Our horse farm is located in one of the most rural areas of Southern New Jersey. This land was once occupied by The Lanape Tribe. The adjacent creek was named after Chief Alloway. Artifacts of Native Americans have been found alongside this brackish water creek. This farm was for many years a dairy farm which was passed on for 3 generations until the late 80's. Our main horse breeds are 5 Arabians followed by 2 Thoroughbreds and 2 miniature ponies. In addition to horses you will see free range rabbits, chickens and beautiful cows. There are many antique shops in this area which tell the rich History of Southern NJ. Cowen mall and Royal Port are my two favorites. Another must see experience (at least once) in the area is The Cowtown Rodeo, one of the first and oldest in the country, only 14 minutes drive. Our 2 and a half acre property is situated in a very rural quiet area. The Wickecheoke creek, a tributary of the Delaware, runs through the property. There is a private seating area for serene enjoyment and private meditation. Each site has a small private firepit and picnic table. Plenty of wood is available - free again this season. There is a wooded site, an open site for self contained campers and tent campers and a large open grassy area, fun for children or dogs to recreate. How about camping in a Vintage Camper! Apple Ridge Farm is a 7 acre diversified sustainable farm. We grow/raise vegetables, small fruits, flowers chickens, and pigs. We also operate a wood-fired brick oven bakery on the farm. Guests are welcome to tour the farm, jump in with the farm crew, or just hang out in an Adirondack chair around the fire pit. You were looking for a rustic campsite but stumbled across this farm cottage. Why not upgrade your trip? Our farm cottage features a super comfortable queen size bed, pull out twin sleeper sofa, full kitchen, coffee station, and a staff of 15 locals who are all into hiking, biking, fishing, boating etc who can point you toward the next destination and help you find all of the hidden gems in the area. We're a working farm and bakery so this isn't a quiet, secluded hideout in the woods but it if you're a foodie then you've found paradise. Our little farm store, located just across the street, features organic flour wood-fired brick oven breads baked 4 days a week, our own produce, meat, eggs, and a curated collection of the areas finest local goods. Our location is a prime jumping off point for all sorts of Pocono and Lehigh Valley destinations. We're approximately 2 minutes from the famous Blue Ridge Winery (and there are 3 others within 20 minutes), 6 minutes from the Blue Ridge Flea Market, 12 minutes from the nearest Appalachian trail parking lot, 20 minutes from Blue Mountain Ski area, 20 minutes from downtown Stroudsburg, 25 minutes from the Delaware River, 20-30 minutes from most of the bigger touristy Pocono attractions, 35 minutes from Jim Thorpe (and the many Lehigh River boating, biking, and hiking, adventures that await there), 35 minutes from Easton (and the excellent biking and eating you can do there).

What a fabulous time it was on this farm. I went in December so it was a bit cold. The owner was was very kind. She had already put a space heater in there and warms it up for me. If you don't like the cold then do not go in the cooler months but you ABSOLUTELY should go in the 3 other seasons. I loved meeting the horses and waking up to the sounds of a rooster. On the way out to this farm I saw a few other farms. I saw the biggest bald eagle I've ever seen in my life as well as peacocks. All this in NJ. This was an amazing experience.

Lovely place for a peaceful retreat for a chilly November weekend, even with a 5 year old. Sandy and John were such kind and welcoming hosts. The red cabin is an updated church camp cabin, with electric radiators and a modern wood stove for heat, a pretty cool composting toilet (indoor), sink+shower, simple kitchen with induction stove, and 2 bedrooms with linens and towels. Our 5-year old loved the tree house, fairy house, labyrinth, meditation stations, boat and Pooh's house and library. And we got really good at shuffleboard! Would definitely recommend and would like to go back.

I l-l-l-loved everything about it! A beautiful ride. Arrived at the barn and was met be our charming host. A walk/ride past the farm animals to a seclude area up on a hill. The yurt was so cozy and inviting. Best cot ever. I will never sleep on an air mattress again! Great for one or two people. Plenty of spa e for additional tents if you need that. Big fire pit and LOTS of wood. Easy to cook on the fire pit but bonus propane grill and really convenient and stocked prep/kitchen area. Even soap and water dispenser setup for ease of cleanup. Delicious icy cold well water for drinking, too. We were also gifted some of their honey and eggs 🍀 Then there’s the farm! What a sweet experience. We got to feed the animals and collect the morning eggs. Walk to the Brandywine Nearby Creek for a beautiful walk along. I recommend! This is a special place!

had an amazing stay at Debbi’s treehouse The place was beautiful and had everything I needed for a perfect getaway. The jacuzzi at night was so relaxing, and the BBQ grill setup was great they even provided gas for cooking, firewood, and marshmallows for s’mores! Debbi and her family were super friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The only thing I’d suggest is adding a small hanger or rack for clothes and jackets that would make it perfect. If you visit, make sure to stop by The Hand in Bird Bakery nearby they have the best pie I’ve ever had I’ll definitely be back again.

This was everything we were hoping for and more! Darby and her family thought of everything to make sure our stay went so smoothly. This is a great campsite for those who want to experience the outdoors, but still want be close to people / civilization as you're not too far from the main road and Darby's home. We loved all the amenities and the little details, like the smores welcome kit. This spot is also nestled perfectly between the poconos and amish country, so my partner and I did a bunch of day trips, but there is plenty of space at the campsite to relax and sit. (They have a hammock already set up)! Definitely want to come back when it gets a bit warmer, but loved the jacuzzi during the colder nights!

We had a fantastic weekend at this site. Because the weather was cooler, we were looking for cabin camping, and the cabin was thoroughly prepped with everything we might need and was very clean. The outhouse was also spotless. Our favorite part was the outdoor area beside the cabin, with the picnic table and campfire. It felt like we were in the middle of the woods, even though we weren’t far from civilization. There is some nearby road noise, which is hard to avoid given the location, but in the morning we heard birds and the crackling fire helped drown out the car sounds. This spot is perfect for anyone seeking cabin camping with a private, secluded feel for a getaway.
