Weekend Trip to OceanFront RV Pad

We had an awesome stay at the OceanFront RV Pad in Sargent, Texas. The location is unbeatable — the surf is literally steps from your camper! I spent hours fishing right from the shoreline and caught a variety of species, including a beautiful redfish I grilled up fresh on the charcoal BBQ pit provided at the site. The site itself was clean, well-maintained, and easy to access, even for a larger rig. What really stood out was the host — incredibly accommodating and responsive, which made the entire experience that much smoother. If you’re looking for a peaceful, beachfront spot with great fishing and a laid-back vibe, this place is a gem. We’ll definitely be back!

Nice and quiet site. Mostly private. The landscape was very nice and offered multi "textures". There were wildflowers and grassy areas (where we pitched a couple tents) as well as rocky areas with lots of shells heading out towards the sandy beach. The owner's house is near the RV pad but they were gracious with offering their space while giving us our space and were nearby if we needed help. Our AC went out and the host found us a number to call for a tech. The host also offered to take our trash when we were leaving, both of which were above and beyond our expectations.
