We were looking for a spur of the moment weekend getaway by some water, and found the listing for the Oceanfront RV Pad, located in Sargent, Tx. Booking process was simple, made contact with the host, and she gave simple instructions on finding and accessing the property. We arrived and the host met with us briefly to give us the rundown on the site, as well as a flyer she'd created with information about the area... stores, places to eat, fishing supplies, etc. as well as the wifi information. The site was awesome! Nice concrete pad with plenty of room for our 29' class c motorhome and our Jeep parked in front of it. There is full hookups: water, electric (with both 30 and 50 amp plugs) and sewer. One thing to be aware of, the sewer drop is positioned at the rear of the site, so a long hose may be needed to reach it, but we were still able to make it work. There is also a picnic table at the back of the pad and a BBQ grill as well. The site is truly oceanfront, with a great view right across the road and the sounds of the surf was so nice. Beach access is as simple as exiting the property and just a few minutes at most and you're on the sand! The intracoastal waterway is located behind the property so we could see the barges going back and forth which was cool as well. All in all, it's a great place to stay for a beach trip and the host was super easy to work with. We'll definitely stay here again!

This was a perfect spot for me and my family! The concrete pad was very nice. We were able to fit our 42 foot 5th wheel just fine. Lots of privacy and hearing the beach just a few feet away everyday was relaxing.

We had a great visit at Ocean Front RV. Our host met us when we arrived and gave us local information. Everything was spotless and perfect. If you want an enjoyable break from hectic life this is the place to go to unwind.

We enjoyed our stay at the OceanFront RV Pad. Our host Lisa was friendly, very knowledgeable of the area, and a cool host.
The concrete pad site is very level and accessible from the front road that separates the campsite from the Gulf of America. Our 30 amp connection was stable, we didn't avail ourselves of the septic connection, and Lisa advised us to use the water for showering only which we did.
The location is remote, so please arrive prepared with what you need to support yourselves during your stay. The nearest "town" of Sargent doesn't offer much in the way of shopping or dining, but we knew that going in and packed accordingly.
For us, it was perfect as we simply wanted a nice quiet place to enjoy the peace, tranquility and sounds of the ocean, and the OceanFront RV Pad delivered that in abundance.
If we find ourselves in that neck of woods again, we'd absolutely book a stay here again, and recommend that you do the same!

Great location for a peaceful stay away from the hustle and bustle of popular beach locations. This is one of those stays that feels like it wasn’t long enough no matter how long you get it for.

We had an amazing, quick spring break getaway at Oceanfront RV. Lisa was extremely accommodating to our family and very helpful with directions and parking for all of us. She even went above and beyond to help us find a store that had a sewage hose extension when we realized we had forgotten ours.
The site itself was extremely clean, with the yard cleared of stickers and ants. Even though it was located near their house, we never felt crowded and still had plenty of privacy.
The beach access was the best part. It was far enough away that we didn’t end up filling the camper with sand, but close enough that my kids and mother-in-law could easily and safely walk back and forth.
We truly enjoyed our stay. The beach was completely uncrowded and incredibly relaxing for all of us. We would absolutely stay here again!

GORGEOUS oceanfront pad! We popped in for a last minute 1 night trip to Sargent. Lisa's place was perfect! You are steps from the sand, but far enough away to not have the clean up of sand. Hook ups worked great and Lisa was very friendly and communicated well. Thanks so much Lisa!

Lisa's property and RV pad is impeccably well maintained. The location is perfect for relaxing on their property, hanging by the beach right in front of the property or heading down the public beach nearby. We are looking forward to coming back!!

We had an awesome stay at the OceanFront RV Pad in Sargent, Texas. The location is unbeatable — the surf is literally steps from your camper! I spent hours fishing right from the shoreline and caught a variety of species, including a beautiful redfish I grilled up fresh on the charcoal BBQ pit provided at the site.
The site itself was clean, well-maintained, and easy to access, even for a larger rig. What really stood out was the host — incredibly accommodating and responsive, which made the entire experience that much smoother.
If you’re looking for a peaceful, beachfront spot with great fishing and a laid-back vibe, this place is a gem. We’ll definitely be back!

Nice and quiet site. Mostly private. The landscape was very nice and offered multi "textures". There were wildflowers and grassy areas (where we pitched a couple tents) as well as rocky areas with lots of shells heading out towards the sandy beach. The owner's house is near the RV pad but they were gracious with offering their space while giving us our space and were nearby if we needed help. Our AC went out and the host found us a number to call for a tech. The host also offered to take our trash when we were leaving, both of which were above and beyond our expectations.

This is an amazing spot to come bring the family. The host is extremely accommodating and the location is perfect. Just steps away from what feels like a private beach. Water and electrical hookups makes this place a 10 out of 10. Will most definitely visit again!
