The 66-acre property has been licensed as an airport (PS20) since the 1980s. It is currently an active, private airport. We don't sell fuel or offer services beyond camping so we primarily have only air traffic with few to no landings each year. In other words, it is very quiet here except during the occasional low pass. We are very eager for pilots to fly in and camp out! The beautiful sunsets and stargazing night skies are a real treat for anyone that comes to visit. Lots of deer, birds, and other wildlife can be seen out and about. Bring your telescope and binoculars to view all the property has to offer! Note that we are always working to improve our slice of heaven, thus we do have tools, vehicles, and equipment stored around the farm that if not used now will be one day. We appreciate your understanding that some areas are used for our personal / farm storage. If you're not into looking at our farmware, there are a few nearby campgrounds.

We are within walking distance of Swatara State Park and close to the Appalachian Trail. Short drive to the local winery, bowling alley, pub/diner, and movie theater. Grocery stores and gas are also nearby. Miles of hiking, rail trail, single-track mountain biking, and kayaking are all right here! See our kayak and bike rentals under extras!
Hershey Park is approximately a 30-minute drive from our location. Rausch Creek, Anthracite, and Reading off-road areas are also nearby.

- Our tent sites are rustic with NO electric or running water. We allow responsible use of the stream for cleaning. Please bring along potable water. Cabins have electric, but no indoor plumbing. Porta-Johns are available throughout the grounds. Cabins have a rustic outdoor shower available MID May- MID October. Please inquire for camper vans and pop ups.
- FIREWOOD: We have firewood for sale for $7 per crate. You can pick and crate your wood at the wood pile on the grounds at your convenience. Please bring cash if possible or get in touch at the end of your stay to pay via Venmo, PayPal, or Zelle.
-We have a variety of wildlife in the area, including BLACK BEARS. Please follow 'Leave No Trace' protocols and be mindful of trash and food throughout your stay. Keep your coolers in your vehicles and take garbage to the dumpster frequently. We have a dumpster available to you on the grounds.
-Check in is contactless. Upon booking, you will receive directions to your site.
**If you would like to stay for one night during the week or one night on a weekend during November-April, please get in touch and I can adjust the booking specifications. Otherwise, weekends are typically a two night minimum mid May through October. Memorial Day Weekend and Labor Day Weekend are a three night minimum.**

The history of the Pump House began in 1878, when three ambitious men hatched a plan for the world's first long-distance underground oil pipeline which would transport oil from well to refinery more quickly and efficiently than the horse-drawn wagons of the time. Pumping stations were needed every fifty miles along this long route to keep pressure on the pipeline so that the oil could reach its destination. Pump House Bed and Breakfast is one of the only properties in the country in which the both the original homes of the foremen and the large brick buildings remain. Doug, owner, has spent more than 20 years lovingly restoring these foreman houses as well as the large industrial brick buildings. The Brick Barn Hall once housed steam pumps to pressurize the pipe and keep the oil moving, and the Catawissa Cabin behind it served as the telegraph office. The Studio Hall contained boilers that produced the steam to power the pumps, while the adjoining Studio Cabin functioned as a blacksmith's workspace. Today, the buildings function as reception spaces for weddings and other special events, and house private suites as well as an art studio where Doug pursues his work and teaches drawing, ceramics, and stained glass classes. There are 3 campsites and one cabin located in the gap of the little Mahanoy Mountain and line Mountain range along the little Mahanoy creek. All four campsites have creek access and come with picnic table garbage can and fire ring and Firewood is usually available. There are two Porta potty‘s one located at each end of the sites. There are trails for hiking which extends along an abandoned railroad bed and also up into State game lands and into the deep woods. The hiking in the woods is on an incline. But the hiking on the railroad bed is pretty unintense. There is parking at each site. Enjoy 8 beautiful, secluded acres on the Conewago Creek at Bald Hill, Northern York Co. My homestead was once part of the Conewago Turf Farm. It borders the creek a length of 1100 feet, mostly maintained with easy access. Camp is at the base of a steep section of the Conewago Mountains, creating privacy and protection from wind and afternoon sun. This is not a whole house rental. I have a one bedroom, queen size bed, kitchenette, private restroom and outdoor shower with on demand hot water. There's plenty of room for tent or van camping. Please see pictures for detail. I live in the house above the glamping quarters.
Plenty of good fishing and paddling here. I offer shuttle service for 1 or 2 day float trips, paddle in one day, paddle out the next day. Canoes, kayaks, paddles and PFD's are included in the price of your stay.
The Conewago is very beginner paddling but remote, very clean and full of wildlife. Gifford Pinchot State Park is 7 miles away. I have two paddle boards if you want to paddle the 3 mile lake. This adventure would require a short hike out to a parking area.
Relax in a wood fired Norwegian sauna and cook in a Peruvian wood fired earth oven or cook under the stars over an open fire. Firewood is also included. Foodies will rejoice here.
I live and work here, part time blacksmith and wood worker. I'll assist you in any way or do my best to stay out of your way.

