The field is located next to the Blueberry Hill Inn and Outdoor, nestled in the heart of the Green Mountain National Forest and the Moosalamoo Recreation Area—offering stunning sunsets! We provide access to outdoor showers with hot and cold running water, as well as restrooms in the Blueberry Hill Outdoor Center. You can drive your car right up to your site, which offers privacy, though you may occasionally see other tents in the open field. For your campfire, you can forage for wood or request "bundles" (about a dozen pieces) by the morning of your arrival, and we'll have it delivered to your site. Please note, wood from outside Vermont is not permitted. Step outside your tent and you'll find a wealth of hiking, biking, and running trails. As stewards of these trails, your camping fees help support our efforts. Nearby, you can enjoy swimming, kayaking, and canoeing. Trail maps are provided upon arrival, and you can also view them online on our webpage at Blueberry Hill Outdoor Center. The Outdoor Center offers snacks and cold drinks for purchase, including our inn-made chocolate chip cookies, chips, and cold drinks.You can also request a full breakfast, pastries, packed lunch, and coffee from the inn across the road. 2 nights at Vermont Rustic Retreat

The view is beautiful! We were lucky to have arrived after a few inches of snow had fallen and it stayed on the trees the whole time we were there-it was absolutely gorgeous! We saw deer cross the road, heard owls and coyotes. Trails at the end of the road. As it states the cabin is small but Kathleen made excellent use of the space and 2 adults in there was just fine. Very cozy, more than enough wood to keep the woodstove going and have campfires. Everything you need is already provided. Was cloudy when we were there but on a clear night it would be a fantastic place to stargaze. Kathleen was a wonderful hostess. Very accommodating, very responsive and just a sweetheart all around.

Weekend Trip to Vermont Rustic Retreat

We loved staying at Kathleen’s place! The cabin is very private, feels completely safe, and the view is fantastic. Everything was very clean and nicely organized, and the minute you arrive you have everything you need. Even though the weather was cold, we stayed cozy and warm thanks to the wood stove, which was surprisingly efficient. The kindling and firewood were fully stocked as well, making the stay easy and comfortable. A wonderful experience overall! Thank you:)

Staying at the Dome in Know Town is truly one for the bucket list! The hosts are welcoming and so helpful. We stayed for three nights and even in the chillier weather on late October nights, the easy set up made everything a real breeze. The out house is extremely well kept up with and the land around the Dome gives so much to do and explore. If you’re thinking about it, BOOK IT! You won’t regret it 🙂

Weekend Trip to Camping Cabins

This stay is definitely bare bones, but perfect for experienced campers and outdoor lovers who bring their own stuff. Beautiful location, quiet space, their animals are awesome and the stargazing is impeccable. The she shed is just that, an enclosure to rest your head. The temps dropped to the 30’s in early October so I wore all my heavy layers, 4 blankets and a heat pad. It was still cold. I had my own lighting and power packs. It’s a must. But, I’m so glad I chose it. Their goats and chickens brought me so much joy, a fellow camper made me feel safe enough to stay there as a solo female, I spent the night under the stars petting animals, watched a movie and slept well. When I left, the owner messaged me if I’d left a bag and I had. I met the owners when I picked it up and bought a homemade breakfast sandwich. Great space, best for those who prepare for outdoor life. I recommend it highly for those who prepare for the option they chose.

Weekend Trip to ZenDen in Stowe

The cabin is a 1.5 mile walk to the Historic Stowe Village so it is very conveniently located to many restaurants and hikes like Stowe Pinnacle. It is a unique experience for 2-3 people in a small cabin with a firewood hot tub, cold tub soak in a gazebo, a wood stove sauna, two fire pits, an outhouse, a screened porch and grill. Another good feature is that dogs are welcome and have room to roam and relax. Rick was very responsive and accommodating in making sure we were comfortable with everything. He provided great suggestions for dining and hikes. We had another nice stay in beautiful Stowe for a popular fall foliage weekend.
