First of all, the location. The cabin is located on a rural road that is a five minute drive to downtown Onancock, which offers a coffee shop, several restaurants, bakery, shops, Saturday farmers’ market, and the harbor. Chincoteague and the famous ponies are 35 minutes north, and bougie Cape Charles is 40 minutes south.
When you open the door to this 300’ gem, you will step back in time to a simpler way of life. This century-old building was moved to the site and has been brought back to life, preserving the original character, while adding the creature comforts we love of today. Soaring 12 foot ceilings provide a spacious air, and the original wood interior offer charm and patina that simply cannot be manufactured. In the past, it was a barber shop and then a poker joint.
This place is a design nerd’s dream, a clever combination of old, new, and vintage pieces, handmade pottery and art, with close attention paid to each chosen piece.
Lace curtains and blackout blinds cover all your light preferences for peaceful sleeping. The queen bed is a high end hybrid mattress with traditional coil base and memory foam top. A giant 55” TV is directly across from the bed for cozy streaming.
The modern bathroom has a vintage wall sink found on site, and terrific water pressure from a rain shower head with instant, never ending Rinnai hot water.
The kitchen has an ample antique sideboard as your sink, apartment size refrigerator, induction hot plate, coffee, microwave, and combo convection toaster oven/air fryer. The marble table seats two. A comfortable down-filled loveseat adds another lounge option. You will enjoy all the artistic touches around the room.
Did I mention the front porch??? It’s the perfect spot for morning coffee, afternoon wine, and evening stargazing from rocking chairs with your boo. A pretty view of a wide field is across the street and will sooth your weary soul. What’s not to love about that?

HORSES WELCOME! Why not run your horse on the beach, then come to our campsites to relax for the rest of your day. There is a fenced pasture positioned next to the sites so you can see your faithful friend enjoying some grass or hay. We have a new Zinger 29' trailer set up with a bunk room and another bedroom, full kitchen and bathroom. It can easily sleep six people. If you have your own RV, we have a full hook up at the same area. The pasture where your horse stays will also have hay, water and shelter with a run-in. This is a sanctuary for our animals. We have nine animals here, four horses (some minnies) and five donkeys (some minnies). By staying here, you will be helping us to support our animals. We are in Frankford, De which is close to all the beaches and parks. There are many shopping adventures awaiting you, either outlets or upcycle stores. If you just want to relax, there is a small pond out back stocked with bass and turtles. We have 17+ acres but we only use the front five acres and leave the rest for the deer, foxes, eagles, hawks and whatever else shows up. We believe this is Heaven on earth and would love to share it will you. So please come, stay at our farm and relax. We are here year round.

