Beautiful mountain views here in Benton, TN. We are about halfway between Chattanooga and Knoxville on Hwy 411, which was the road more traveled before they put in I-75. Very very close to some World Class trout fishing, hiking, and sunbathing. Our sites are nestled on a private 6 Acre tract of land between the two small towns of Benton and Etowah. Quiet. Hwy 411 carries a bit of traffic, but ain't nothing to worry about. We have everything you'll need in either Benton or Etowah. Talking about beauty shops, muffler shops, donut shops, even salvage metal yards. Ride the scenic railroad up the mountain. Banks are nearby. Gas pumps are nearby. We got bears in the woods and snakes in the grass. This is the part of Tennessee where folks from Tennessee go to "get away from it all". Absolutely some of the best mountain views and hiking trails you'll ever need are within six miles. On your way to Knoxville or Chattanooga? Well, you got a place to stop and plenty to do if'n yer lookin for advenchure !! There is the Cherokee National Forest less than two miles away. There is flatwater about 1 mile away. Whitewater is about 10 or 12 miles. Waterfalls, hiking, shopping, restaurants, Mennonite Community, and much more within three or five miles. Weekend Trip to Happy Hippie Camp

The camp provided everything we wanted. It was close enough to Pigeon Forge to be convenient, yet fairly secluded. The water, sewer and power were great, and even WiFi access. There's a nice fire pit area with chairs and games. The road up is kind of steep and a little tight, but we made it fine pulling a 19" trailer. The lot is sloped a bit, so bring some decent levelers if you need them. There were a few cement blocks there, which helped. Overall, we we very happy with the setup and will definitely be back.

Site is on the side of a mountain, level, clean, and a great fireppit!The trails are great for a walk in the woods, the lower one has a small running stream. As far as privacy goes, it's wooded, but there is a house directly across from the site. My 2nd trip here, will be back!

We had a great time camping with friends at Shaded Creek RV Hookups! The kids enjoyed playing in the field, biking around the field, talking to the pig and playing in the creek. We had a great time gathering around the fire pit (thanks to Robert for providing wood!!), and it was great to be able to get into Tellico so easily. We tubed on the river and explore Baby Falls and Bald River Falls. We also got treats from the Tellico Grains Bakery and ice cream treats at the Tellico Beach Drive In. A perfect Labor Day weekend!

We’ve stayed on Robert’s land several times and it was always very quiet and pleasant. It’s a beautiful setting. Couldn’t ask for better hosts. Extremely accommodating and friendly. They have a pet hog named Sadie on the property that just adds to the charm. An all around wonderful experience!

The campsite is very beautiful. It is set in a tranquil, pastoral setting rimmed by beautiful tree-covered hills. You have to meet the family hog! Robert and Tina are so friendly and helpful. We have stayed there several times now. Definitely recommend to anyone 😊

We returned once again to Shaded Creek RV hook ups- This is now officially our favorite place for camping in TN! Here’s what we love: It’s perfectly serene and peaceful, even though it is pretty close to downtown Tellico Plains. It is so picturesque and lovely, with a cool, clear creek, rope swings, a fire pit, and table and benches. The hosts are always generous, kind, and gracious. Booking is very easy, and Robert is excellent at communicating with his guests. We always enjoy our stays here and look forward to returning.

Once again, Shaded Creek RV Hookups exceeded our expectations. This lovely spot is peaceful, beautiful, and welcoming. Easy access from nearby Tellico plains makes it very convenient. Check in is always easy, Robert, the host is a great communicator, and he and his family are gracious and welcoming. We have always had a great time whenever we have stayed here and we will always return to this site whenever we are in the area. I highly recommend Shadec Creek RV Hookups! 😄

The wife and I loved it. Although you could hear people from nearby houses, it still felt private. Beware of the driveway if you’re in a car. There was a spot that i was thankful to have a truck and my camper is an off-road edition or I would not felt comfortable driving across it. The large rut was due to wash from heavy rains. Once at the site. The area was tight to maneuver a 20’ camper around. Overall we look forward to returning.

What a hidden treasure. The site is clean, the host is very nice ans easy to communicate with. As you won't have a cell phone signal (just what I wanted) the host ensures you have all direction and even the Wi-Fi password well before your trip! Would stay again anytime!
