Welcome to RRF! We are a small ranchette that specializes in sheep, horses, and chickens. Located in Victoria Virginia, the farm is an hour to Richmond, 45 minutes to Farmville, and 45 minutes from John Kerr reservoir (on the boarder of NC). We are pet friendly, and the property is completely fenced. Enjoy free unlicensed fishing on property in our small pond, stocked with catfish and bluegills, or let the pups swim away the summer heat. Enjoy a walk on the nearby Tobacco Trail, fish at one of the many nearby rivers and lakes. Roast marshmallows over a fire and stargaze or catch fireflies all night.
All sites have access to a portable compost toilet, and we can provide water for the sun showers. We have tent sites, and an RV site, 420friendly but we do not partake.
PLEASE NOTE: No Check In After 9PM! The camp sites are only available with direction of host ( new closer parking area and camp area access gate for 2025!!)
Exceptions can be made in an emergency stay.

Each guest will have access to private parking area and wooded walkway, dome, deck area, fire pit, barbeque grill, hammock, and 3-acre pasture with pond.
Entrance codes will be shared to guests on the day arrival.
Guests will receive entrance codes for the private parking pad, gate after walking bridge, and dome red door.

I had a fantastic time at Reckless Raven! I really enjoyed meeting the sheep, goats, and horses. Doug and Lacie were very generous hosts and I felt right at home there. The campsite itself was beautiful, next to fields and trees with just enough space from the other campsites. I'd absolutely stay here again next time I'm passing through Virginia.

Doug and Lacie went above and beyond!! Doug helped me get my camper backed in and leveled. Lacie walked a bottle opener out to us in the rain!! Great conversation. Loved all the animals. Peaceful. Lacie made a killer breakfast for us. Both of them helped pack up the camper and got us on our way. Awesome place, awesome people. We will be back!

Fabulous stay! I got to feel like a kid again!
I loved the hands on interaction with the farm animals with direction and guidance from Lacie and her husband. The animals included goats, two one month old goats, sheep, three horses, rooster, chickens, fish, frogs, turtles and two terrific dogs. I enjoyed giving treats and feeding some of the animals along with brushing one of the horses. It was fun observing their interactions and having lots of memorable hands on experiences.
I sat in the shade by the pond watching the fish, turtles and frogs. It was peaceful, listening to the birds singing.
I parked my RV near their house, having convenient use of the shower and toilet.
Lacie and her husband are fantastic hosts, kind, helpful, friendly and even shared a delicious meal and other food with me.
I had a fabulous stay and I look forward to returning!

Fantastic farm stay! Book your stay at Reckless Raven Farm!
I loved lots of interaction with the farm animals provided with the guidance of Lacie and her husband. I got to brush a horse and lead it to graze. I felt like a kid again!
Peaceful time walking around and sitting at the pond, feeding fish and turtles.
I parked in the shade near the house for access to the bathroom. Lacie and her husband are gracious hosts, telling me about the history of the farm and even shared some meals with me. I look forward to returning.

The baby goats were absolutely adorable, and it was such a treat to see the horses and other animals up close. It made for such a unique and memorable experience.