This cabin has 2 nice chairs on the porch, perfect for gazing at the waterfall! The vibe inside the cabin is more cozy and secluded and cottage-like than the Buckhorn cabin which is a bit brighter, more airy, and bigger. Both cabins have nice rugs in the middle! The Waterfall cabin is so fun to get to across the bridge! The bridge feels very safe. There is a big wheelbarrow cart with bike tires to get your things across the bridge. The portapotty was just serviced as we arrived, so that was very pleasant! It's right on the road side of the footbridge. The distance between this cabin and the Buckhorn cabin is perfect for reserving both cabins together, or being totally secluded due to the footbridge and distance, but you might see each other at the road/ portapotties. The cabin is in its own little world with an overlook clearing by the waterfall, and at least 2 tent sites for Waterfall Cabin folks down by the stream, and even a hiking trail! There is a steep hill going up from behind the cabin which adds to the privacy and secluded feeling. There is a concrete walkway that leads to the waterfall, with a handrail, which is fun as an overlook! Also, as fun activities, I highly recommend Mauch Chunk Lake (which Casey recommended to us!) for beach and kayak rentals! And Lehighton Outdoor Center for bike rentals on the Lehigh Gorge Rail Trail. Both about 20 minutes away.

Weekend Trip to Conowingo Creek Campsite
One of the best camping experiences I've ever had! All the beauty and serenity of tent camping in a private space with none of the drudgery of the set-up and break-down that goes with a typical camping trip. Gini thought of absolutely everything, and all of the supplies she had on hand were kept spotless and neat in the cabinets. Not a cobweb to be found anywhere! The paths through the property were well-maintained and tranquil to meander, and there were several spots along the creek to enjoy. We spent much of our days creekside, to the delight of our pups. Will definitely return!

From the moment we arrived we felt so welcomed and at ease. The entire property (28) acres is beautifully landscaped and maintained. Alan drove us and all our gear to the tent site and I was smitten. I didn’t expect all the comforts of home that were provided. They’ve thought of everything to make sure you are comfortable and safe.

5 nights at Camp Nox ⛺️
Great secluded site in the heart of Bucks County. Everything was as described, clean and well sorted. Lots of land to roam around on and the private access to Tohickon Creek was the perfect place to just chill on a hot summer's day. Pleasantly surprised that I didn't need to use any of my mosquito gear and there were no flying insect issues at all (this was in early June). The wildlife is just as happy to be here too. Deer and their fawns wander in and out without fear. Frogs, turtles (tortoise?), fireflies, etc. The turkey's wake you up in the morning!

Darby’s family welcomed us with a beautiful and thoughtfully curated space with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay in nature. Gini it’s such a natural hostess. My family had a wonderful time staying on Jenny‘s land. It is absolutely picturesque. Gini went out of her way to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The creek looks like something out of a Norman Rockwell painting. It is beautiful and I love clunking my chair down in there and cooling off. My kids even got to pick some fresh eggs out of the chicken coop. Thank you, Gini! This was all the fun things about camping minus all of the annoying things about camping. Highly recommend.

Camp Dietrich is such a special place. Scott and Christina are wonderful hosts and maintain a gorgeous campsite. Both times we camped here, it rained and it was still our absolute favorite time camping ever.
I’m not a big camper typically, but there’s something magical about their woods, stream and waterfalls - it honestly looks like something out of a watercolor painting! The bathroom and kitchen areas are so nicely maintained and the tent itself is perfect. We can’t wait to come back and hope that we catch the rhododendrons in bloom this time!

2 nights at Fairview Farms Airfield
Loved camping here. Such kind hosts and the spot was amazing. The views were so cool and the plane made it even better! This was my first time camping in a while and this spot made me wanna start going even more due to how good it was. We fit 2 tents and a car up there around the plane and campfire so easily so no worries about the site not being big enough. Would 100% come again.

We spent most of our time down by the creek where we saw frogs, snails and a deer mama with her baby! Sarah was very accommodating especially when i realized i had forgotten pillows. thank you so much for letting us stay at your site! We made the best memories!

We had such a wonderful time camping here! They were so helpful and kind, and the location was incredible. It was peaceful so beautiful. Exactly what we needed. The bed was very comfy and the tent was lovely. Our dog Bugs had such a good time as well. We saw an albino deer which really made us feel like we were in the perfect place at the perfect time! We cannot wait to come back. This was my favorite camping trip ever!!!