The space
This camper was gutted and redone for a fun and whimsical living space. It now has a "fair" weather outdoor space which will include a table for 6 and a fire pit. But, bring your chairs and sit outside to relax and take in the sounds of nature and well: some pigs, chickens, donkeys, goats, sheep, etc. Lots of space to bring some tents and friends as well as horseboarding options for those who are passing through or want to ride the beach with their horses. We do have a playground for any little ones and you are welcome to walk around the farm and pet the horses and petting zoo animals. FAQ's
1. What should I bring on my trip? Shelley suggests bringing drinking water, oil/ butter for cooking on stainless steel, slippers/ loafers, and campfire wood if using the firepit (or you can buy ours and have it delivered to your doorstep.) If you plan on doing "Chores N' Tour with Shelley and feeding all the farm animals, bring closed-toe shoes such as sneakers or boots. No flip-flops or sandals are allowed for animal experiences. (Quick Note: Please leave home any bubble baths, bath bombs or salts as these are harmful on jacuzzis. Using plain water is best.)
2. Can I wander around the ranch, unattended? Keep in mind we are a small ranch and while 1/2 of our property is open, the other 1/2 is livestock pastures for our animal rescue and other rentals. You can walk to the Old West village, play a round of corn hole or enjoy the new horseshoe pit. Children under 18yo will need to be accompanied by an adult.
3. Can I access the all animals? The barndominium has its own, fenced barnyard that consists of a wooly sheep, a miniature horse, and an entire chicken coop where you can feed the chickens anytime while admiring our beautiful Indian peacock. You will also be able to see (but not touch) the turkeys, a mini pig, and an alpaca close by!
4. What other rentals are at the ranch? There is a tiny house, two bell tent yurts, mini-cabins and an entire Old West Village. YES! You can have friends and family rent other units and make this a group experience. You can also see all of our listings if you click our name (logo.)
5. What's the history of the ranch? The property is a horse stable and animal rescue for two decades. Local students take weekly horse lessons here and the public books guided educational tours and other activities. The ranch also produces a small amount of alpaca fiber and sheep wool that's sold yearly.
6. Can friends and family visit me while I'm at the ranch? No. The only people permitted to enter the property are registered guests. The public cannot access the property and we have a coded entrance gate. As a guest, you can expect to see other guests here, not people walking in off the street.
7. Can I catch a UBER or LYFT? Yes! You can easily catch a ride to Ocean City, Maryland, or beyond. You'll need to be picked up at the entrance gate, not at the barndominium. How about food delivery? Yes! Order Doordash or pizza delivery. Just plan to meet your driver at the entrance gate, not the barndominium.
8. Is there an option for early check-ins and late check-outs? No. Because this property has multiple rentals and cleanings, we do not allow early check-ins or late check-outs.
9. Are activities for children a different price than adults? All of our on-site activities are the same price for everyone.
10. Can I bring my pet or service animals? No. We do not allow any guest animals or pets to stay with us due to regulations and safety issues. We are also service animal exempt due to safety issues with nearby guardian livestock.
11. What is the smoking/ vaping policy? We operate a strict no-smoking and no-vaping policy at all times inside all of our rentals. The Swedish Cowboy space is located inside a barn and smoking of any kind is strictly prohibited while inside the barn house or directly outside. The best place to smoke is by walking down the driveway or inside your car (away from the stable.)
