Discover a magical setting close to everything in the Catskills. This solo campsite is tucked into a private meadow pocket, bordered by a tumbling creek, woods, and my horse's favorite pasture, with views of the surrounding hillsides and the river valley leading to the Delaware River at Callicoon. Your accommodation includes a canvas tent on a platform with a queen-size air-mattress bed, a wood-burning stove, and two Adirondack chairs. A pop-up tent, that sleeps up to 6 persons, is available. We provide a large blanket and pillows with cases, but not sheets. Outside, there's a fire pit and a picnic table with benches. We supply fire-starters (kindling, newspaper, matches), but not firewood (available for purchase at a nearby market). Potable water is available in containers that are refilled upon request. The toilet is rustic. Our farm is home to herds of White-Tailed Deer, Wild Turkeys, Painted Turtles, Red-Tail Hawks, my Off-The-Track Thoroughbred horse, chickens, ducks, and Aslan, my Cocker Spaniel. Birdsong, frog song, the babbling creek, and the thundering hooves of Deva will serenade you to sleep. During your stay, you're welcome to hike, swim, and fish in the pond. Boating and fishing opportunities abound nearby, in the Delaware River or the famous fly-fishing creeks. Bethel Woods is a mere 20 minutes away. Other nearby activities include Farmers' Markets, breweries, farm-to-table restaurants, antique dealers, flea markets, art galleries, an Alpaca farm, golfing, horseback riding, and exploring numerous hiking trails. Fresh organic eggs from my free-range chickens are available for $5 per dozen.

We are a working blueberry and flower farm near the town of Tunkhannock, in the Endless Mountains Region of Pennsylvania. We also have nature and some fun recreational opportunities both on property and close by. On our property we have an 18 hole disc golf course (more info can be found on Udisc or Facebook page "Campsite Disc Golf"). The course has all PDGA approved chain baskets with wood chip or grass tee boxes. We are constantly upgrading the course, it gets better every year! We have some beautiful places for walks (or easy hikes) including walking the course even if you don't play disc golf....it makes for some nice clear trails through the woods. There is a 2 1/2 acre pond where you are welcome to kayak, canoe or paddleboard. A 10 acre swamp, a small creek (that does often dry up in the summer....it's beautiful in the spring), and bountiful wildlife. Nearby are many more recreational opportunities. Within driving distances varying from 5 minutes to an hour (most things within 20 minutes) are a river, two creeks, several lakes (all with public boat access, some with swimming), hiking and biking trails, wineries, brewery, restaurants, a movie theater and shopping (grocery stores and the small downtown are less than 10 minutes). We can provide more information and directions for any activities you are interested in. Our private road which leads to the areas available for camping has only one resident who lives past (with access rights to use the road to get to his property) so it is secluded with no traffic. It can be very dark on moonless nights which is fantastic for stargazing. Intrepid winter campers will find the sky is most crisp clear and incredible in the winter....but the summer is still quite spectacular. Blueberry season is all of July and spilling into August (although winding down by then). During that time the Grassy corner site is more out of the way and quieter. The Most Convenient Woods is close but separate, no one except a passing disc golfer can easily look into your site. You will hear activity in the blueberry field during the day. Possibly including a noise maker that makes a periodic boom in the mornings to keep the birds from stealing all the berries (we are looking for quieter bird scaring options for the future). We try to keep that to a minimum especially if campers are present but can't promise silence. The noise maker is turned off as soon as customers are present so it is just a little while in the morning.

