Sometimes you can find arrowheads. Some of the forest burned down in the great Bastrop wildfire in 2011, but it has grown back. Mobile phones work well here. Strong signal. Learn more about this land: Lost Pines Camping is located on a gravel dead-end road. We are in a pine forest with some oaks and have a two-acre lake on the property that is good for swimming. Highway 29 can be busy at times, despite being a two-lane road. Quiet hours are after 10 pm Sunday - Thursday and midnight Friday and Saturday. Access to our river site is included in your camping fee. This secluded hike-to (~ 1-2 minute walk) site is peaceful with limestone cliff views and no visible homes or signs of civilization. The trail head is accessed by a dirt road that winds around our corn field and into the woods, and can be accessed by any vehicle in normal weather conditions. We will provide warning/refunds if the river road becomes 4x4 only. Fishing is allowed with a valid Texas fishing license. There is no overnight camping on the San Gabriel River. All camping is at the main farm area and campers are able to come and go from the river site as they please (day or night!).

There are wildflowers all over the property; especially in the spring time. We have seen deer grazing on the property and some travelers have found fossils and arrowheads (no guarantees of course). There is a restroom and small sink area connected to store that is open 24 hrs. There are 2 LONG RV spots up to 45 feet in length BUT, they are back in only and the turn around area is tight if you have a BIG RIG. The 2 camper van sites are (Site 1) 32' and (Site 2) 22'. Ask me if you want to know more! It helps me to approve you more quickly if I know how tall/long your RV is. Especially if you are longer than 24 feet. You can text me info. If you like to be further away from the hustle and bustle and appreciate more primitive camping, try the CEDAR CREEK Site at the back of the property. This site is near the (seasonal) bubbling creek, under the shade of the Juniper trees. There is a 10x 6ft shade tent with table and optional extension cord for use. (Request power upon booking) If you like a little more action in your campouts we do occasional music events on site. Ask about those dates when booking. We have a water hose for potable water on property and an open air private outhouse in the trees. We have a strict trash Pack in/pack out all trash and pet waste policy. Leave sites better then you found them and don't cut down anything that is growing. No burn bans if you use the rocked pits and put the fire out before you leave/sleep. Leave your mark by adding something useful or decorative to your campsite. Whatever your camping desires, we can accommodate! **Booking these appts at site booking give us ample time to schedule **

13 Acres Retreat is nestled in the the rolling hills in the beautiful Texas Hill Country just 30 minutes west of Austin. We are home to some of the most amazing sunset views from our meditation deck in our community park. For the past 8 years, we've enjoyed hosting guests from around the world in one of our homes, luxury villas, glamping cabins, RVs, and campsites spaces. We host weekly meditation and yoga for our guests and have a 24/7 grab-and-go cafe on site for late night snacks. We also have a Tribe Market with handmade goods, mindful books handpicked by the owner, and gifts to purchase and take with you. Guests enjoy showering under the stars in one of our outdoor showers and compliment us on the well decorated outhouse that we have cleaned daily by our amazing team. There is a community pool that's a short trail walk next door to our sister retreat for dips in the pool during warmer days. We enjoyed our stay out at 3 Dry Wells Ranch immensely! The campsite was level & secluded, yet had a stunning view of the Blasingame Valley. The oak trees were magnificent, they provided a welcome reprieve from the afternoon sun. The fire ring was placed where you could view the open sky, although we didn't use the it due to a burn ban (next time for sure!). We would love to come back 🏕️

This was such a great stop along our camping trip! The site was big enough for a group, although we only had two people. Plenty of space, a nice picnic table, firepit, etc. Easy to follow instructions to get to the site, with plenty of activities to do around the area. Our host Jana was responsive and communicative with good information. We would highly recommend and we will be back for another stay! Also a plus, they are pet friendly.

We had a great time camping out on this property. Super easy to find and very responsive host. Depending on the wind (and the noise level of other campers on the ranch), you can hear a neighboring camp site, but other than this we had zero issues and would definitely return! Thanks very much.

What a beautiful property! Kasey was so nice and showed us around, made sure we had plenty of wood, and made us feel right at home. The stars were bright and the tent was very comfortable! The bed in the tent was so nice and the sleeping pads she offered were great. The walking trail was really pretty in the morning too. It was very quiet and safe, we definitely recommend this site

I had an amazing time at 3 Dry Wells! I stayed for four nights with my dog, and it was so peaceful, beautiful, and private— I didn’t see another guest my entire stay. I was lucky to be there during a meteor shower, and what an amazing place to be for that because the skies were so clear that you could see the Milky Way. My pup and I enjoyed hiking the trails and visiting the spring-fed creek, which was such a treat on a warm day. William was such a kind a gracious host. We hope to be back again!
