This area is an old tobacco and cattle farm on a point above Laurel Lake. We do a bit of farming and crafting when we can and thought we’d try and share our lovely spot! Much of the timber on the place is nearly 100 years old hardwoods, with a couple of fields throughout. I camp here myself too, and can recommend it for privacy! Barnyard Staying overnight in our barnyard camper gives you the complete farm life experience. This area is an old tobacco and cattle farm on a point above Laurel Lake. We do a bit of farming and crafting when we can and thought we’d try and share our lovely spot! Much of the timber on the place is nearly 100 years old hardwoods, with a couple of fields throughout. I camp here myself too, and can recommend it for privacy! Learn more about this land: You can park an RV or trailer on these private sites within a 10min drive or short walk to Laurel Lake! Gravel roads to a field capable of holding up to two trailers with more planned in time! Primitive sites, Quiet n private. These sites are also within 10 mi of both London and Corbin Ky, with services available at both. Scenic Cumberland Falls is a short 25 min drive, and this place is adjacent to the Daniel Boone National Forest with plenty of hiking nearby.

We spent a few nights at the campsite while we explored the OHV trails and downhill mountain bike course at Windrock. The thought of tent camping in one of the huge gravel parking lots surrounded by throngs of people and the rattle of RV generators at one of the large campgrounds in the area held no appeal. This spot was peaceful and quiet, just what we were looking for. Extra bonus points for the burbling creek, the amazing assortment of birds that flew around us in the mornings, and quick and easy access to the trails. No conveniences at the site but $3.00 will buy you a shower at the Windrock Campground, and possibly other campgrounds around.

This spot was exactly the breath of fresh air I needed. The sites were beautifully maintained, the views were stunning, and the hosts were wonderfully communicative. I ended up extending my stay—twice! I even caught the northern lights during the solar flares, which made the whole experience feel magical. Sitting beside the creek was the perfect way to slow down and enjoy the day—it added a gentle rhythm to the whole trip. The location is peaceful yet close enough to town to be convenient. Highly recommend.

Build a camper out of a 1991 GMC box truck had to give it a shake down test of all systems and failures. Spent 26 days at this campground it's very nice and private, stayed @ # 2 site plenty of open space. The owners are great and very caring, also it's about 2 miles down the road for shopping with every restaurant chain and amenities I was completely blown away. Making upgrades and will return for another month of shake down testing, this vehicle is completely off grid it's being debug at this campground before bringing it to my mountain property with same condition. Site # 10 is beautiful and private.

It feels odd camping on the side of someone's driveway, however, youre within 12 minutes of a gas station and stores and it's so quiet! This was perfect. You can walk to the water and fish, the portapotty is close to all the camp sites and she gets them cleaned weekly. We drove our truck to the site and the person next to us had an SUV and we had zero trouble getting to site. Banks end looked like the best site since it has the whole end to itself and closest to the water. Sites are well separated and a good space for group camping! Lots of add ons offered by the host from eggs to fishing bait and she delivers your firewood. Close to Cumberland falls and was just an hour and a half drive from Knoxville for a weekend get away!