12. How secure is the ranch? The property has six outdoor security cameras running and in use at all times. These outdoor security cameras help protect humans and animals alike. There's a coded entrance gate upon your arrival to the ranch and there is on-site management that is available during your stay. You cannot enter the property without a code and we ask that you do not give it out while you're here.
13. This home sleeps 4 guests *including* babies and children. Have more than 4? Add 5th, and 6th guests for $25.00 for each additional person for your stay. We do not accommodate more than 6 guests max.
14. What are the checkout procedures? We have a 5-step checkout process and ask that our guests leave the barn house the way they found it, (neat and tidy.) We love to brag about super clean guests who leave our home well cared for.

FAQ's
1. Is this stay child friendly? YES! However it's important to remember there is a 2-guest max due to fire code and this INCLUDES children and babies.
2. Can I bring my pet or service animals? No. We are ADA service animal exempt due to safety issues with animals on display that are natural prey/ natural predators of animals including dogs. We also not not allow pets due to this.
3. Can I smoke? The yurts are strictly NO smoking inside, no vaping and no marijuana smoking as the next guest will appreciate an odorless welcome and you'll avoid the extra "deep cleaning fee."
4. Quiet time? Our quiet time is from 8pm- 8am.
5. Extra guests allowed? No, there is a strict 2-guest-only policy.
6. Can friends (not on my reservation) come visit me? No, all visitors here must be registered guests as the public is not granted access here.
7. How far is the beach? North Ocean City, MD and Fenwick Island DE are both only 5-6 miles away.
8. How secure is the camping area? There is a coded entrance gate at the property entrance along with 6 outdoor security cameras that stay on 24 hours a day for guest and livestock safety.
9. Are there animals nearby? Yes! Cowtown is named after our unique Scottish Highland bull with one horn up and one down. You'll see “Herbie” peacefully grazing in a nearby pasture along with horses, goats, an alpaca, a sheep, a rare curly-haired pig, a peacock, and fancy top-hat chickens that all call the ranch home.
10. Participating in a guest activity is mandatory here. We have FREE indoor scavenger hunts and the FREE Name Challenge memory game. Our most popular experience is "Chores N' Tour” where you meet up with Shelley to feed and get up close and personal while feeding 20+ animals. Go ahead! take selfies with Fonzie the kissing alpaca, play the rollover challenge with Charlotte the pig, and hay the jumping goats. As a bonus, Shelley will also let you check out the inside of any unoccupied rentals on the property to plan your next trip! Chores N' tour is $10/ person. 1 hr. long. Also on-site, are Brush N' Bond horse grooming sessions, horse whispering lessons, and farm animal paint sessions. Once you book, send Shelley a message with your chosen ranch activity!
11. Do guests have access to the entire ranch? No, guests have access to the glampground, cornhole, and parking area here at the ranch. The rest of the property is reserved for our animal rescue (habitats) and fenced off for safety. Animals are easily viewed from all locations while the goats can be pet and fed anytime if you bring some baby carrots or string beans.
12. What sounds can I expect to hear? Expect to hear typical sounds of nature such as crickets, owls, and the crackling of a fire. In the morning, you'll hear our sweet goat trio, Charlotte the pig, and her excited "oinks" along with the occasional "moooo" and possibly a crow from the rooster and a "honk" from Petey our peacock who is ready for breakfast!
13. What are the check-out procedures? We ask that guests leave the space the way they found it (neat and tidy.) We also love to brag about any super clean guests!

