Marc’s land was so perfect! The views were incredible with a spectacular sunset over the marsh and an equally beautiful sunrise over the ocean. It was a quiet and peaceful stay. The sky at night was dark enough we could see so many stars and the Milky Way was very visible. Marc is an amazing host. He went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and having a good time. I can highly recommend staying here!

Great place to watch birds. Peaceful spot to be still. We could have enjoyed the pond with our paddleboards. Be prepared for some mud if you play in the water. And also scattered thorny plants. Its very natural prairie land space. My favorite thing was watching the moon come up over the water.

I had a really great time staying in a tent at Marc’s place. He communicated well & gave lots of good info in preparation. The coast is right there & the marshes were easily visible & accessible without obstructions. I took a kayak & fished back through the marshes & the bay. Caught lots of crabs & shrimp. There are decent public showers & bathrooms nearby. Keep an eye out on weather & take everything you need. It’s a long ways from many places but that’s also the best part. I will definitely plan on coming back to this little private slice of South Texas paradise & will stay longer next time.

Directions were easy to follow and the roads in weren’t bad at all. I stayed at Coyote Corner and it’s a nice open area with plenty of space to set up camp. There was a lot of wildlife around—saw turkeys and deer throughout the stay, which made it even better. The weather was perfect and having a full moon at night really added to the experience. My one-year-old Aussie was definitely stimulated the whole time in a good way and loved exploring. The host was very informative and helpful, which made everything smooth. I’ll definitely be back and plan to try the other site next time.

everyone in my group loved the location and the proximity to the water! they arent kidding when they say youre across the street from the beach. not super secluded during the day since theres other people on the beach or walking by a lot and theres only a chain type fence but we were the only campers and had the whole property to ourselves which was very nice:) our host was very quick to respond to all of our questions and super friendly and helpful in doing so. my brother said its his favorite spot we been to so far! beautiful place to spend a night or two
