Great beach

Fun place to pull the rv in. We plan to stay a few more days next time. Great marine traffic from the canal behind the spit.

It was a nice location! Felt like you were camping on the beach but with full hook up. Definitely would stay there again!

Spacious beach area. Unique loc

Felt primitive but with comfort of rv hookups. Good water pressure good electric and good sewer connections at site. Wish the rv pads had more space between them. Felt like our neighbor could see right into our trailer so we did not have much privacy. Beach area is full of driftwood and trash. The canal is busy with barge traffic. I would recommend this campsite especially if you were to traveling with others and rented the other sites. We stayed in campsite 3. Campsite 2 had folks from the north and campsite 1 had old trailer parked in it maybe long term camper but they were not around.

The views of the gulf of Mexico and the waterway with the barges were gorgeous. The campsite was perfect. Definitely take the time to drive the beach for miles.
