We had the place to ourselves so it was very quiet with an amazing view of the salt marsh. We’re expecting the bathroom to be so amazing…spotless with shower, hot water, flush toilet, sink…. What a nice surprise! The whole place is well taken care of. Although an hour from the credit one stadium, we will definitely be coming back here for the next concert!

Our site was very nice gravel, level and easy to access. We had electric, water and Wi-Fi (didn’t use). I was camping after all !!!! Liz responded quickly to any questions and offered some helpful local information. She has acres and told us we could walk our dog anywhere. She is in a great location. It was a short easy drive to Beaufort as well as the various sea islands. The area is beautiful with tons of history. We are already talking about our return trip. Thank you so much, Liz!

It was an absolutely excellent experience and a wonderful weekend getaway. You’re about 2 miles from downtown and walk around tourism and 12 to 14 miles from toes in the sand on the beach. Best all around, quiet, isolated, and convenient. One house and a heavy tree line separate you from 98% of any possible road noise. There is 50 and 30 amp plus 110 hook ups on the pole along with water, sewer, and Wi-Fi on the site. The tree cover was very good without completely blocking any sunshine. We experienced 92° and our single air conditioner had no problems keeping up with a 30 foot camper.

It was what I hoped for, quiet, isolated and beautiful marsh views…. Johnathan answered any asks, promptly. My son my self and nephew were all cool with the choice… absolutely recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay at Lowcountry Live Oaks. Great location for us, just minutes away from Beaufort, restaurants and multiple boat ramps. A large, level, well shaded, private site with full hook up and enough gravel parking for our 2 vehicles, camper and boat. Liz is a great Host, good, clear instructions and quick to respond to questions. We hope to return and enjoy another stay at Lowcountry Live Oaks . Karen

We really enjoyed staying at this property. It was nice and private and within close driving distance to beaufort. Liz gave lots of good suggestions for things to do and places to see. We would love to come back as we simply ran out of time to do everything we wanted to do. If we get the chance to return this would be our first choice.

Wow, what an incredible find! This place is a total gem if you’re looking for peace, privacy, and jaw-dropping marsh views. It’s super secluded and quiet—perfect for unplugging and soaking in the beauty of nature. The sunrises and sunsets? Absolutely stunning, like something out of a painting. The bathroom outhouse blew me away—it’s honestly nicer than facilities I’ve seen in some fancy hotels! If you opt for the bathhouse add-on, it’s straight-up rustic glamping done right. The host was awesome, super friendly, quick to respond, and made everything so easy. It’s a bit of a drive to Beaufort or other spots, but trust me, the tranquility and privacy make it 100% worth it. The area feels safe, clean, and well-maintained, with quiet neighbors a few acres away. The road to Bennetts Point was smooth and recently fixed up, so getting there was no hassle at all. I’m already looking forward to my next stay—this place is special, and I can’t recommend it enough for anyone craving a peaceful escape!

Short trip for us, but great enjoyed the location and access to lots of activities around Beaufort. Site was clean and connections were easy.

We had a great stay here. Peaceful and quiet but close to attractions such as the beach, downtown Beaufort and Parris Island to name a few. Level granite stone pad with 30/50 amp hookups. Water pressure was good and sewer is also available. Our 28 foot travel trailer with opposing slides fit fine with plenty of room to spare.

Wendy was extremely nice and helpful when we first arrived and showed us where to set up our tent along the River bank.

Beautiful property amazing views lots of wildlife and great location. Lawrence is a very friendly and helpful host. Definitely recommend.

Excellent spot along the River. Loved having the fire pit right along the water. Although there is the occasional boater putting their boat in at the ramp, it was otherwise quiet and would definitely come back again!

6 nights at Lowcountry Live Oaks.

We had a great time visiting Beaufort. The campsite is in a good central location to lots of attractions and history. It is not a destination campsite, but a great private spot to stretch out with plenty of room. A little tight to get in and out with larger campers. But doable. Host were helpful without being overbearing. We enjoyed and would not hesitate to stay again. Thanks

The site was nice and peaceful. The views of the marsh and river during sunset were to die for. The bathhouse was beautiful and well maintained. Can't wait to experience fall and winter camping here as well. Palm Corner is now on my list of favorite spots and I will definitely be returning again. Highly recommend.

We had a great stay. The only problem was when we arrived the breaker panel was tripped on their power source. My husband quickly reset it. Other than that no issues. Large trees around so be cautious of storms and awnings, etc.

I really enjoyed my stay here. This is a very unique property with views of the marsh and Ashepoo river. It was very quiet and peaceful, the only sounds I heard were birds and a few airplanes. Bathroom /shower was very nice, Lots of areas close by for fishing/hiking/birdwatching. If you want to venture out, Bear Island Wildlife Management area is a few minutes down the road, and Botany Bay and Edisto Beach are about an hour drive. B&B seafood market, just a miles away, is a great place to pick up fresh shrimp and fish to cook at the campsite. Jonathan was great and I highly recommend his land to anyone looking to stay in the area.

We had a wonderful week at Liz & Kasey’s Hipcamp. Quiet but still close to everything. Our pups had the run of the property. Would definitely recommend. We would definetly stay again. Great host!

We have our home on the backside of the property but are more than willing to share our beautiful spot for travelers that may need a place to stay to visit Beaufort or Parris Island or even an overflow spot when Hunting Island cannot accommodate you every day. Learn more about this land: Private, semi-woodsy, Level site with water, septic, and electricity, can accommodate up to 60' Diesel Pushers, and 5th wheels. We have 30 amp and 50 amp for larger campers, as well as your Internet for the site. The Atlantic Ocean is 12 miles away if you want to visit the beautiful Hunting Island.
