Fully furnished glamping canvas bell tents, with premier tents on platforms with electric (and Kuerig coffee pots and coffee!). Sleep 2 - 10 comfortably, depending on the size tent. Tents range in size from 10 - 20 feet. Glamping vintage trailers are available too, and are also fully furnished with electric. The fully renovated vintage trailers sleep 2-3 people each. Or bring your own small to mid-size RV, tent, or car/truck/van and pick a cool cleared or primitive site of your choice. We also have 5 electric 30 Amp hookup available. The camp is surrounded by farms and ranches, wineries offering music options (one is dog friendly!). Lake Conroe is 20 minutes to the east. Amenities include a cowboy pool, courtyard seating and camp fire pit, hot showers, bathrooms (currently port-a-potties), fiber wifi, and a potable water/filling station. We are in the customer service business, meaning we make it easy to camp (and celebrate!) with our beautiful 4-season canvas glamp tents and glamp vintage trailers. Just drive up to your tent and get ready to relax. All tents are fully furnished with made beds and critical supplies, and have picnic tables, chairs around the fire rings, firewood, and charcoal grills. Our premier platform tents also have electric, heat, hammocks, Keurig coffee pots, coffee and more! Vintage trailers have everything you need as well inside and out. Reservations are available on both Hipcamp and Airbnb. We even offer to decorate for you in advance for special celebration occasions. Now get ready to relax in nature! Bring your own RV/tent (or car camp - no hook-ups) or rent one of the 2 campers on-site that have full-hook ups. Amazing sunsets! Set up anywhere along perimeter - fence line or tree line. Nice and dark, perfect star-gazing spot. 7 miles from the TX Renaissance Festival. Daily, weekly and monthly pricing. No hook ups for bringing your own RV/tent or car camping. Generators allowed. Please drive and park only along the perimeter of the property, not across the middle of the field. That field is being grown for hay. Upon entering the property, go straight or turn right and follow fence and/or tree line to a camping spot of your choice. Again, please do not drive across the middle of the field at all. Thank you! No fires are allowed on the ground. Fires need to be off the ground. Fires need to be monitored. Please bring your own firewood. Dogs are welcome, but must be leashed or on a tie-out, and cannot be left outside unattended. Nearby on the same road is Family Farm for strawberry picking. Also nearby is Bernhardt Winery (free live music, family and pet friendly) and DeepRoots Vineyards (with big concert venue). This cedar cabin was built in the late 1950's and was the first building in Birch Creek Subdivision and was used as the real estate office when selling land for Subdivision. Joy Moore bought this fixer-upper in 1986 when the oilfield went under, at a youngster in her early twenties and has owned ever since. Lake Somerville is known for the best fishing lake in Texas. Deer run plentiful on the property and will come up close and personal when fed corn. So, stop and pick up a sack or two of deer corn before arrival. The closest city is about a 20 minute drive to Somerville so make sure to have everything you need before camping. Learn more about this land: Pitch your tent or stay in cozy cabin with accommodations like home, including wifi and tv. Private pond with firepit near Lake Somerville. Enjoy fishing and hiking within walking distance of camp and Birch Creek State Park. Launch boats in park. The fishing is excellent! Relax, you are at the lake! Enjoy your stay. NOTE: Pond on property relies on Mother Nature; No rain means low or no water. Texas has been under extreme drought. Pray for rain! Good news! Cathy's Dream Glamping is set on 24 acres of rolling pastures dotted with trees, ponds and abundant wildlife. The property is located halfway between Brenham and Round Top Texas - midway between Houston and Austin. Glampers have a choice of the bigger yellow cabin with full bath and kitchen (sleeps 5 to 6), the Tiny Green Grasshopper cabin with private outdoor bathroom and queen bed (sleeps 2), our yurt (sleeps 4) with access to the Cabana House, airstream (sleeps 3) with full amenities, or primitive tent sites. We do not have hook ups for trailers. The Blue Cabana House is open to all glampers and has 2 full bathrooms with showers, full kitchen and lounging area with TV, video movies and board games. The wood fire pit is just steps from the Cabana House. The large pavilion has multiple seating areas, gas firepit and outdoor kitchen area for grilling and meal prep. All bathrooms and kitchens are supplied with filtered rain water from our state of the art rain collection systems. We have a labyrinth mowed into one of our pastures, a small pond with sitting area under the trees and a larger pond a short walk from the cabin area for fishing or wildlife viewing.Come relax and hang out on the property or venture into Brenham or Round Top for antique shopping, restaurants and more.
