We didn’t actually get to stay here due to a booking mix-up (on our part, not the host) but Erica was very kind and communicative in helping us sort things out. On that alone I would stay here next time we come through Austin. Bummed we didn’t get to check it out because the tiny house looks lovely! Hope to stay here on the next trip.

Erica’s spot is perfectly glampy. The trailer is so cute, very clean and tidy, highly functional, and modular. The trailer is small which is what I was looking for since I was flying solo for my weekend trip. I could see a couple staying here if they don’t mind being in close quarters. The AC unit feels AMAZING. The little table folds up easily so that you can transform the futon into a bed. The trailer is in her backyard which includes another tiny residence (whom you share a bathroom with, the bathroom is its own structure). The backyard has lots of cute lizards and squirrels and unique decorations that Keeps Austin Weird in the best way possible. Erica is incredibly friendly and helpful and responds quickly. Looking forward to booking this spot again in the future.

Simple space in a great location close to all the cool east side spots and downtown and accessible to major roadways for exploring all the great city of Austin has to offer! It was a great combo of rustic nature in the heart of the city. Being in the heart of the city brings city noises so be prepared if you're a light sleeper and bring your earplugs or AirPods for some green noise cancellation. The outdoor shower was a lovely way to start my morning!

Stayed here for 1 night, it’s just what I needed while I was in town. Parked my truck on the flattest part I could find by the pond and set up camp and enjoyed the view of the night sky. Some horses were roaming at night but never approached, along with a pretty good amount of sheep in the morning. Expected, and it never smelled bad, so I didn’t mind. Cool spot, I’d come back again.

Amazing hosts and beautiful property! Lots of horses and soft grass. Went fishing at the lake nearby a caught some lovely blue gills, perches and a bass! Went horseback riding as well and BA was sweet and well mannered! The hosts stopped by to greet us upon arrival and checked in with us throughout our stay. Great trip, will be going again!

Gerard’s property was great, my dog and I arrived just before sunset, had dinner and walked around the property a little bit and then settled in and relaxed. Decided to not set up a tent and SUV camped (cleared it with Gerard first). Easy in, called and Tony let us in gate (super nice and helpful), showed us spots to pick to camp at. There’s a combination lock on gate so they give you a code and you can get in and out as often as you need (you are not locked in/stuck as a few others commented, and it’s nice having that outside gate locked so random people don’t wander on the property). My dog loved it and was super relaxed. The only strange thing (nothing to do with Gerard’s camp sites) but a couple literally set their camp site up as close as you can get to the porta potty that 3-4 camp sites use. I don’t know, it was really weird to me why they would want to be basically on top of it, but to each their own. I would stay here again, maybe choose a different area if they are still camped at that porta potty…Gerard has over 300 acres. Oh last note…you will see planes departing because the airport isn’t super far away but it didn’t bother us, we had to shut the SUV because it was cold outside, and put on some music and didn’t hear any plane noise. And this morning we did see a horse roaming on the property close by right before we left.

I fell in love with this Farm. I’ve never experienced so much peace, beauty and solitude in 30 years as I did here! Definitely a diamond in the rough! The owner and employees are so kind and helpful! The animals are so curious and beautiful, you’re seeing the Austin skyline in the background and there’s endless spots to set up camp. I’ll definitely be coming back soon! I wish I could live there forever!

Beautiful landscape!! Horses everywhere! They were very friendly! Horseback riding was amazing as well! Hosts were kind and welcoming. Not much shade on campsites but with the cold weather that wasn’t a problem for us. Plenty of portapotties available onsite. Lake had plenty of small fish that we were able to catch and release. Already have our next trip booked!!

A 30-amp electric hookup is conveniently located on the side of the house, with water access available from the rear. While sewer hookups are not available, we are happy to discuss nearby options for dumping gray and black tanks. During your stay, we'll be residing in the house but will respect your privacy while remaining available to assist with anything you might need. About 15 minutes to tube rentals to float the river in San Marcos. The San Marcos outlet malls are a shower trip. An approximate 30 minute trip to Wimberly, TX wineries. There are wildflowers all over the property; especially in the spring time. We have seen deer grazing on the property and some travelers have found fossils and arrowheads (no guarantees of course). A tent can be provided upon your request ahead of time. We look forward to hosting you. We want you to create lasting memories by connecting with yourself and loved ones.

Public river access is just down the road. Just 8 miles away located in the heart of Texas’s barbecue capital, Lockhart State Park is an intimate, area with lush trees and trails along the Clear Fork Creek. It offers amenities like a swimming pool, a golf course, a small waterfall, fishing, and hiking. It’s just a 10-minute drive from legendary restaurants like Black’s Barbecue, Smitty’s Market, and Kreuz Market—all must-eat stops for barbecue fans.
