Edenhope Farms is nestled on 6 acres and is a sanctuary for rescued and unique animals. We have a Zebu bull, which are the oldest recorded bovine in history, dating back to the Bible. We have goats and peacocks, chickens, a potbellied pig, rescued squirrels, and rescued ducks. Soon to come.... Sheep!!! My property used to be the disposal site for the CocaCola bottling Company. Go on a scavenger hunt and find old bottles. Relax around the fire pit and listen to owls, wild geese, bull frogs and the Quack Pack. Lounge on the spacious deck overlooking all the farm animals or take a dip in the swimming pool. At night grill on the BBQ or have an oyster roast. We do have an indoor toilet for you to use and an outdoor shower. Go for a walk through the woods, do yoga, head to Hunting Island beach which is 10 miles or drive 3 miles to historic downtown Beaufort. We are also close to Parris Island and many other historical sites. While here you can enjoy historical tours of Beaufort County’s earliest years of the Santa Helena colony in the mid 1600’s, the revolutionary war period, the pre-civil war and plantation time period and the antebellum, reconstruction history up to the Civil Rights visits of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. at the Historic Penn Center. The Lowcountry is great for water sports, kayaking, boating, jet skiing, sailing, hiking and canoeing. Each season offers an opportunity to participate in fishing, crabbing, shrimping or digging for oysters in local waters. Our area is a favorite of cyclist groups, the long, flat, rural, scenic, roads offer pleasant riding experiences for cyclist of all ability levels. There are bike lanes on many of the major roads. Other recreational activities in our area are geocaching, horseback riding, tennis, golf, hiking, beach volleyball, beachcombing, and birdwatching. Liz's property is very clean and well maintained. The beautiful landscape consists of a lean-to with a rocking chair and a very nice fire pit. It was surround by trees and bamboo. The area was not as quiet as expected as the site is close to the road. It may have been because of the holidays, but there were a lot of sirens, dogs barking and gun shots. We're from the country, so used to the noises, but not expecting such heavy traffic noise. We were unsure of the property lines, so didn't roam very far out with our two dogs. There were also other driveways from the property, so we were not sure which trashcan we were to use. We brought our trash home with us to dispose of properly. The instructions indicate there is no road sign, but there was a new sign up to help navigate us to the proper site. The location is very easy to find. We had to buy an extended hose for our black tank. There was one available at the property, but unfortunately, it did not fit the ones we have. We used 3 total as the septic is further away from the electrical and water hookups. We were perfectly centralized between Charleston and Savannah and the live oak trees with the Spanish moss were absolutely gorgeous throughout the area. Beaufort is a cute little town and the people seemed very friendly. We would definitely visit Liz again. She has a beautiful set up for a short term stay while visiting the area.

I will be back. The site was well maintained. Firewood is easily accessible if you pay for it, which was also super convenient. Very little to no light pollution or sound. Spaces are wide enough to feel private and the site is easy to find. The owner is very responsive. I definitely look forward to our next visit.

I appreciate the opportunity to camp at Montanna's HipCamp. The primary purpose of my visit was to camp and sleep in a safe place while I was participating in a lottery draw hunting trip at nearby Coosawhatchie WMA. Montanna provided clear and accurate directions to the property prior to my arrival. He also gave me a heads up concerning the rough road conditions leading to his property. I arrived later than I had planned but had no problems getting to gate at the property. It was dark and raining but the gated access was easily easily entered. I pulled in and drove down the fence line to the designated camp site, turned my truck around and parked on level ground. His wife came out and greeted me, gave me a quick but thorough orientation to the amenities. I met Montanna the next evening after returning from my days hunt. He showed me "The Man Cave" and I have to say that it is indeed impressive. I won't spoil the surprise with details but it brought back many happy boyhood memories. Montanna took his passion from a boyhood hobby and turned it into a passionate, professional and lucrative adult hobby that he is proud to share with those fortunate to be invited in. Since I was primarily there to hunt for 3 chilly and rainy days, I did not experience the other amenities available. I did see the nice duck pond, the tire swing hanging from the oak trees, the fire pit and picnic area and an extra bonus of hearing 3 Barred Owls talking during the night. I would love to return again

The property was spotlessly clean, (especially the portapot), very private, and wonderfully quiet. Highly recommend buying the excellent firewood—burns great and made the stay even cozier. My family stayed two nights at the magnolia site. The site was clean and tent safe, we didn't need a tarp to protect the bottom from small brush or rocks. There was a nice camping toilet that was clean and right on site. Only interacted with host to buy eggs for breakfast but that was our choice, the host was friendly and I'm sure wouldn't mind more interaction if a camper needed it. Love the fact that they are a small farm providing non commercial goods to their community. We felt safe and secure in this site. Remember that this is a working farm and there will be farm noises. Thank you for hosting us.

If I could live here, I would. As it is, I’ll just visit while I can! The IGA is 6 min away but when you’re there it’s 600 miles away. There is wildlife and neighbors. My only complaint is I’ve discovered I’m allergic to no-see-ems and they live here. So strong bug repellent, but if you have a problem with that, camping isn’t for you anyway :D

We had amazing time tent camping here. We got to meet Steve and April as they brought wood to our campsite when we first arrived and they were very kind and answered all our questions. They told us all about the budding vineyard visible from the campsites and how it will soon support a winery that will be opening next year. We were lucky enough to be able to try a few of their wines and they were all delicious. We'll definitely be coming to visit the winery once it opens up! The camp sites were all well mentioned and felt safe and secluded. There was plenty of firewood available to purchase and the porta potty was clean and centrally located. My wife and I explored the property a bit with our dog and it was very nice. The sunset view of the marsh at the far edge of the property was absolutely gorgeous and it was really cool to be able to walk around the vineyard and check out that area of the campsite. We will definitely be coming back to camp here regularly!

The weather was 70s in the day and 40s at night and the bugs were only out for a couple hours in the morning and in the afternoon. Firewood was dry and well stocked, for 10$ a night. Great place, great hosts, will save the location for future getaways.

1 night at Cassabl Farm

Great set up. Nice new picnic tables, all the wood you want for $10. They even had solar sting lights for you to use. My only pit was noise from the surrounding area. Very convenient to I-95.