Sharing our land with you and providing a space to create memories that will hopefully last a lifetime has been a great joy to us. Thank you for spending time with us and, as always, happy camping. Sarah and Stein * Camp Blackbird is a 28 acre property that runs along Beltzville State Park in Carbon County, PA. So besides the camp, there is an additional 3,002-acres of state park to explore. There are a total of 2 sites. The land was vacant for decades and unfortunately used to dump household garbage during that time. We cleaned up the land, built a home and bat habitat. We, Sarah and Stein, always disliked renting a camp site somewhere and then ending up on top of people. So it was our goal to make space on our land for campers like us that want to be surrounded by nature, not other camp sites. A portion of the proceeds from your stay will be donated to bat habitat conservation and bat sanctuaries around the world. We are grateful for the hundreds of campers that have stayed with us. Thank you to all of you that have left a clean site and not made unnecessary noise that would disturb the countless species that share the forest with us. Also, Thank You for patronizing local businesses while you are here. We'll give you a map so you can see where to take a short walk to get to the lake. There are miles of hiking trails a few minutes walk from your campsite. Beltzville Lake is a great place for paddling. The boat launch is just a few minutes drive from Camp. In addition to the beautiful immediate surroundings, we are centrally located near many exciting destinations. Year round activities at Blue Mountain Resort, adventure on The Appalachian Trail, fine dining, biking the rail trail and whitewater rafting in Jim Thorpe, all within a 25 minute drive. The property is not suitable for parties or events. The area is a QUIET ZONE. Ideal for people looking to unplug from it all and become one with nature. It is teaming with wildlife and is ideal for birding. The hosts mission is to disturb wildlife and its habitats as little as possible. VERY IMPORTANT - NO PARTIES or unregistered guests on the property. There are other campgrounds in the area that are great for people who want to party. We welcome pets. Please add your photos! As we pulled around the windy gravel road, we came upon a clearing across from the Art Trail. Tucked under tall, fragranced pine trees, we found multiple tiki torches leading to an iron table and chairs, situated beside the fire pit. We decided to tuck our tent under the pines on a ground of needles, next to the cozy wooden bench. The grounds were idyllic, full of birdsong and soft breezes. We found a spot for the hammock to lounge in the shade… and while it was a 90’ day, it was pleasant and cooler under the pines. There is a small active stream a short walk from the camp. The owners of Crystal Spring, Rose and Eric, are quite lovely, helpful, and friendly. They came to greet us with a bouquet of various herbs from their garden. Overall, this was such a sweet little getaway. We will definitely be back soon x

We (2 adults 2 dogs) stayed four nights and really wished it could have been longer. It was a short hike uphill to the site and Adam was kind enough to bring our heavy items up with his ATV. The site was well shaded and very private. It was a comfort to know that Adam was just down below if we needed anything or had any issues but, we did not. We packed our own tent (just in case-ya never know) but we were totally pleased with Adam’s set up. The tent was roomy, airy, high off the ground, durable and sturdy. There was a big rain, wind and hail storm while we were out and all was safe and dry in Adam’s tent. Other things to note at the site: there was a VERY handy truck-bed toolbox we used as a cupboard, a picnic table, nice size fire pit and wood storage racks. In addition, there is a really hot shower just down the path if that’s your preference. I enjoy being one with nature and had no problem creek bathing, YES, it’s that private! Adam also has a sink set up at the bottom of the trail for dishes and such. And a super plus was the trash bins near the parking area. There is a nice hiking loop. What was most spectacular, was the creek during and after the storm. Holy white water! The sounds & sights of the multiple waterfalls and cascades was amazing and soothing to fall asleep to. Hiking the creek was awesome. There were so many fascinating ledges, nooks and nice spots to cool off in. Perfect spot to relax,refresh,reflect and rejoice in all it’s beauty and serenity. Thx!!

Amazing experience. My girlfriend and I are camping outside our country for the first time. It was great to be in contact with farm animals again, we were missing this activity so much. Kathy’s place was the perfect little oasis away from everything but close enough to not be away from everything. My 5 year olds loved hiking to the waterfall, swimming in the wading pool, and roasting marshmallows! We’re definitely coming back. We loved our site and would totally book it again or try another on the property. Cleanest composting toilet outhouse I’ve ever seen. ZERO smell. Kathy was refilling supplies around and stopped to introduce herself. My boys say it’s their new favorite vacation!

Kathleen was a fantastic host and made the experience way better. She greeted my dad and I on site, made sure we had everything we need and gave us a run down of the land on where we could hike and what we could do. The site (Site 3) itself was fantastic, perfect spacing between sites, and was well taken care of. I personally have a tent in the back of my truck, there was plenty of room for me to park it and be right on site. Firewood price was extremely reasonable and the site had a dedicated pit and grill grate for enjoying and cooking. I would absolutely camp here again, it felt safe, welcoming, and all together a wonderful nature getaway.

