RV sites are boondocking only (no water or electric at this time.) Our slice of land on the Medina River is truly gorgeous! There are beautiful cypress trees that are magical year round, and there are often small rapids. If relaxing in the shade by the river and dipping your feet in is your thing, our property is perfect for that! However, this is not a swimming hole. This was our second stay here, and we’re glad we came back. The first trip was about 50% rain, so we wanted to come back and fully enjoy Blasingame Camp. William and the Gray family are super friendly, the property is beautiful and very private, and there’s plenty to keep adults/kids/pup entertained without leaving. Being close to Blanco Square is a big bonus, and the bathroom upgrade since our last visit was much appreciated. Highly recommend — we’ll be back.

Really easy to get to - didn’t see anybody besides our group while we were there but were still close enough to town for anything we needed. Nice trails around the property to explore and we appreciated that you can have firewood at the site upon arrival. Would definitely recommend!

My fiance and I stayed in Forest 2, it was our first time camping and we loved it. The spot was secluded and felt quiet, not far from the restrooms either. Deer would occasionally be around the site at night time while we slept, we didn't mind, but recommended to have food stored away properly and have the trash thrown. We also went fishing by the river and saw some nice fish, the water was nice and clear. Overall awesome experience.

My son and I had a great time camping here! John and Nugget were wonderful hosts - very friendly, welcoming and helpful. John helped guide us to a spot that had enough vertical clearance for our RTT and helped us get our “camp kitchen” setup. It’s a beautiful property - we didn’t get to explore as much as we would have liked because it rained but we will definitely be back!