This full bathroom is well thought out and proudly eco-friendly with a “sink positive” type sink for hand washing. Also known as a Japanese sink, these sinks are popular in Asia for their ability to use fresh clean water for hand washing and then recycle into the toilet. Water is used twice; space is saved and this method of water usage is super green for the earth. We think it’s genius, but make sure you like it too! The dual-functioning bathtub/ shower is the perfect size for younger children to enjoy a bubble bath and adults can enjoy the shower.

Bring the baby carrots, strawberries and green beans if you want animal best friends! OUTDOOR AREA
The tiny house has an outdoor eating area with a rustic picnic table and a beautiful garden chandelier floating above it. Plan to relax by the fire pit/ grill with a soft glow of string lights at night. There's also a small garden nook with a single chair perfect for cracking open your favorite book under the big oak tree. The backyard is an amazing countryside oasis. You may hear songbirds and you will enjoy gorgeous sunsets with whitetail deer hopping through the field nearly every evening. At night expect crickets chirping, see stars twinkling, and enjoy the peacefulness only a rural setting can give.

FAQ's
1. What should I bring? While the tiny house is well stocked, Shelley suggests bringing drinking water, one heavy blanket for each guest for fall/winter stays, and many guests bring a cast iron pan to cook over the fire or a hot plate and their pans, instant pot or crockpot. If you plan on doing "Chores N' Tour with Shelley and feeding all the farm animals, bring closed-toe shoes like sneakers or boots. No flip-flops or sandals are allowed on animal experiences. Chores N' Tour is $10/ ea overnight guest and is 60+/- minutes long. $20/ person for the public.
2. Are pets allowed/ service animals? Unfortunately, we do not allow any pets and are service animal-exempt due to safety issues with on-site livestock guardians. Thank you for leaving your animals at home while enjoying all 20+ of ours.
3. Can I wander around the ranch, unattended? Keep in mind we are a small ranch and while 1/2 of our property is open, the other 1/2 is livestock pastures and other Airbnb's. You cannot access the entire property due to safety reasons and our livestock habitats. You can however walk to the Old West Town, corn hole area, the new horseshoe pit, visit the goats and view the horses and cattle but we ask that you do not open animal gates.
4. Can I access the all animals? The tiny house has its own, barnyard of animals that consists of miniature goats, a fuzzy alpaca, a red-haired pig, and a parading pair of turkeys! To access all the animals you can opt for hour-long, Chores N' Tour with Shelley. Feed 20+ farm animals while learning about the history of the ranch. As a bonus, Shelley also tours any of the unoccupied rentals so you can plan your next stay!
5. What other rentals are at the ranch? There is a tiny house, two bell tent yurts, mini-glamping cabins and an entire Old West glampground at the ranch. YES! You can have friends and family rent the other units and make this a group experience.
6. What's the history of the ranch? The property was a horse rescue for two decades. Some students take horse lessons here and the public books guided educational tours and paint parties. The ranch also produces a small amount of alpaca fiber and sheep wool sold yearly.
7. Can friends and family visit me while I'm at the ranch? No. The only people permitted to enter the property are registered guests. The public cannot access the property and we have a coded entrance gate. As a guest, you can expect to see other guests but not unknown people off the street. We also ask you do not give out your temporary gate code while you are here.
8. Can I catch a UBER or LYFT? Yes! You can easily catch a ride to Ocean City, Maryland, or beyond. You'll need to be picked up at the entrance gate, not at the tiny house. How about food delivery? Yes! Order Doordash or pizza delivery just plan to meet your driver at the entrance gate, not the tiny house.
9. Is there an option for early check-ins and late check-outs? No. Because this property has multiple rentals, we do not allow early check-ins or late check-outs.
10. Are activities for children a different price than adults? All of our on-site activities are the same price for everyone.
11. Can I bring my pet or service animals? No. We do not allow any guest animals or pets to stay with us due to regulations and safety issues. We are also service animal exempt due to safety issues with guardian livestock.
12. What is the smoking/ vaping policy? We operate a strict no-smoking and no-vaping policy at all times inside all of our rentals. The Swedish Cowboy space is located inside a barn and smoking of any kind is strictly prohibited while inside the barn house or directly outside. The best place to smoke is by walking down the driveway or inside your car (away from the stable.)
13. How secure is the ranch? The property has six outdoor security cameras running and in use at all times. These outdoor security cameras help protect humans and animals alike. There's a coded entrance gate upon your arrival to the ranch and there is on-site management that is available during your stay. You cannot enter the property without a code and we ask that you do not give it out while you're here.
14. What are the checkout procedures? We ask that our guests leave the tiny house the way they found it, (neat and tidy.) We love to brag about super clean guests who leave our home well cared for. You will find our checkout procedures on the refrigerator.

