Neal Creek Primitive camping by the creek is located on private property. The two large campsites are approximately 300 feet apart and are located right beside the running creek. Plenty of shaded area's. We have a 6-8 person tent available to rent as well! Learn more about this land: We are only 1/2 a mile from the Interstate 85. So bring your tents, campers or your small RV and come and setup down by the babbling creek. If you don't have or own a tent, we have a large 6-8 person tent available for a small rental fee too. Build a nice fire in the fire pit. The firewood and kindling is provided. The campsites are semi-wooded areas with plenty of shade. They are very large private, peaceful and quiet sites. View the stars at night, play in the creek during the day or if you are into biking or hiking, go to the Overmountain Victory trail located about 15 minutes away and enjoy the 6.7 mile loop around Lake Whelchel right off I-85. Local attractions: Biking, Hiking, Climbing and Horse trails - Kings Mtn National Park, Kings Mtn State Park, Crowder's Mtn State Park, Overmountain Victory Trail Segment - Lake Whelchel. Having been written up countless times across the southeast, US and more recently featured on The Today Show, the farm just keeps growing and getting better. With a history of growing sweet juicy apples, the soil in this part of the world has proven to be excellent for peaches, muscadines, scuppernongs, and blueberries. Rosewood Farm and Agripark is my home. I honestly had about the most amazing childhood one could have on this very land! We hunted, fished, made mud pies and played outside for hours, as long as we were in shouting distance for supper time! I am so fortunate to be the daughter of two amazing parents, who had a dream to build a working farm from nothing more than a logging trail in the woods. They built a 3 story, 10,000 square foot house by themselves- while raising a family! We have 200 acres of farmland that features rolling hills, multiple ponds, creeks, farm animals, show horses and countless wildlife viewing opportunities. Wild turkey and deer roam free all over the farm, coveys of dove fly out from the pastures and trails, and coyotes howl in the night. Listen to the frogs croaking, crickets chirping and whipporwhills calling every evening under a magical blanket of stars. Take a nature hike through the trails that meander through the woods around the park. Our newest venture is to offer primitive camping and some cabin rentals around our 60 acre Agripark! For those wanting to step it up a notch, we have erected a large concrete floor, covered event barn (for parties, family reunions, weddings, cowboy church, etc..,) and also a huge petting zoo barn with an area behind it for pony rides and 4-h/FFA functions. Also, a greenhouse is being erected next, that will teach people about aquaponics and hydroponics! Many things are on the immediate horizon for this special property. While we are under heavy construction at the moment in some areas of the park, many amenities are currently available. Why not unplug from the daily grind and spend time with those that matter most? Beautiful location with a view of Table Rock located in the Historic Oolenoy Valley. Our property is located in Northern Pickens Co. of South Carolina. Plenty of trails, boating, biking in the area or just sit under your awning and enjoy the wildlife. Important please read! There is not evening shade in July and August, However, there are shady spots very close to the camp site that you can enjoy. Where your camper sits the Sun goes down at the front of the camper. It is typically not an issue until mid-July and August. If you need additional details, please contact me. There are two homes near the camp site. The one behind the site is our home. Just me and my wife, currently no pets. The other home is a small white farmhouse that I currently rent to close friends. Chris and his wife and two well behaved kids. The kind of neighbors' people dream of! In five years of renting this site I have only had one couple that felt uncomfortable with the homes on our driveway. Our stay here was wonderful! The land is absolutely gorgeous, the cabin is well stocked with almost everything you need, and Katie and her husband are just so pleasant and kind! My boys loved meeting the animals, kayaking on the pond, and telling stories around the fire! We would love to come out again sometime for a longer period of time! Highly recommend!!

Second time visiting with my Dalmation. Katie and hubby super hosts. Cabin is very well done for a small space. The live edge cabinetry is superb. BRIAN (DALMATION) LOVES BEING OFF LEASH! If you need your modern accouterments, we'll, there is none. Truly a place of tranquility. Horses at a section of pasture are cute "bring carrots " will be back when it is time to unwind again!

We really enjoyed the distillery and the hospitality there. However, the campsites are not ready for use yet. Ours was right next to the pump house andhad a water pump in the middle of the site making it more difficult to navigate a very small site. It was also very muddy/mucky. No access to bathrooms except a one hole outhouse about a fourth of a mile away. No dump station. all of this was mentioned in their write up, which I should’ve paid closer attention to. This is a relatively new set up for them and I believe it has great potential once it is better developed.

Weekend Trip to KALEIDOSCOPE FARM - Nature!

Stephanie was great! She was very responsive in her communication with us, and prepared the campsite prior to our arrival. Her instructions were easy to follow as well. The campsite is plenty large enough for everyone in a group to find a place to set up, but was also just fine for the two of us and our dogs (who could run off leash!). Only drawback was the road noise throughout the day and periodically throughout the night. It wasn’t a big deal for us, but could be for some.

I had the best time! This was my first ever camping trip, and it was perfect. It's just off of the interstate and easy to find. Camping are was open to the sky and immaculate. Big metal fire ring with more free chopped firewood than I could have used in a week! Cute wooden swing with cup holders in front of the fire pit with a large picnic table, too. Rustic bathroom with great big spigot next to it. The camp also had all the little important extras free to use like a broom, toilet paper, kindling, etc. It was wonderful listening to the stream and hearing all of nature at sunrise and sunset. Thanks for sharing such a beautiful, safe space!!!

Weekend Trip to Camp Hartwell

This site is extremely private and quite remote. It was nice having a porta-potty, but be aware that the space may be overgrown. We enjoyed being out by ourselves with just the birds and butterflies!
