We bought this Airstream in 2022 as an old shell. It was junky and a mess, and not much in it other than old scraps and junk. We renovated it in 2022 and 2023, and turned it into a cozy, midcentury modern style Glamper. We tried to plan for every comfort you could want or need, from wifi and a smart TV, to a cute bathroom, Keurig and an Air Fryer. We hope you love it as much as we do. Please note, it is tight quarters, especially for more than two people and large framed people. For this reason, we only allow two guests. We live on a busy street, but the backyard is peaceful and serene. The airstream is parked next to our creek, where waterfowl abound. Only one vehicle allowed.

Bug spray is highly encouraged during warmer months.

My property used to be the disposal site for the CocaCola bottling Company. Go on a scavenger hunt and find old bottles. At night grill on the BBQ or have an oyster roast.

Go for a walk through the woods, do yoga, head to Hunting Island beach which is 10 miles or drive 3 miles to historic downtown Beaufort. We are also close to Parris Island and many other historical sites.
While here you can enjoy historical tours of Beaufort County’s earliest years of the Santa Helena colony in the mid 1600’s, the revolutionary war period, the pre-civil war and plantation time period and the antebellum, reconstruction history up to the Civil Rights visits of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. at the Historic Penn Center.
The Lowcountry is great for water sports, kayaking, boating, jet skiing, sailing, hiking and canoeing.
Each season offers an opportunity to participate in fishing, crabbing, shrimping or digging for oysters in local waters.
Our area is a favorite of cyclist groups, the long, flat, rural, scenic, roads offer pleasant riding experiences for cyclist of all ability levels.
There are bike lanes on many of the major roads.

Liz's property is very clean and well maintained. The beautiful landscape consists of a lean-to with a rocking chair and a very nice fire pit. It was surround by trees and bamboo. The area was not as quiet as expected as the site is close to the road. It may have been because of the holidays, but there were a lot of sirens, dogs barking and gun shots. We're from the country, so used to the noises, but not expecting such heavy traffic noise. We were unsure of the property lines, so didn't roam very far out with our two dogs. There were also other driveways from the property, so we were not sure which trashcan we were to use. We brought our trash home with us to dispose of properly. The instructions indicate there is no road sign, but there was a new sign up to help navigate us to the proper site. The location is very easy to find.
We had to buy an extended hose for our black tank. There was one available at the property, but unfortunately, it did not fit the ones we have. We used 3 total as the septic is further away from the electrical and water hookups. We were perfectly centralized between Charleston and Savannah and the live oak trees with the Spanish moss were absolutely gorgeous throughout the area. Beaufort is a cute little town and the people seemed very friendly.
We would definitely visit Liz again. She has a beautiful set up for a short term stay while visiting the area.

My group of three (and pups) loved camping out at Capt. John’s place! It was such a peaceful location with breathtaking views. It’s the perfect location to take in the Carolina sunrise and sunset. The bathhouse was a great amenity to have. Capt. John was a standup host who was quick to respond to any and all questions. Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful place to take in coastal nature. We will certainly be back!

We had a wonderful stay on James’s property. James was a great host. Met us upon arrival and made sure we had what we needed. Since we didn’t need hookups, he let us choose our own spot, which made the experience even better as we were able to camp closer to the water. The land is beautiful, wooded and surrounded by water and a pond on site. It’s a really unique setting: you feel completely tucked away in the woods, yet the moment you leave the property you’re in a neighborhood and only a short drive from downtown and all the essentials. We’d absolutely recommend this spot, especially for anyone who enjoys boondocking!

The location on Google maps is accurate, but to find the last stretch you have to offroad a bit. RAV4s can get in all day, but I'd be worried about sportier sedans. The 5 sites are pretty much next to each other in a forested area. Has an outhouse (vault toilet) and a porta potty. They also have firewood for sale on site which is nice. Overall pretty bare-bones for a campsite but gets the job done and location is great!

The land itself is stunning—peaceful, spacious, and perfectly maintained. Our dogs were in heaven! They had all the freedom they needed to run, explore, and get plenty of exercise, which made the trip even more enjoyable for us.

This location is unreal and a true gem. Stunning water views and incredible stargazing. Care is put into this site - from the cleared camping space, dedicated fire pit and picnic table, and the well equipped outhouse (towels, toiletries, bug spray, water bottles, organic gummy bears - you name it). This site truly exceeded our expectations and we can’t wait to come back.

Had such a great stay here, I don’t think the pictures do it justice! Very private, beautiful views and the best Hipcamp bathroom I have ever experienced by a mile. By 10 miles! I really appreciated and was impressed by the included towels and extra toiletries offered. I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking to camp in the Beaufort area. We drove up from Jacksonville and it was well worth the trip, thanks for a great stay!

Very relaxing secluded site very much like state or provincial campgrounds next to the river delta. Took an early morning walk around the field watching the morning mist move over the morning dew-covered grass.
Full hookups for sewer, water, and 50/30/20 amp electrical.
Within a gated area next to a large field with an eclectic assemblage of farm machinery and boats.
Left very relaxed.