When you open the door to this 300’ gem, you will step back in time to a simpler way of life. This century-old building was moved to the site and has been brought back to life, preserving the original character, while adding the creature comforts we love of today. Soaring 12 foot ceilings provide a spacious air, and the original wood interior offer charm and patina that simply cannot be manufactured. In the past, it was a barber shop and then a poker joint.
This place is a design nerd’s dream, a clever combination of old, new, and vintage pieces, handmade pottery and art, with close attention paid to each chosen piece.
Lace curtains and blackout blinds cover all your light preferences for peaceful sleeping. The queen bed is a high end hybrid mattress with traditional coil base and memory foam top. A giant 55” TV is directly across from the bed for cozy streaming.

We have 17+ acres but we only use the front five acres and leave the rest for the deer, foxes, eagles, hawks and whatever else shows up. The camper is in the middle of a working horse farm with views of the horse pastures, petting zoo play area, and western riding arena. Lots of space to bring extra tents as well for more guests. The space
This camper was gutted and redone for a fun and whimsical living space. It now has a "fair" weather outdoor space which will include a table for 6 and a fire pit. But, bring your chairs and sit outside to relax and take in the sounds of nature and well: some pigs, chickens, donkeys, goats, sheep, etc. Lots of space to bring some tents and friends as well as horseboarding options for those who are passing through or want to ride the beach with their horses. Other things to note
We do have a playground for any little ones and you are welcome to walk around the farm and pet the horses and petting zoo animals. 1. What should I bring on my trip? Shelley suggests bringing drinking water, oil/ butter for cooking on stainless steel, slippers/ loafers, and campfire wood if using the firepit (or you can buy ours and have it delivered to your doorstep.) If you plan on doing "Chores N' Tour with Shelley and feeding all the farm animals, bring closed-toe shoes such as sneakers or boots. No flip-flops or sandals are allowed for animal experiences. (Quick Note: Please leave home any bubble baths, bath bombs or salts as these are harmful on jacuzzis. Using plain water is best.)
2. Can I wander around the ranch, unattended? Keep in mind we are a small ranch and while 1/2 of our property is open, the other 1/2 is livestock pastures for our animal rescue and other rentals. You can walk to the Old West village, play a round of corn hole or enjoy the new horseshoe pit. Children under 18yo will need to be accompanied by an adult.
3. Can I access the all animals? The barndominium has its own, fenced barnyard that consists of a wooly sheep, a miniature horse, and an entire chicken coop where you can feed the chickens anytime while admiring our beautiful Indian peacock. You will also be able to see (but not touch) the turkeys, a mini pig, and an alpaca close by!
4. What other rentals are at the ranch? There is a tiny house, two bell tent yurts, mini-cabins and an entire Old West Village. YES! You can have friends and family rent other units and make this a group experience. You can also see all of our listings if you click our name (logo.)
5. What's the history of the ranch? The property is a horse stable and animal rescue for two decades. Local students take weekly horse lessons here and the public books guided educational tours and other activities. The ranch also produces a small amount of alpaca fiber and sheep wool that's sold yearly.
6. Can friends and family visit me while I'm at the ranch? No. The only people permitted to enter the property are registered guests. The public cannot access the property and we have a coded entrance gate. As a guest, you can expect to see other guests here, not people walking in off the street.
7. Can I catch a UBER or LYFT? Yes! You can easily catch a ride to Ocean City, Maryland, or beyond. You'll need to be picked up at the entrance gate, not at the barndominium. How about food delivery? Yes! Order Doordash or pizza delivery. Just plan to meet your driver at the entrance gate, not the barndominium.
8. Is there an option for early check-ins and late check-outs? No. Because this property has multiple rentals and cleanings, we do not allow early check-ins or late check-outs.
9. Are activities for children a different price than adults? All of our on-site activities are the same price for everyone.
10. Can I bring my pet or service animals? No. We do not allow any guest animals or pets to stay with us due to regulations and safety issues. We are also service animal exempt due to safety issues with nearby guardian livestock.
11. What is the smoking/ vaping policy? We operate a strict no-smoking and no-vaping policy at all times inside all of our rentals. The Swedish Cowboy space is located inside a barn and smoking of any kind is strictly prohibited while inside the barn house or directly outside. The best place to smoke is by walking down the driveway or inside your car (away from the stable.)
12. How secure is the ranch? The property has six outdoor security cameras running and in use at all times. These outdoor security cameras help protect humans and animals alike. There's a coded entrance gate upon your arrival to the ranch and there is on-site management that is available during your stay. You cannot enter the property without a code and we ask that you do not give it out while you're here.
13. This home sleeps 4 guests *including* babies and children. Have more than 4? Add 5th, and 6th guests for $25.00 for each additional person for your stay. We do not accommodate more than 6 guests max.

The "Old West Bank" is a one-room mini-cabin that will take you back to the time of bank robberies and gold. However, this town bank comes with two twin-size beds in case you have an extra cowboy/ cowgirl with you, along with a smart TV, a mini fridge, a microwave, and heating/ air.
This bank themed cabin is light and bright due to the beautiful stained glass, and transom windows that let in the perfect moonlight. You'll enjoy watching Herbie the Scottish Highland peacefully graze from your rear window. Since this bank has a lot of gold, you may want to sit in the front porch rocking chairs and keep an eye out for any bandits!

Our most popular experience is "Chores N' Tour” where you meet up with Shelley to feed and get up close and personal while feeding 20+ animals. Go ahead! take selfies with Fonzie the kissing alpaca, play the rollover challenge with Charlotte the pig, and hay the jumping goats. As a bonus, Shelley will also let you check out the inside of any unoccupied rentals on the property to plan your next trip! Chores N' tour is $10/ person. 1 hr. long. Also on-site, are Brush N' Bond horse grooming sessions, horse whispering lessons, and farm animal paint sessions. Once you book, send Shelley a message with your chosen ranch activity!
11. Do guests have access to the entire ranch? No, guests have access to the glampground, cornhole, and parking area here at the ranch. The rest of the property is reserved for our animal rescue (habitats) and fenced off for safety. Animals are easily viewed from all locations while the goats can be pet and fed anytime if you bring some baby carrots or string beans.
12. What sounds can I expect to hear? Expect to hear typical sounds of nature such as crickets, owls, and the crackling of a fire. In the morning, you'll hear our sweet goat trio, Charlotte the pig, and her excited "oinks" along with the occasional "moooo" and possibly a crow from the rooster and a "honk" from Petey our peacock who is ready for breakfast!

