There are paths to walk, a stocked tank to fish in, (bass, catfish and blue gill), and oak and pecan trees to sit under and view the clouds as they drift overhead. There are some targets around the place if you like target shooting. You will need your own guns and ammunition. This activity is at your own risk.
Neighboring town, Malone is about 8 miles away. It's quite small but does have a convenience store, with ice, drinks, food, and worms for fishing. There is also a small-town bar with music and food.
Hubbard is a nice little town about 15 miles away. It features small cafes, antique shopping, gas and a Sonic.
The town of West is much larger and about 30 miles away. West features Czech Bakeries, & old town square shopping.
Don’t forget mosquito spray, bedding, and drinking water. There is plenty of dead wood for fire, but you may want something to cut it into smaller pieces. Please don’t go too big or crazy with fire. Conditions can be very dry. Keep the wood burning fireplace in the tent to small fires please.
Tents can fit 2 adults comfortably; bring your kids and sleep on floor or bring your own tent to set up for them. children are free no extra charge.

Waco Creekside was so beautiful! Very clean and the staff is very nice. The bath houses and laundry were very clean and well maintained. Each site is easy to navigate and hook up. Very minimal noise. Most guests were 40+ friendly and quiet. The dog park was big and very clean. All guests kept their dogs quiet. We had no issues and I’ve already booked our next stay!

The owner greeted us. Judy was extremely hospitable. We enjoyed sitting and getting to know her and the ranch. She left us some feed for the Llama's so they would come over to us. The chargers for our EV were great to plug into for a cool night's sleep. Extremely peaceful for human recharging too.

A nice area for resting in the evening, with pretty wildflowers under the trees. We enjoyed the deck for breakfast, too. There was no city noise. Getting our RV in place and hooked up was easy. Regena is very friendly and conscientious. We will stay again when we are in the area. We had planned to do a scavenger hunt with the grandkids, but ran out of time this trip… maybe next time.

What a fantastic experience. The property was very cool and interesting. You can walk down to the lake to swim or take a boat out (I think that they have ones you can rent). The tent I stayed in was roomie and even though it was hot this time of year in Texas , they had fans to get the air flowing and it wasn’t an issue for me at all. As a bonus, we got to hang out by the campfire and listen to some homemade music. I think Berry the host was a pretty special person and hanging out by the fire it was really cool way to get to meet other travelers and some of his friends.

Really awesome place, beautiful property. I really enjoyed the reclaimed and colorful aesthetic. One of the best hosts ever; super laid back, friendly, and very helpful. I initially asked for a primitive site and a pop up storm hit; the owner was quick to put me in a camper at no extra cost. The community areas were awesome to have; full amenities all the way around readily available regardless of what campsite you chose, laundry, showers, and toilets are still readily available. Clean and comfortable stay. 10 out of 10 stars, glowing review; one of the best travel stay experiences I've ever had.

The property was very unique. The gentleman that runs the place was very nice and kind and showed us around. The place was equipped with cooking supplies stove top refrigerator freezer. There was a shower indoors, but there was also a shower outdoors in the shower outdoors was better than the one indoors. I’ve never showered outside before, but it was actually very nice. You could tell the guy put a lot of work into that property. It was a memorable experience.
