We are located on 11 acres. Wooded areas, hiking trails on-site. Perfect place to watch for deer and other animals including our 8 on-leash dogs! It is a train lover's dream because we are close to the tracks and enjoy watching the train come and go so much so that the conductor toots and waves to us!! The Santee State Park has many water activities, picnic areas, and hiking trails. There are several golf courses nearby, and a local restaurant/bar within walking distance which often offers trivia, karaoke, pool tables, and live music. We have a Zebu bull, which are the oldest recorded bovine in history, dating back to the Bible.

My property used to be the disposal site for the CocaCola bottling Company. Go on a scavenger hunt and find old bottles. Relax around the fire pit and listen to owls, wild geese, bull frogs and the Quack Pack. Lounge on the spacious deck overlooking all the farm animals or take a dip in the swimming pool.
At night grill on the BBQ or have an oyster roast.
We do have an indoor toilet for you to use and an outdoor shower.
Go for a walk through the woods, do yoga, head to Hunting Island beach which is 10 miles or drive 3 miles to historic downtown Beaufort. We are also close to Parris Island and many other historical sites.
While here you can enjoy historical tours of Beaufort County’s earliest years of the Santa Helena colony in the mid 1600’s, the revolutionary war period, the pre-civil war and plantation time period and the antebellum, reconstruction history up to the Civil Rights visits of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. at the Historic Penn Center.
The Lowcountry is great for water sports, kayaking, boating, jet skiing, sailing, hiking and canoeing.
Each season offers an opportunity to participate in fishing, crabbing, shrimping or digging for oysters in local waters.
Our area is a favorite of cyclist groups, the long, flat, rural, scenic, roads offer pleasant riding experiences for cyclist of all ability levels.
There are bike lanes on many of the major roads.
Other recreational activities in our area are geocaching, horseback riding, tennis, golf, hiking, beach volleyball, beachcombing, and birdwatching.

The bathroom is private. It is VERY IMPORTANT that only toilet paper goes in the toilet. We have a super sensitive septic system. We have a small trashcan for any feminine products etc. You have your own parking spot and there is a short 30 foot trail to your yurt. Food and restaurants are very nearby in town and I provide a complete list of all my recommendations.For guests who stay in the Sandcastle, there is an outdoor shower, a pool, Also, a kitchenette and grill, fridge, sink, and personal fire pit are available for your use.We have an aquaponic pond with koi that feed our hydroponic vegetable garden and multiple bee hives that pollinate everything. What a gorgeous farm! The pigs and fowl were so sweet, and the nanny goat seemed to like us! Emily and I were so so happy and honored to find such a special place! We would love to come back again when we can spend more time and learn about the farm’s history and actually meet you all. Thank you for setting everything up. It was perfect.

We really enjoyed staying at Debra's. They let us put our tent up back in the thick stand of trees. It was nice and private and we even were able to park our RAV4 back there. They were super hospitable. We will definitely stay there again next time we go through!

Lovely little campground with a nice walking trail, clean restrooms and laundry. We spent one day at Santee State Park and another at Congeree National Forest which were within 40 minutes. The animals are clean, well cared for and a delight to meet.

This was our third time staying at Outside Inn. We love this campground so much. We stay on our way to & from Florida every winter from Virginia. We stayed for Christmas this time. It’s one if not our favorite place to stay. It’s always so clean & quiet. Very peaceful & everyone is super nice, welcoming & helpful. The animals are the sweetest & it just has that warm, farm life vibe. We look forward to staying again next winter.

Very welcoming! We needed some place affordable to put up some hammocks for some sleep on a long drive. Offered water, told us to come knock if we needed anything. For our family the price was right to keep us safe. I wish we had time to stay longer. The stars were beautiful. Yes you can hear the road so if that bothers your sleep easily bring some earplugs.

My family stayed two nights at the magnolia site. The site was clean and tent safe, we didn't need a tarp to protect the bottom from small brush or rocks. There was a nice camping toilet that was clean and right on site. Only interacted with host to buy eggs for breakfast but that was our choice, the host was friendly and I'm sure wouldn't mind more interaction if a camper needed it. Love the fact that they are a small farm providing non commercial goods to their community. We felt safe and secure in this site. Remember that this is a working farm and there will be farm noises. Thank you for hosting us.

I highly recommend this spot for camping. The setting, especially along the river, is stunning, the campsites large and flat, and the farm/woods setting is nice to explore. They put a lot of work into the showers and bathrooms. My dog and I really enjoyed our stay.

I always enjoy camping here. The site is private and and adding on firewood saves space in the car. I brought new friends this time and they loved it. Meg is always very responsive. I will continue to come back every year.
