Experience all that the northeast kingdom of Vermont has to offer while staying at Green Mountain Glamping. Ride the Kingdom Trails right from the property! Nestled among the trees, our bell tent sites feature comfortable beds, pillows, linens, towels, a picnic table, smokeless fire pit, large ADA portapotty and more! During your stay you're likely to see whitetail deer, squirrels and chippies, rabbits, and hawks. There's a chance you may see a fox, black bear, moose or even a bobcat! We ask that food is secured in your vehicle and not brought into the bell tents, for your own safety. We do have a basket of safety equipment in each tent. The basket contains bug spray, bear horn, simple first-aid kit, fire extinguisher, and a flash light.

Nestled on the shoulder of Mount Cabot (4180'), our hillside yurt has a stunning vista of the Connecticut River Valley, with Mt. Lafayette to the south and the Green Mountains to the west. Welcome to my camper in this magical location in Newark, VT! The camper has a solar-powered battery so you are able to use the lights and the slide out for more space. *Note that power outlets do not work.* There is currently no water hooked up, but there is a spring up the road across from Newark Pond, a lovely spot for swimming or kayaking. Bald Hill Pond is another beautiful pond nearby. The property is a little over 3 miles from Lake Willoughby where you can do all kinds of hiking and go swimming/kayaking. There are also walking trails surrounding the property. There is a fire pit but you must bring your own wood. There is an outhouse for your bathroom needs (do not use camper bathroom - it is not hooked up). You will need to bring your own bedding and/or sleeping bag for the bed. We love camping, and when we decided that state campgrounds and the like were just too busy, we found this amazing, secluded property on a small lake with no public access. There is a cabin on the property, which is available for limited rentals. However, we have a great flat yard just a short (2 min) walk to South Pond thats perfect for a tent. There's a rustic outhouse, fire pit, picnic table, and usually games like badminton setup. Our property is a couple miles down a private dirt road. Fishing is great (with a license of course), and the water is perfect for kayaking and paddle boarding.

Buttercup is a large, luxe, wood and canvas lodge at the top of a 15 acre mountain meadow overlooking the green mountains. A mown path leads directly to one of the area’s best swimming holes, at the base of a waterfall underneath a covered bridge. The lodge has two bedrooms and sleeps five guests. The kitchen has a sink and gas cooking stove. The lodge has a half bath with toilet and sink, and there is also an outdoor bath house with a deep soaking tub and shower. Weekend Trip to Mead Hill at Mount Cabot Maple

We had such a great time at the yurt and exploring the property with our two dogs! Morgan did a great job of showing us everything we needed to know for our stay. The yurt itself is absolutely beautiful and truly makes you feel like you’re sleeping in nature. The location that they chose to build the yurt provides an amazing view of the mountains right out the front window. We opted to use the wood-fired hot tub while we were there and it was a fantastic experience. Although the wood stove was out of commission during our stay, the space heaters that were provided were more than enough to keep the yurt toasty, even during the cold late November nights. We would gladly come back again!

We stayed in the yurt for a weekend and loved it! Bed was comfy and thought the woodstove wasn't working, the space heater kept us cozy. Morgan and Rush were excellent hosts, answered all our questions graciously and made us very welcome. The woodfired hot tub was glorious. Hope we can visit again someday!

Weekend Trip to Burke Backyard Bell Tent

I enjoyed my stay at the Burke Backyard Bell Tent! I met Deste briefly and she was friendly. The town of East Burke is only a few minutes away and there was super easy access to lots of incredible mountain biking. While you have to walk from the driveway past the house to get to the tent, once you are there it feels pretty private and spacious. It was clean and there were some cute solar lights. The only thing I would improve is the bathroom situation, which is a pretty simple Boxio set up which I didn't find the most comfortable.
