HEY FISHING GURUS - We are located on Chipman Pond and have there are more freshwater fishing ponds in and around our immediate area, several within just 5 miles. We are directly across the road from the Chipman Pond Boat Ramp, and we have plenty of room for vehicles with trailers. We have an onsite fish cleaning station and access to water. We have a long 'honey-do' list for this sweet little rental and cant wait to upgrade as we can, so bear with us in our early stages.

With 15,000 wooded acres, Pocomoke River State Park’s claim to fame is its stand of loblolly pine and cypress swamps bordering a wild and scenic river. It’s divided into two parts, Shad Landing (south side) and Milburn Landing (north side), which are about a 25 minute drive apart. The combination of ecosystems means the park is home to a plethora of plant and animal life including white dogwood and pink laurel trees, river otters, bald eagles and over 50 species of fish.There is no shortage of traditional camping activities, but the park also boasts an Olympic-sized swimming pool in case you decide “I can’t take this no more," and make like Squints from the Sandlot. The park's name may mean black water, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t take your baby down to Pocomoke where you can get there fast and then take it slow.

I loved being in this spot next to creek watching the sunset and rise was amazing very secluded for primitive camping you would love it there. Lots of crabs bait stealers lol 🤣 but did see some rockfish caught some spot etc.

Site is very natural and wild, which is lovely! However, there is no sign, and the road is overgrown, so be sure to arrive in daylight. Bring bug protection, as it is right by the water and loaded. We arrived at night and ended up calling the host for directions after being lost. She answered! She was very kind friendly helpful and informative. I look for.ward to returning to this zen oasis.

Great no frills, hidden but accesible spot along a beautiful tidal creek. Be up for sunrise and coffee while the fish jump, terrapins wade and mist rises into the dawn. Dusk is equally as beautiful and not as buggy as one would expect. Recommend for those looking for a quick wild camp set up!
