provided. The bed was comfy. The daytime warmth was held well by the cottage, so it was comfortable all night, and in the morning- even though it cooled down quite a bit outside in the nights we were there. The numerous battery operated small lamps were functional illuminantion and provided nice ambiance.

It's comfortable, clean,.and better stocked than expected with microwave, toaster, etc. and several blankets. We enjoyed the dock and tried out the kayaks. I was glad to have brought life jackets and a long cable leash which helped us positition the kayaks on the water and also kept the youth kayak connected to mine. A camping shower came in handy for rinsing after. The place felt private enough but it did get pretty noisy down the lake with sounds of a late-rising rooster, lots of cheering, laughing, loud music and some questionable singing 😄

2 nights at Secluded Forest Yurt

We had a wonderful stay! Everything was very clean, comfortable, and accommodating, and it was clear that care was taken to make the space welcoming for guests. The directions were easy to follow, and we had no trouble finding everything we needed.

1 night at Laughing Leaf Cottage

I never knew I needed peacocks before now. 😂 It was so peaceful. I loved sitting on the little hidden back deck among the trees and ferns. Just what we needed. 💕

Weekend Trip to Bywater Yurt

The yurt is fabulous. Quite private. Yes, Megan’s house is a few feet away but it faces away from the yurt. There are other houses beyond hers but you can’t see them until you walk out into the field. It was very quiet, just birds talking to each other. It’s centrally located so it’s a short drive to any part of the island you want to explore. And Megan is good people.

Weekend Trip to Forest Farm Camping & Coffee

Two cots in each a frame, bring your sleeping bag and comfy bedding if you’re a side sleeper. there was a simple sink behind the right cabin which is helpful to wash up. Lodged for a night after the bioluminescence kayak tour at port gamble. Could hear coyotes at night and chickens in the morning.