Water is used twice; space is saved and this method of water usage is super green for the earth. We think it’s genius, but make sure you like it too! The dual-functioning bathtub/ shower is the perfect size for younger children to enjoy a bubble bath and adults can enjoy the shower.

Bring the baby carrots, strawberries and green beans if you want animal best friends! This tiny cabin was a lovely weekend get away! Onancock is a cute town to visit, and lots of ways to get beach/water access nearby. We really enjoyed having access to appliances for cooking too. Mona is an awesome and attentive host. We had a great visit!

Weekend Trip to Strawberry Crossroads
We visited the Strawberry Crossroads in early Nov to enjoy the fall foliage. We rented one of the small wooden cabins, which had 6 individual bunks with mats, a small fridge, a small table, a trash can, ceiling light and fan, and a cooler/heater. The land was beautiful with a lovely creek and a cute wooden bridge that crosses over it. We enjoyed the goats and chickens, and just the overall beautiful nature. The hosts were very responsive, kind, and relaxed. We had a great time and will recommend to friends/family.

The floating bungalows were great. We really enjoyed it. The children loved it sleeping on the water. It was calm so we hardly thought about it that we were on the water. Only problem,we arrived late and the code did not work for the lock. It took an hour for someone to respond to texts and give us a code for the key lock box. They had problems with internet because of a storm earlier is why the code didn't work for the lock. They should have given a code for the lock box right of way if they knew there were problems with the lock.

Mona's cabin was everything we hoped it would be - and more! The land is gorgeous and the cabin was even more inviting than the photos. Mona was very pleasant and responsive. We wish we booked longer and will absolutely be back!

Weekend Trip to Strawberry Crossroads
Camp site was easily accessible. Staff was accommodating for my late night arrival and helped get me into the cabin after a long day.
There was a nice stack of firewood outside of the cabin. I didn’t use it because of wet weather and limited time at the site, but it was a welcome surprise.
Inside has 6 bunks. I doubled up on mattresses since I was solo. Inside has a small refrigerator and remote controlled air conditioner, both worked well and AC helped ensure a solid nigts’s sleep. Inside flooring is carpeted and also has a small table and chair.
Communication was timely and efficient.
Bathhouse is about a 5 minute walk. Showers were clean, well maintained and had nice hot water. Would recommend if you’re looking for a quick accessible cabin near Ocean City.

Second year in a row staying here. Cabin was clean and had just what we needed to be comfortable for the weekend. Bathrooms had nice showers. The goats did sleep on our front porch and stalked us all morning Saturday, so that was an unexpected fun touch! Would definitely come back, and most likely will!

4 nights at Jail Cell- Glamping Experience!
The location is dreamy. It’s just minutes from Ocean City’s beaches, but the real magic is in the “jail cell” concept. The host nailed the theme without sacrificing comfort. The cell’s interior felt like a playful prison set, but with real amenities: a comfy queen bed, climate control (heat/AC), mini fridge, and even a smart TV stocked with apps and movies.
Check-in was smooth (4–9 pm), and the host’s communication was prompt and friendly. They clearly thought through every detail — from the iron bars and faux cell door to the clever décor touches that made you smile. There’s no early check-in or late checkout, but that’s a small tradeoff given how unique the stay is.
The surrounding grounds feel peaceful and private, adding just the right contrast to the playful “prison” interior. You’re close enough to town for restaurants, the beach, and shopping, but far enough to enjoy quiet evenings and starry skies.

We highly recommend staying at the Rustic Little Cabin. It’s so peaceful and cozy as well as clean. The kitchen has everything one needs and the bathroom is pretty with a great shower.

PERFECT!!! Is the only word I can use to describe this site!! We LOVED all the farm animals. The camper was clean, quiet, and well stocked! Waking up and seeing horses was the best factor! We even got to feed them!!! Kelly, Sean and everyone else on the farm were sweethearts! We will most definitely be coming back! Make sure you watch the competition if there is one while you're there! Our favorite was the white Pony in the petting farm!! But the cats were so friendly along with the dogs once they got used to you. Everything about this place was amazing! We will be back for sure
