Please come prepared with a vehicle and shoes that are suited for the season of your arrival (mud, snow and ice) for both our property and the town road we live on. Listen to the gentle brook and barred owls while nestled into the woods of Ashfield, MA on a small herbal homestead. The forest hut is a screened in platform that is lovely for camping on a warm summer's night. It has large windows and screens to keep out the bugs while enjoying a cool mountain breeze. There is a newly built composting toilet on site and small fire pit. This is not a cabin, no electricity, running water or plumbing. It is not well suited for winter camping unless you’re well equipped. BYO gear as there is not mattress or blankets in the shelter. We have a small farm store near the road filled with herbal teas, tinctures, gifts, chicken eggs, soaps, maple syrup and ghee. Take a swim in the Ashfield lake 1 mile away or visit the enchanting Chapel Falls on Trustees land just down the road in Williamsburg. Such a beautiful place for glamping! Took my boyfriend here since he’s never gone camping and this was a perfect “camping lite” experience. The bed was so comfy and had plenty of blankets for late October - and we also utilized the Mr Heater that was provided and we were plenty warm. Definitely want to come back for more than one night!

Cabin D was so sweet and charming. We watched the sunset over the field and in the morning watched the field brighten as the sun rose through the woods behind us. There was a small heater available, but we didn't use it. The cups, silverware, cloth napkins and coffee and coffee put were a perfect touch. I did bring my favorite sleeping bags (zipped together) so we were warm when we woke up to 36°F in the morning, but I am sure the blankets provided would have been just as cozy. It was so wonderful to be able to watch the world through so many windows. I will definitely be back in the future!

We had a fantastic weekend away on our first glamping experience! We stayed in Cabin D! It was quiet and secluded and the views were amazing! The cabin was clean and cozy! We appreciated the “extra’s” that were provided As well. We highly recommend visiting Runamuk Farm in the Woods! 😀

Such a lovely spot on a farm in the woods! The tiny house had plenty of blankets and a very comfortable mattress so getting out of the bed when it was 36 degrees was quite difficult. Our dogs loved running around the field just off the front porch of the house. Such a joy seeing them be so happy. :) We will definitely be back and hopefully with some friends in one of the other tiny houses.

We’ve stayed at this farm twice now and both times were so lovely and such a unique experience! Bonnie is always very accommodating. We’ve stayed at sites B and D and they are both beautiful and cozy. The view and atmosphere is amazing, and the little bedrooms are extremely cozy with plenty of warm blankets. I’m sure we will be back again sometime :)

We had a great weekend at Runamok! The cabin was beautiful and so clean. The view was unbeatable with the sunrise and sunsets over the mountains especially this time of year with the leaves starting to change colors. We stayed three nights and there were some nice essentials to help us make dinner each night (grate to put over the fire, gas burner to boil water, silverware set). The space was private and our dog loved being off leash with room to roam without worrying about him getting near the other cabins. Would love to come back!

Wise Pines was a lovely off-the-beaten-track place to stay near Woodstock. Incredibly comfortable bed and clean amenities. My dog and I enjoyed walking the beautiful gravel road and hanging out in the common space by the fireplace. Definitely recommend!

We had a great weekend getaway in this cute forest hut! The hut and privy were stocked with everything we needed for a weekend. The town of Ashfield is also very quaint. The hut is fairly close to the Airbnb house, so if you're looking for an isolated stay in the woods, this may not be far enough from others as you'd prefer.
