Weekend Trip to Harmony Glen

June greeted us along with her furry friends. The land was gorgeous to walk around on. Wish we could've stayed more than 1 night but would look this place up to stay again. One thing to note on the driveway, we have a 23 ft RV and it was narrow for us with a tall leaning tree on one side and bushes.

This was our first time booking through Hipcamp and it exceeded our expectations! The campsites had everything you needed and were well maintained with the creek right behind. The entire property was beautiful and the hosts were lovely! They brought out fresh eggs in the morning and had fresh firewood available right at the sites. We will definitely be returning and highly recommend to everyone!

We loved our stay at Melissa’s camp site! It was very clean and each spot has direct access to the creek. The owners provide fresh eggs every morning. They were wonderful host. We will definitely be staying again!

Great place to camp. Tent or trailers etc this place would work great for either. We had rain when we were there but thankfully Melissa allowed us to move sites to one with a large car port covering which worked out great. Otherwise we would have been stuck in car/tent all night! Instead we were able to hang out outside under cover. Creek view and creek sound is awesome. Bathhouse clean. Definitely plan to come back.

Such a beautiful site and hidden gem. Very peaceful surrounded by trees and lake views. The host went out of her way to help us jumpstart our car even when we had battery issues. Would come back and nearby to Athens.

3 nights at Little River Hideaway

Not a bad spot with full hookups, wi-fi, and convenient to a nice area in the mountains. We visited some waterfalls and the town of Brevard on our stay. We didn’t quite expect to be visibly right next to a house through a small patch of trees, but the neighbors were extremely quiet and we didn't even know they were there. We even parked our truck so as to block the view of the house. Being that it was spring , there was a little activity in the community garden across the small entrance, but nothing bothersome. Our first night, we enjoyed a stroll through it to see all the pretty little garden “lots”. The stream down the little path is also pretty, but there’s not much hang out room, so we didn’t find ourselves down there much. We did enjoy having the picnic table on site and the host had great communication via Hipcamp, I felt like if we needed anything they would be responsive. If we wanted to return to the area, we would definitely stay again.

What a gem! This is my third time camping here, and I can’t wait to return. The sites are so spread out you practically feel like you have the place to yourself. The views of the mountains, vineyards, and lakes are beautiful and the property is in an excellent location- only 20 minutes from Clayton and close to the Chattooga. Directions were perfect- easy to follow.

June has a wonderful spot to camp or park a small rv. As an FYI, I have a tall roof long wheelbase Sprinter, and I wouldn't suggest trying to fit anything any bigger down the driveway.

Let’s start with the list of what I didn’t like: 1. the toilet paper roll was on backwards Now for things I loved: 1. there was toilet paper 2. there was a toilet… 3. in a very nice bathhouse 3. the trails were perfect for our dogs 4. the hot tub was super clean 5. there was convenient power I could go on. It was a really nice site, not far from a convenient store, but with ample privacy and many glamping features. Definitely a great choice!

Property History: Coweeta Creek Campground WAS a 20 site, thriving, family/church oriented campground from the 1970's that was later sold, then neglected.