Kat’s cabin made for a cozy little escape where the pace slows down and the company matters most. Even with a few days of rain, we squeezed in a hike to some stunning waterfalls and got two campfires in—just enough for dinner and gooey s’mores. Inside, the cabin had all the essentials (and then some): comfy beds, a stocked kitchen, books, games, and a record player that added some fun retro charm. The lighting was a little moody for intense board games, but great for relaxing. We came ready to bike and fish, but the deer paths weren’t bike-friendly, and the nearby stream didn’t offer much for fishing. Still, it gave us more time to kick back and soak in the quiet.

Beautiful, quiet spot by a series of falls that our kids loved exploring! The site is well set-up and makes camping easy with amenities like stacked wood and folding camp chairs. The only thing that wasn't so successful are the "trails" on the property - we started to venture off on one and it was really overgrown and not traversable. Would be amazing if they were better maintained for more hiking options on the property. Otherwise we had a great time and Randall was very responsive, and falling asleep to the sounds of rushing water is just delightful!

We tried so many camping sites in the past elsewhere and this one was our favorite! Absolutely magical place and there was nothing else we needed. Site 3 is surrounded by trees,has a creek literally couple feet away,gorgeous bigger creek further on and fantastic peace! We had friends camping for the first time as family and we were so happy we could give them such good quality experience. This is a hidden gem and we will be coming back every year from now on, more researching and dissapointments!

Always working on improvements! My second glamping site "The Medieval Encampment", is available for booking starting April 1st of 2025. I will have more pictures soon. In April of 2024, my long awaited 1st Glamping site was available for booking. It's been very popular! Please read the description carefully of the "Gypsy Rose Vardo", to see if it's the right fit for you. I also have 10 large camping sites available on our 33 acre property located in Northwest NJ. Sites 1 through 4 are on mowed, fairly level fields and are large enough for campers or RV's up to 30ft, or a couple of tents, and sites 5 and 6 are further back in the woods, available only for a few small tents, sites 7 through 10 are much further into the property and are only accessible with a high clearance AWD or 4WD SUV or you can park and hike your gear in. There are 3 compost toilet outhouses spread out through the property, so it's an easy walking distance from any site. Although we are only 2 1/2 miles from a main highway, the last 2 miles are on a dirt road with no houses. We are surrounded by protected land, so no neighbors and lots of wildlife, including the occasional bear, coyote or raccoon. Keep all food items secured. Because we are surrounded by protected land we are not sprayed for insects, so be safe and do tick checks often and bring the bug spray. We are 45 minutes from NYC or the Delaware Water Gap and an hour away from the NJ shore. There are horse farms nearby that offer trail rides. We are also close to the Highland and Appalachian Hiking trails. There are two reservoirs within a 20-minute drive for canoeing or kayaking. There are walking trails through our property, including a ten-minute hike on a marked trail to a small waterfall in a ravine.

The rolling creek, a feeder searching for it's mama - the Delaware River - runs down the mountainside and over the rocks to give power and life to the falls. Over thousands of years and a few hundred year floods nature has made this wonderful cave-like formation under and behind the waterfall. The mountain behind is great for climbing and a short walk down the creek will get you to the base of Jensons Ledges. The ledges are a steep hike up a mountain to a spectacular vista. Nestled outside the village of Stillwater, NJ right across the Appalachian trail and the Kittatinny Mountain Ridge, Camp David sports three luxurious log cabins: > Bell's Cabin- Main cabin that sleeps up to six > The Chatham House- Sleeps up to ten > Chief's Cottage- sleeps up to ten All cabins have their own separate listing and can be booked together or combined. The main cabin, Belle's Cabin, is made from hand hewed logs and is the only cabin furnished with a king size bed. All cabins come equipped with full bathrooms, updated kitchens, wood stoves, and the main cabin has a walkout porch on the second floor. All cabins have climate controlled heating/cooling units as well as hot water. Camp David was originally a German hunting camp at the turn of the 20th century. It was later donated to the Boy Scouts in the 1940’s. By the 2000’s, it was left abandoned at which time I purchased it and began to restore it back to its true form while maintaining the cabin life integrity. I am a contractor and arborist by trade and the last ten years I have worked hard to bring the site back to life. The camp consists of 13 acres abutted by 100's of acres of state park land. There are two stocked ponds connected by a cascading stream, multiple fire pits with seating, furnished gazebo with wood stove, picnic tables, and multiple park benches located throughout the property.
