We do live on the property with two small dogs (friendly) and chickens (contained). A privacy fence separates the homes. The drive way is shared by guests and property owners. Amenities: Excellent AC/heat Electricity -On demand tankless water heater. -Wi-Fi Kitchen has a mid-size refrigerator, 4 burner propane gas stove with oven, large sink and individual filtered water faucet, microwave, toaster, coffee bar, and all cooking and eating utensils necessary to prepare a meal. We provide coffee, tea assortment, creamer, sugar, spices, olive and avocado oils, and Farm Fresh eggs. Bathroom has a flush toilet, 36” shower stall with body wash, shampoo & conditioner dispenser. Bath towels, toilet paper, blow dryer, and small iron. The sleeping loft upstairs has a full size bed and small chest of drawers to keep clothing in. There is an extra fan for warmer if needed. The living area has a futon couch that makes into a full size bed. There is a speaker available to listen to music but no television. Out doors you will find a propane bbq pit, fire pit, firewood, and sitting area to enjoy the nights sky after a long day of traveling or hiking. Guest access When you exit Hwy 12 onto Road 200 West our driveway is to your immediate left. You will see the Grover Getaway sign at the beginning of the driveway. We are a pet friendly RV only campsite. The property is a short 6 mile drive from the quaint town of Torrey, host of the annual Fort Desolation Festival and 15 miles by car from Capitol Reef National Park. Our location provides RV travelers with an ideal base camp for exploring the natural wonders of this region of Southern Utah and the majestic Boulder Mountain. The property consists of mostly pasture land, desert sage, pinyon pine trees and panoramic mountain views. The ranch is surrounded by some of the most amazing scenery anywhere and endless outdoor opportunities! We have a single (self check-in) RV/trailer/van parking area complete with water, power, sewer, WiFi and picnic table. All guests MUST have their own bathroom, clean up after pets and pack out any trash. We are unable to accommodate tent or car camping anywhere on the property unless you are with a group that has a trailer or RV equipped with a bathroom available for use during your stay and no open wood burning fires are permitted at this time. Weekend Trip to Capitol Reef RV Park and Glamping

Stayed in #60, an A-framed structure about 200sq/ft with electricity, AC, heat, and windows that view the sky. Site has a picnic table, fire pit, and chairs around the fire. Very comfortable bedding. Beautiful and quiet grounds. Well maintained. Bathrooms and showers are a 10/10. Justin at the store/clubhouse is top notch and a great host with great recommendations to local hikes and restaurants. There is also a cool dog park area that is fenced in and has some fun obstacles for them. All in all this place is awesome and we cannot wait to come back.

What a great spot! The bath house is super nice -- running water, including 12 minute hot showers included with stay! There's also free laundry if you're staying and a nice big sink that I used to do dishes. A hangout area and tons of outlets for charging up electronics, couch and some tables/chairs, free wifi, and a microwave -- felt like I was glamping! I will definitely recommend this place to others! I will say, the tent camping spots while flat did not appear super level so just be aware of that. Great location close to many things in Grand Staircase as well!

We loved this clean park with hookups for our rig and awesome views! Staff was friendly, showers were good, and even the onsite BBQ was descent (we had the smoked chicken!). They have some nice curated items in their gift shop too so be sure to check it out.

Beautiful and peaceful setting. Very clear directions and instructions. It was wonderful having full hook-up! And an extra nice surprise to receive a gift of coffee! Thank you! It was close to the parks we wanted to visit and our dog enjoyed some off-leash time with us. We very much enjoyed our stay there and most definitely would stay again.

This site is ideal for stopping somewhere near Capitol Reef. Beautiful drive from the park through the National Forest; I was not expecting Ray's place to be as nice as it was. Brand new guest area with a TV, shower, laundry, and bathrooms with great WiFi. Great piece of land with excellent views and better services. As a tent camper Ray was kind enough to offer a trailer for my night's stay due to low temps. I have stayed at multiple hipcamps over the last few years and this is far and away the best. Will be coming back 100% when in the area.

4 nights at Thousand Lakes RV Park

Great location for touring Capital Reef and surrounding area. The back sites on the fence are the best but there is no walking/hiking to speak of out of the campground. Property is well kept, bathrooms/showers clean and nice. The one big drawback was that the dump station doesn't have water so it's really not usable. We just pulled in to one of the sites that had sewer hook-up, glad one was empty.

What an absolutely beautiful stay!! The cabin itself is so comfortable and clean! The restrooms are a short walk away and there are 10 full private bathrooms with shower, sink and toilet. The store offers snacks and souvenirs as well as ice and firewood. The star gazing here is a AMAZING!!

The cabin was perfect, clean, good location. The cabin was a nice change from our camping locations. We did a 10 day 5 National parks. This was my favorite stay. They are quick to message you back, excellent customer service.
