Once you start down the driveway you'll see the lake through the trees, making the rough 5-mile ride worth it.

Baker's Cabin is in the country. Located about 25 minutes from Centerville, it makes for an easy weekend getaway from the Houston or Dallas areas. As you drive from interstate, to highway, to county road to dirt road and over a single lane wooden bridge, you feel yourself start to unwind and relax.
This cabin is located on a private dirt road (too much rain can make things muddy). You'll be given gate access for entrance. As you drive down the dirt road, you'll find our light blue cabin on stilts. Because the cabin is raised, you have a great entertainment space sheltered from the weather. If you’re looking for a relaxing adventure with all the comforts of home, this is the perfect stay. The host was amazing—friendly, helpful, and incredibly quick to respond to any questions we had. We brought our RV and were able to camp right alongside my sister, who rented the Airstream for Thanksgiving, which made the experience even more special.
The property itself was beautiful. We spent our days exploring the trails and enjoying the local wildlife, and our evenings were filled with cozy campfire vibes and plenty of s’mores. It was the ideal blend of comfort and outdoor fun. We can’t recommend this stay enough and can’t wait to come back!

The space was well isolated so it felt very private! The site is nicely established with a fire place and plenty of seating! It was a AMAZING trip with family to relax and be together during the holidays!

We had a great time here. Cherise was really hospitable and greeted us upon our arrival and showed us around. In the morning we had scheduled for the complimentary animal feeding and the experience was awesome. Cherise met us at the barn as scheduled at 9 AM sharp and provided us with a good amount of treats for all the farm animals. It was really nice to be able to give the donkeys, goats, Horse, horses, miniature cow, and chickens their morning breakfast. Cherise even allowed my two siblings a ride on one of the horses which we thought was really nice and a great experience for the kids. Oh, and she has a really beautiful turkey and peacocks on site as well. Overall, we had a fun time here and would definitely love to come back to check out the glamping tent.

We had a wonderful stay at Stewart’s Cove in Cabin 3! Gene was incredibly kind and welcoming, and the cabin itself was clean and comfortable with great water pressure and a beautiful view. We loved being able to catch fish right from the pier and truly enjoyed every moment. We’re already planning to return — this time bringing our whole family!

We stayed in a Travel Trailer. The power was set for any type power needed. Good clean water and sewage available at the front or back of the unit. Good amount of property available to give my dog a walk on leash. He enjoyed all the new smells. Many friendly chickens. A very enjoyable time. Would recommend to all.

I recently had the pleasure of spending a weekend at Outpost 203, renting the Vintage Camper, and I can't recommend this experience enough! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the charming retro design of the camper, which offered a cozy and inviting atmosphere.
The camper was well-equipped with all the essentials, making it easy to relax and truly enjoy our time in nature. Waking up surrounded by the sounds of the forest was a refreshing change from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The nearby hiking trails and beautiful scenery provided endless opportunities for exploration and adventure.
In the evenings, we gathered around the campfire, sharing stories and roasting marshmallows, all while soaking in the stunning starlit sky. The sense of community at Outpost 203 was evident, with fellow campers sharing tips and experiences, adding to the overall charm of our stay.
