Bee Mountain Resort is a secluded off-the-grid campground that's been around since the '70s. And it's pretty well known to the locals.
I first discovered the Brazos River back in 1985 looking for smooth water to ski on. And having developed so many great memories camping over the years, I can confidently say our resort is classic and old school. Change comes pretty slow on the Brazos.....and we happen to like it that way! Family, friends, kids and pets all love our amazing getaway; it's a rare gem best shared with good people.
Every campsite is located directly on the river and all of them are huge. Firewood, ice, kayaks, paddleboards and generators are available at low prices. Great tasting water from our 500' deep well, clean restrooms and a camper dump station are located on premises. We are very pet friendly providing your pet is friendly.

Trickle Creek Ranch was once a dairy, we purchased it 15 years ago and it has become a hobby ranch. We are also collector's of vintage RV's and currently have various vintage trailers and motorhomes on the property. There are horses and longhorn cattle that roam the 12 acres. We have added RV spaces to share the ranch experience with others. Be sure to visit the hey shed where you can visit with animals up close and feed them. Eagle Mountain Lake is only 2 miles away and there is plenty of shopping and restaurants within 10 minutes. We do have some full time residents as well.

Really nice camping spots that's not too far from Fort Worth! We had such an amazing time the spot was perfect for stargazing and relaxing. There's not really any Internet service it was very spotty, but that's what makes it even better. It's nice to disconnect and enjoy the outdoors. The river is right at the camp spot easy access for kayak and paddle boards. Our dogs also loved this spot!

This is a great camping spot for families. The hosts made our stay easy and checked in each day with any updates and or to see if we needed anything. Being able to get firewood, kayaks, ice, and fresh water from the hosts was convenient. The views along the river are amazing. Cell coverage is limited, which we liked. Wildlife is present all around the property, the coolest being the owls, whose hoots would resonate and echo off the river. Speaking of the river, the water is very calm in front of the camp sites, with most allowing for pretty easy entry. Plan on bringing life jackets for kids. This is a camping spot we will definitely be returning to!

We had an absolute blast tent camping this weekend! The sites were really big! I love that they deliver fire wood right to your site. Having a bathroom near was also nice! They were very friendly and communicated with us multiple times throughout the weekend. We hope to be back very soon!

We had a wonderful time. Each campsite was right on the river and it was so beautiful! The restroom trailer was kept very clean and was convenient to use. I have already been telling my friends to check out Tony's land for their next camping trip! We will definitely be back.

Great place for camping, we felt safe and welcoming by the host. The place was clean and has amazing views, the only issue is that we did not have any signal to make a call or text, however the host offered WIFI access. Overall 5 star all around

Vast property with stunning views and lots of natural beauty. It was great to wake up to the sight of the river in the morning. Unfortunately it rained quite a bit of our time there but we still did our best to make the most of our stay.
Be aware the campsites are pretty close together, so this might not be the place for you if you are looking for something secluded. We were fine with it but we did have to listen to a generator 24/7 at the campsite next to us which was a bit annoying.
Ice and firewood are sold on property which is a huge plus, although the firewood we had delivered on the first night was pretty damp which made it hard to get the fire started. I assume this is not a problem when the weather is better. Overall great spot and hope to return at some point and have better luck with the weather, thanks Tony!

The host were very accommodating and friendly. The tent site that was reserved for us was the best Tent site had really good tree shade, space, privacy, and views! As mentioned in the description, cell service was little (T-Mobile) or next to nothing (Visible), which was perfectly fine for us and expected. Restroom near the site was great and convenient. Minimal road noise, we noticed the train sounds more. Overall great site and will be back again!

Gary’s place was just right for our overnight stays. Super easy 20-minute drive to visit our kids and grandkids in Fort Worth. Gary was a great host, really enjoyed chatting with him and hearing a bit about the old dairy farm. Our two grandsons (3 and 5) stayed with us for a couple of nights and loved seeing the longhorns and exploring the property. We’ll definitely be back.

Beautiful views, the largest tent site we've ever experienced, clean bathrooms with a flushable toilet, friendly service, and the sounds of nature. There were even lightning bugs at night, which is a novelty to see these days!

I have a Ford Transit camper van, so I just needed a place to crash on the weekend away from the city.
I really like that even though it feels I am away from the city there are stores and restaurants 10 minutes drive from the farm.
I also appreciated they had a nice warm shower and a bathroom right by the area I parked.
The fire pit is shareable, but it seems like no one cared for it, so I had it all for me 😅

My 19 yr old son and I came to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and what we found was incredibly remarkable. Such a serene experience right next the mighty Brazos River. The water was flowing pretty swiftly due to flood control from the upstream lake but us and our 2 Black Lab pups just loved every minute of our time. With about 2 miles of well maintained riverfront to hike, we found ourselves just completely blown away by the beauty and serenity of God’s creation. His staff was very helpful and they made the stay very pleasant and accommodated all of our needs. I highly recommend this place to anyone and my wife and I are already in the works of planning our return trip.

Our stay at bee mountain resort was amazing!!
The camping area are very spacious, gives you PLENTY of room if 3 or more tents are being put up. We were right off the bank shore making it easy to put kayaks into the water. Finally the bathroom are clean and kept up.
Lots of trails to hike as well. Melanie and Tony are very helpful and keep EVERYONE update when bathroom are being traded out or just checking if campers need anything, definitely recommend and will be coming back to here

Had an amazing time. Crew taking care of restrooms and running the wood/ice requests were timely and accepted Zelle at the reception area at the front of the property.

We had a magnificent time at Bee Mountain. Tony and Melanie were fantastic hosts and we cannot wait to go back. They made check in a breeze, they were super friendly, answered every question we had, and were a joy to sit and chat with.
The property is simply stunning! I could go on and on and on about it, but just do yourself a favor and go out there for a stay!! It’s truly a gem and I am so thankful that there are private property owners that share their little slices of heaven with those of us who would rather be out in nature than stuck in the concrete jungles.
