I recently acquired this property that has been in my family for over 100 years and my original home place until around 1980. My wife and I initially made this site for our own RV use, but we want to share it for others to enjoy and also to help finance our constant improvements. The original house that I grew up in is still located on the property but is currently uninhabitable (for now). My fondest memories of the property are of playing and catching crawdads in the creek that located on the property when I was a kid and riding horses and flying kites in the fields. I am working hard to restore this property to the way I remember it and trying to make it enjoyable for those that come to visit. A majority of the property is still being used as a hay field during the summer months and two to three times a year the hay is usually harvested.

Off the grid, out of the way, rustic 10 acres where you can pitch a tent, take a hike and enjoy a campfire. Mostly wooded with nearby sites to explore, a few swings for fun (swings have recently been removed due to trees falling) and a fantastically cold SEASONAL mountain creek for cooling off.
Always improving our place, we recently removed the 'cabins', which had become unsuitable for use.
The property is part of a community, which you may notice on the way to the campsite. Site 1 (The Swings) will be first left after you turn into the driveway. It is a U shaped drive, at the bottom of the U, park and walk 15 feet to site. Site 2 (Main Container) is at the end of main driveway, next to container. Drive to end of driveway, park and walk 10 feet to camp. Both are equidistant to the outhouse. There is a trail (tagged with red) that goes all the way around the property, a top half and a bottom half that will take you by the creek. Please look through all of the listing information.
The SEASONAL creek at the bottom of the slope is wonderful and there is a spot for two adults to sit down into the crisp water and plenty of room for lots of feet. If you follow the path in the middle of the property, a 30 minute walk (therefore not on our property) will take you to a beautiful swimming hole. It's cold! There is no power or running water at the property so it's an ideal place to get away from daily life and truly relax. We hope you will enjoy it as much as our family does!
Please note that even though some pictures show buildings, there are no longer cabins/shelter on The Land. We are unable to remove pictures Hipcampers post. It is raw 10 acres so, yes there are ticks. Cover up and spray as you see fit, just be aware. Also, since it is 10 acres of trees, there is plenty of firewood. We don't leave any bundles, just find down limbs and presto, firewood. DO NOT USE THE MAP LISTED OR GOOGLE MAPS; it will take you straight through water. We send detailed directions to you once the day before your booking. Please plan to travel in with daylight, it is incredibly difficult to navigate to our space in the dark. Nearly 3 miles of hiking trails to enjoy during your visit. Take a spur trail off the main trail loop and there is a prayer shelter with a fire pit inspired by Luke 6:12 in the back corner of the property. Located at the edge of the prairie on the main trail is a sunrise/sunset/bird-watching platform that is 20 feet in the air with a 2 stage bridge to access it. We updated the outdoor kitchen with a 3 burner propane stove, Blackstone grill and hot running water with a 3 bay sink. Other cooking options include a tripod over the fire and a charcoal grill.
A short 10-minute drive to fire tower rd. brings you to a 2 mile loop trail with 2 waterfalls, Upper and Lower Piney Falls. Ozone falls is just a 20 minute drive. Then toward Spring City is Stinging Fork Falls at 25 minutes. Black mountain is my new favorite place especially the south overlook! The Hiking possibilities are nearly endless and close. I'll highlight one thru hike here since both trailheads are only 20 minutes away and is easy to coordinate with only 2 vehicles. It's a 10.2 mile hike that can be done in either direction and has a little something for everyone including a cave, boulder field, cascade and waterfall. Then you have massive Watts Bar Lake which is only 20 minutes away with a plethora of activities including the excursions we offer!

This is a good base for day trips to Knoxville, Chattanooga, Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and Smoky Mountain National Park.

This Rv Resort is fantastic! It has updated facilities, a beautiful public pool, access to the water, and a very friendly staff. There is a restaurant on site that is open mainly on weekends. We had a great experience!

We got moved to #12, which was fine.
This is a full on river rat, class III and IV whitewater rafting, kayaking, etc place. We did not do either of those nor did we use the bath house facilities. They have a bar/restaurant/snack bar built around old school buses and live bands on Friday and Saturday night. We didn’t go listen to the bands, and we could only barely hear them from our spot (which was exactly what we asked for). We did get adult beverages our first night and fried pickles the second afternoon. It’s a campground so you're definitely pretty close to your neighbors, but not packed in like sardines like some campgrounds. It had a neat vibe with the bar, the music, and the rafters/kayakers hanging out. Our spot was fairly shaded. There were areas with zero shade and areas where you could barely see the sky. There were definitely some longtermers around. Tent camping, car camping, truck camping all the way up to high end rigs.
All in all, a nice campground!

Very good directions for how to get there! Excellent accommodation and a bathhouse with a full shower (be sure to conserve water, they truck their water in).

A little bit out in the country, but really nice place. The three RV sites are side by side but each has its own bench and firepit.
Easy to find with hosts directions, but a bit challenging to navigate backing in after dark. In the morning we saw that we probably could have turned around in the field instead of backing in.
Sorry it was just an overnight stay for us, but we did really enjoy the firefly show in the trees and hedges around our site.

Beautiful scenery. Our trailer fit easily. The grounds were pristine. Can’t wait to visit again in the Spring. This would be a beautiful spot to take littles too. Beach access to the water and they even have a pool.

This campsite is great! It is very spacious with great views. They have canoes and kayaks available to use and it’s great to get on the water for sunrise or sunset. Located close to some awesome outdoors areas like Suck Creek and Middle Creek. Highly recommend.

I love this campground. The benefits are numerous starting with the location to Nooga, the clean water of the river, farm fresh eggs right down the street, and last but not least, a wolf on sentry. Seriously, Ava is super sweet and the rest of the pack are apparently super social as well. The hosts are proud of their campground with good reason. There's a lot to offer here! Have fun with the time zones! Honestly, that kept us on our toes!

Nice campsites with picnic tables and fire pits. Plenty of trees for your hammock. Full hookups were nice. Pretty in the fall. Only drawback was the sites were a little tight and it took a few tries to get in. If you have a long trailer, it might be difficult.

A great place to Park an RV for a few days. Wide wooded lots. Peaceful and quiet area off the beaten path. Would definitely recommend Greeter Falls.

The property is beautiful and set up perfectly for visitors.
We had the “Eagles Nest” spot.
Great view of the river.
Only 5 spots so not overcrowded.
Clean, spacious, well maintained resort. Well recommended this resort to anybody.

The view from every RV site is incredible! The hosts did an amazing job with the property and the kids loved kayaking on the river and climbing up and down the rope on the rocks. It is also so close to downtown! We will definitely be back!
