For the extra adventurous - you may want to take a hike up "Thornbush Trail," which follows the ridge right up the middle of the property and has beautiful views of both meadows to either side. Or, for a more direct route, take a walk right up our dirt access road to the upper ridge, where you can peek through the treeline for beautiful elevated views eastward toward Columbia. Our treehouse (in progress) is located right at the top of the access road. Though the treehouse has not yet been completed, feel free to climb the 20' ladder up the inside of the hollowed out trunk and pop your head out the top! It sure makes a great photo! Come back to the barn area in the evening to lounge in the hammock, hang out around the picnic table, or cook dinner and roast some marshmallows over the wood burning fire pit with cooking grill attachment (fireside tools & 1 bundle of firewood provided). One filtered and cooled 5 gallon portable Igloo water cooler will also be provided and placed on the picnic table outside the barn. One rolling 96 gallon covered trash bin will be placed inside the barn (please bag your trash). "Luggable Loo" portable compost toilet is also available for use inside the barn. Tho cell & wifi are spotty here on the farm, we will provide one walkie talkie during your stay for direct communication with the main residence, should there be any issues or needs that arise. Weekend Trip to Wooded Nashville Nook

Elisabeths cute little spot is great! Directions were perfect, we had no trouble finding it in the dark. She has solar lights that line the space, so backing in was easy. The site is level, has a picnic table & fire pit with chairs set up. It was raining for our stay, so we did not use either…but would have if the weather was nicer. Walked our dog around the property area and up the road in the morning, which was not busy. This Hipcamp was perfect for our roadtrip and one night stop to check out Nashville.

Great area to explore and thankful for a safe location to park the rv with hookups. Jenny and Tim made everything feel like home. They were closeby and helpful when needed however allowed for privacy . The dogs were able to explore the field and be a little feral in nature.

this place was perfect for our 25ft rv and our dogs! they enjoyed the wide open space and were very interested in the goats and chickens. the space was a little less private than i would prefer but it wasn’t an issue at all. robert was very nice and attentive, we loved this site and will definitely be back!

Weekend Trip to Hostetler Homestead

We had another great trip to the Hostetler Homestead. The highlight is always the animals (goats, chickens, and turkeys, but also the barn cats and their dogs). We had a perfectly clear night that allowed us to enjoy the stars. We even caught the ISS flying over. Andy and Annie are great hosts and we look forward to more trips in the future!

I loved that Muletown Farm is off the beaten path. It is quiet, peaceful, and we enjoyed the animals and the firepit also. They offer full hook up, just a note, the sewer is not on site, you will need to unhook and drive to the sewer to dump your tanks. We did have a small issue with that as we need a 14' clearance and there were tree branches that were in the way. Within 2 days they had someone come and cut them back. Communication was great, we would definitely stay here again.

Nice and secluded area aside from the neighbors house which wasn't a problem at all. There were some nice kids riding dirtbikes and fourwheelers and I love to see kids out having fun outside instead of sitting inside on electronics. We would definitely stay here again!

Had a great time tent camping at the ranch :-) The hosts were super helpful and friendly and we loved meeting all the animals. Two of the dogs decided to be our sidekicks as we took a scenic path to the creek and packed down our camp. Very special weekend!

We enjoyed this site. Google told us the wrong drive so make sure you choose the drive with the clearly marked sign. The farm was so pretty and quiet and we loved looking at the chickens and the horse.

8 nights at Wooded Nashville Nook

Perfect balance between staying on a really cute site, with a rural feel, while also having rapid access to Nashville and all it offers (and it offers so much). Off to the side (and across a small bridge) from a really attractive home the site is both private from it and benefits from water and electric hook up. The campsite neatly marked by solar lights making an after dark arrival very straightforward. And while we never met the hosts their App communication was excellent. If pulling a trailer I would approach from the direction the hosts suggest, as the second approach option, as backing in off the road is made easier from this angle. Anyhow, perfect spot which we would use again.

I had a wonderful experience at Peekaboo Meadows & The Big Red Barn. I only needed a place to park for a couple of nights, but the setting was perfect; private, flat, solid ground to park on, fire ring, chairs, water, etc. all exactly as Matthew described, and communication with the host was prompt, detailed and easy. If I'm back in the area I will 100% camp here again.
