There are also a few honey bee colonies scattered on the property. Open grassy areas as well as tree covered areas. This is a quiet neighborhood and wildlife is abundant. You may hear coyotes and a great horned owl at night. There is a honey bee themed gift shop on site that is regularly open Thu-Sat 10-6 that offers tastings and tours. There is a restroom and small sink area connected to store that is open 24 hrs. There are 2 LONG RV spots up to 45 feet in length BUT, they are back in only and the turn around area is tight if you have a BIG RIG. The 2 camper van sites are (Site 1) 32' and (Site 2) 22'. Ask me if you want to know more! It helps me to approve you more quickly if I know how tall/long your RV is. Especially if you are longer than 24 feet. You can text me info. Situated on the side of my house, the site is 95' long. 38' of which is along my house. The width between the house and fence is 18 feet. This should fit any RV with 2 slides and awning being open. The entire lot is fenced in, granting guests(and pets) full use of the pool and yard. Enjoy privacy with no neighbors in the back and an 8' side fence where your RV will be parked. The lot is a city sized lot, less than 1/5 acre, but HipCamp won't let me put in less than 1 acre. Pictures show my white/red retro RV as well as other RV's and how they have fit with and without my RV. Backing in is best for trailers - motorhomes/vans can go forward or back in. You may find maneuvering backwards a bit challenging due to the angle from the street through the front gate and my house overhang. It can be done...it just may take a village! :o) There's plenty of room to tandem park a towed vehicle in front of your RV(fenced in too!), and both 50amp and 30amp electric hookups are located on the back side of my house near the water hookup. (NOTE: Hipcamp will not let me notate in the fields that I have a 50amp AND a 30amp, thus I have 2 sites listed. I have had 2 RV guests stay at same time, but will not book that unless I get the ok from all parties.) LIVE sewer hookup isn't available because my clean-out is in the front of the house. Dumping can be done on the way in/out or with a portable tank.. Nestled in a charming, gentrifying neighborhood, expect the pleasant hum of city sounds (not overly loud) and glimpses of starlit skies. During your stay, I'll be residing in the house with my sociable dog, Toby. We'll be respectful of your privacy but available for any assistance you may need. This area offers 1-2 camping spots on a wooden deck, and 2-3 camping spots on the rock/concrete pavilion overlooking the fire pit and benches. The riverfront amenities include a gas grill, a cooler, a fire pit (firewood included but always subject to a burn ban), and well water for a hose shower (not for drinking). Come and stay at our four acre riverfront property right on the Guadalupe! Half of the property is at higher elevation, with a nice sunset vista and breezy camping spots. Parking is also located up here. A short walk down a gated ravine takes you to the lower-leveled riverfront part of the property. This area offers 1-2 camping spots on a wooden deck, and 2-3 camping spots on the rock/concrete pavilion overlooking the fire pit and benches. The riverfront amenities include a gas grill, a cooler, a fire pit (firewood included but always subject to a burn ban), and well water for a hose shower (not for drinking). There is well water on the upper part of the property as well. No fires are permitted up top. Enjoy the views up top and the amenities down below. Set up your camp wherever works best for you! Note: There is no electricity or bathrooms on the property. Please pack out what you pack in. We rent the entire property to one person/reservation at a time. Up to 10 people on the property allowed or $25 per extra person. Cast a line in the Guadalupe and enjoy the bass and catfish fishing — If you're interested in a fishing guide for a 2-3 hour morning run, the cost is $250.00. 1 night at Hill Country Micro-Farm Glamping

We really enjoyed our stay! Just a few notes for future guests: the yurts are located in the owners’ backyard, so there isn’t a ton of privacy, and the bathroom doors don’t fully close since they don’t lock. The property has lots of fun animals, which adds to the charm, though a few did get out during our visit (a chicken, the dog, and even the pig) — a little stressful since we had our own dogs with us, but admittedly, waking up to a rogue pig was pretty thrilling. Last note, the heater in yurt 4 doesn’t work. 7/10

Craig was a fantastic host, and his assistant Matt was so kind and helpful! We really enjoyed the property, it was breathtaking with all the pine trees around! The fact that my dog was allowed to roam and explore really took the stress of keeping her leashed off me so I could finally relax as well….probably the best thing about the trip! The private bathroom and shower were also a plus! 10 out of 10! Thanks Craig and Matt!

I really enjoyed my stay on Sara's land. There's a road along the campground with intermittent traffic, but despite that, it was quiet and peaceful, even more so at night- exactly what I was looking for. The seating/picnic area next to my campsite was clean and inviting. Deer walked through the campground, which was lovely to see! Sara is a courteous host. I look forward to my next stay.

My husband and I camped here for the weekend and loved it. The site felt private but not too far from the main house should an emergency arise. We walked the property down to the Colorado river and it was a beautiful little hike. The site is close enough to Austin that we spent sometime exploring the city as well. Giovanny was an excellent host! Oh ALSO we were blessed to have a sweet orange cat hang with us in the evenings, we called him Chico and was a pleasant surprise additional guest. Will definitely stay again!

I came for solitude and a menu for each meal, just to toss is out of the window and explored the eateries within distance (thanks Tamara!). We had an absolute blast staying at Lucy’s RV spot in East Austin! From the moment we arrived, she made us feel right at home. The site was level, fairly easy to back into, and had everything we needed—electricity, water, a spot to dump, privacy, and plenty of room to relax after exploring the city. Lucy was incredibly kind, welcoming, and quick to help with anything we needed. Her dog Toby was the sweetest — he made our stay even more special with his friendly personality and daily visits! The location couldn’t be better: so close to downtown Austin. Having access to the pool and green space was a huge plus, and it made the stay feel like a mini vacation instead of just an RV stop. If you’re looking for a quiet, well-kept RV spot near the heart of Austin, this is the one! Thanks again to Lucy (and Toby!) for being such amazing hosts — we’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town.

Great little spot to lay your head. Cool system of interconnected trails that leads down to the lake. There was a large amount of pine needles everywhere that make for a little extra cushion while sleeping. Bathroom was clean and well maintained.
