Lemon Lane Farm, a 116 acre farm on the Cumberland Plateau, will take you to another place.  Come relax, wonder our trails (1.5-5 mile options), detox in our sauna, meet and play with our animals, fish in our pond, visit our general store, visit nearby waterfalls (3 of them within  5-20 min drive).  Stay at the farm and never leave or explore the amazing surrounding areas.  Each site at Grandview Camp is unique and has its own private space, visit with the owners of the farm and other campers or be completely private and stay to yourself, the choice is yours.

Fridge works when you use the generator but if you want to go electricity free to save money we also have an old Coleman cooler you can use!

Glamping at Deer Camp Cabin

We build from the heart with blue prints and Deer Camp was a thought that started on the back of a receipt and grew into a 12x12 cozy cabin. We have 13 acres and we share with that Deer Camp. Only enough land has been cleared for structures so it's all wooded and every structure was built by us and is unique and one of a kind. 

Outdoor movie theater available for use March through December. Complete with hammock chairs, cozy blankets, propane fire ring, and all the movies you love on the big screen.

With a comfy bed and windows that open all around it's the perfect place to relax.

On the deck of the cabin you'll find a kitchen with everything you could need to fix a meal.

The bathroom is amazing and has a wonderful view of the woods.

You'll find a picnic table by the fire if you want to enjoy a meal outside.

The Land at FlatTop Mountain

Off the grid, out of the way, rustic 10 acres where you can pitch a tent, take a hike and enjoy a campfire.  Mostly wooded with nearby sites to explore, a few swings for fun (swings have recently been removed due to trees falling) and a fantastically cold seasonal mountain creek for cooling off.  

Always improving our place, we recently removed the 'cabins', which were unsuitable for use. 

The property is part of a community, which you may notice on the way to the campsite.  Site 1 (The Swings) will be first left after you turn into the driveway.  It is a U shaped drive, at the bottom of the U, park and walk 15 feet to site.  Site 2  (Main Container) is at the end of main driveway, next to container.  Drive to end of driveway, park and walk 10 feet to camp.  Both are equidistant to the outhouse.  Please look through all of the listing information.  The road into The Land is gravel and some bedrock; high ground clearance vehicles are best but all vehicles can make the journey.  Tough to navigate in the dark. We bought The Land from a couple who had previously been homesteading for several years. The buildings (*all buildings have recently been removed) on the land were built with lumber cut from the property. Previous owners farmed rabbits and had a system in place for water. The SEASONAL creek at the bottom of the slope is wonderful and there is a spot for two adults to sit down into the crisp water and plenty of room for lots of feet. If you follow the path in the middle of the property, a 30 minute walk (therefore not on our property) will take you to a beautiful swimming hole. It's cold! There is no power or running water at the property so it's an ideal place to get away from daily life and truly relax. We hope you will enjoy it as much as our family does!

Please read everything on this listing.  Please note that even though some pictures show buildings, there are no longer cabins/shelter on The Land.  We are unable to remove pictures Hipcampers post.  It is raw 10 acres so, yes there are ticks.  Cover up and spray as you see fit, just be aware.  Also, since it is 10 acres of trees, there is plenty of firewood.  We don't leave any bundles, just find down limbs and presto, firewood.

Camp along the river or up in your own private forest.  One of the darkets skies around so be ready for some stargazing at night by the fire.

This is a property I purchased in 2018 to create a camping experience that reflected the image of camping as a kid. This isn’t a "hotel without walls." This is real camping. No phone signal. No electric wires. Just nature and beauty in a quiet environment.  

Get lost or find yourself relaxing along the Rocky River. Stay in a hammock, a tent, camper, RV, or one of our cabins. Privacy and freedom is what we are about. Pet friendly camping that should be shared, but please don't tell everyone you know.  Only your favorite people..  Then come camp!

The RV at Chestuee Creek

Almost two years ago we moved onto this rural property from the city of Chattanooga. One of the biggest reasons was to start growing and raising our own food. Since then we have started managing heritage pigs, registered dairy goats, chickens, ducks, a garden, and a food forest. Our hope for campers is to come not only to camp, but to be exposed to food grown healthier and happier than most. The way we rotate animals on pasture is like none other in our area, so we’d love to give a tour and show what it’s all about.Learn more about this land: Enjoy the view from the hill as the sun sets over the neighbors’ horses and pond. Also, we have several farm things going on, our garden is across the driveway, chickens are a stone through away, the goats will be heard for sure, and our heritage breed pigs may be found in the front yard depending on the time of year!
