*****ACTUAL ADDRESS IS LOT 31 NORTH LAKEVIEW DR., FAIR PLAY, SC 29643***** When at 602 Pine Knoll Dr., Fair Play, SC you can see North Lakeview Dr. It's a small dirt road with a street sign about 20 yards further off Riverbend Rd. Go back about 100 yards and driveway is at end to the left. HipCamp can't find address on their mapping system. sorry/thanks *****PLEASE DON'T USE HIPCAMP MAP*****(HipCamp is not able to list more than one map per owner, we have 4 camps) "Camp Hartwell" is a secluded site with close access to the Community Lakefront Site and dock on Lake Hartwell in Fairplay, SC. "Hickory Forest" is our Premier Site; fire pit, grates, large benches. "Out Door Shower / Changing 2.0" will not disappoint! 20 minutes off Route 85. in Fairplay, SC. About 20 minutes to Seneca, SC and 20 minutes to Livonia, GA. LAKE HARTWELL is part of the chain of Lakes on the Savannah River. Duke Energy owns and maintains the water level on the lakes to produce hydro power. Just a beautiful setting with calm waters and all kinds of hidden branches of the lake to boat, fish, and explore. The entire area is teeming with a rural South Carolina flare. Even for "non campers"; pay us a visit, have a campfire, hike or fish off the community dock. The Community Lake Front Site offers fire pits, deck, dock to fish, swim, kayak from. The Community Site is approximately 1/8 mi away; can drive or walk. Lots of wild life including deer, turkeys, birds etc. The song birds at sun up and sun set are significant! Hickory trees abound and nuts drop Sept./Oct. Options for parking boat at community dock need to be discussed in advance. Camp Hartwell

It is a primitive site, but it offers plenty of space—we had no trouble fitting our small trailer and a large 6-person tent with room to spare. The site felt uncluttered and open. Having a dedicated bench was a nice touch for relaxing, and the fire pit was ready for use. If you’re looking for a quiet, spacious spot to unhook and enjoy the outdoors, this is a fantastic choice. We loved all the different types of wildlife and flowers.

This site is extremely private and quite remote. It was nice having a porta-potty, but be aware that the space may be overgrown. We enjoyed being out by ourselves with just the birds and butterflies!

Nice quiet place in a private location. The neighbors is great if you get lost or need an extra push in what direction to go as a friend and I did. I would stay there again.
