This was a beautiful spot to camp! We loved hanging out by the pond in the Adirondack chairs. No one was camping at the other site when we were there but the sites were spread out and private so we would have still have our own space if there had been. In addition to a picnic table, fire pit, and chairs, there was also a hose and a place to charge phones or other devices, which was a nice touch. The hosts were very friendly and so were their dogs!

1 night at Sweetwater Lake Campground

I enjoyed staying at Sweetwater. It was a beautiful site with lots of songbirds and friendly campers. The site was as described and the hosts were helpful. Lots of history at Sweetwater that I found interesting. Sweetwater Lake Campground has been in the family for 3 generations and it is in the process of being upgraded. Expect more glamping tents and other things soon. I would camp here again.

We camped for 10 nights. Very quiet other than the birds singing. We enjoyed visiting with our children and grandchildren who all live in the area. Our host, James, was very nice and accommodating. Our campsite was a mix of sun and shade. The kids had a great time kayaking and fishing in Big Creek which borders part of the property. It was like camping in the middle of the woods, but close to the little town of Saluda. Thank you James. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Great experience camping at Utopia Farm. Ray and Cindy are easy going and a pleasure to chat with. We love the horses, so very friendly. Goats are a riot! They we’re interested in what we were doing (Overlanding). We love sharing our adventures with those who are interested. Looking forward to seeing them again and highly recommend camping here!

What a cute place! Nestled in the quiet countryside, cute farm animals to pet, easy in and out pull through layout of the campground. Extra bonus of farm fresh eggs and Clair's baked goods! The bath house was amazingly clean and well appointed - just like a nice hotel bathroom!

Michael's land is so peaceful! The soft pine needle floor of the wooded areas are beautiful. The available bathroom, kitchen, and sitting area was a complete plus, and. I didn't realize it was as user ready as it was !!! The outside of the house did have a bit of spooky look to it, lol, but it's charm and convenience made up for it for sure. It's a perfect half way stop for solo drivers making the trek from WV to southern Florida. My Great Dane loved being able to walk around to stretch is legs while checking out the beautiful surroundings. We'll be back!

An outhouse with composting toilet, potable water, picnic table, grill, fire pit, fire wood and trash can are provided. Rosewood Farm and Agripark is my home. I honestly had about the most amazing childhood one could have on this very land! We hunted, fished, made mud pies and played outside for hours, as long as we were in shouting distance for supper time! I am so fortunate to be the daughter of two amazing parents, who had a dream to build a working farm from nothing more than a logging trail in the woods. They built a 3 story, 10,000 square foot house by themselves- while raising a family! We have 200 acres of farmland that features rolling hills, multiple ponds, creeks, farm animals, show horses and countless wildlife viewing opportunities. Wild turkey and deer roam free all over the farm, coveys of dove fly out from the pastures and trails, and coyotes howl in the night. Listen to the frogs croaking, crickets chirping and whipporwhills calling every evening under a magical blanket of stars. Take a nature hike through the trails that meander through the woods around the park. Our newest venture is to offer primitive camping and some cabin rentals around our 60 acre Agripark! For those wanting to step it up a notch, we have erected a large concrete floor, covered event barn (for parties, family reunions, weddings, cowboy church, etc..,) and also a huge petting zoo barn with an area behind it for pony rides and 4-h/FFA functions. Also, a greenhouse is being erected next, that will teach people about aquaponics and hydroponics! Many things are on the immediate horizon for this special property. While we are under heavy construction at the moment in some areas of the park, many amenities are currently available. Why not unplug from the daily grind and spend time with those that matter most? My goal is to make this land as magical for your family as it has been for mine!
