We call our 10 acre, secluded property Cold Springs. We have spent 15 years here curating lovely areas to relax, party at and invite others to call it a home away from home. The camping areas are in the back of the property and are surrounded by woods and secluded from view of the house. There are paths leading to the pond which is a great reading area and fishing spot plus a canoe and paddleboat to enjoy. Last summer (2022) we added a tipi to the camping area. We are located right outside of Williamsport, Pennsylvania. Our area is home to many amazing restaurants, several breweries and cute downtown shops.

If you step back in time a few owners, the Kitchen family with 8 boys and a girl farmed the land that surrounds the little tributary to Montour Run. The Greenes have been pasturing the majority of the land in nature's image with an eye toward biomimicry and an agro-forestal, savannah landscape. A peaceful, relaxing grassy space where you can set up tents, cars, or vans for camping creekside surrounded by woods. Our property features private creek access, a fire pit with tons of campfire wood, and a clean portapotty for guests to use. There is also seating areas at the creek for guests to enjoy. We have many deer who call our property home so you should expect to see them almost daily. We also have a variety of other animals including raccoons, farm cats, and tons of birds including woodpeckers. We do live in an agricultural area so at times, you may hear farm equipment or cows. We also live near the Numidia Dragstrip and you may hear the races at times too.
Attractions very close by include Knoebels Amusement Park (voted #1 in the Country and still free admission), Numidia Raceway, and Weiser State Forest. There are plenty of farms and shops to check out including Rohrbach's Farm Store and agro tourism space, Catawissa Opera House, and Roaring Creek Provisions. Plus, we have tons of restaurants within a 20 minute drive.
In addition, Calm Creek has an onsite healing studio where you can book a personal energy healing session, Reiki, or card reading sessions.
We do live onsite and you may see us at times walking our golden retriever or having a campfire down at the creek. You do have your own personal space where you will be camping.

Our 10 acer property situated about a 20 minute drive from rickets glen state park has field and wooded camp areas provided with a fire ring. We have 1 site suited for rv parking in our upper field. Other sites include our lower field and 1 site along side reyburn creek. There is minimal phone service, none at the creek, but our wifi reaches the upper 2 campsites which we will gladly give access. A 2 wheele drive vehicle can make it to all campsites but i would recommend 4 or all wheele drive for the lowersites as the trail can be slick when wet. Wood is not currently provided but you can burn any downed or dead lumber. Feel free to contact me with any questions.

Had an amazing experience at Pear Tree Cove for two nights of camping! Erin and her husband Tim were so accommodating and helpful even sharing local spots for me to visit while I was in the area. Beautiful concrete pad to set up on not to mention the surrounding garden with various vegetables and strawberries. Then there is the mountain spring water you connect to for your water source. Highly recommend, Erin is a great host and her property is beautiful and peaceful! The little vegetable garden was super cool and the strawberries and blueberries were delicious! Full hookup is great and the concrete pad was clean and spacious. The provided firewood was icing on the cake. I would definitely come back again!

Great little spot to camp for a few days on their farm. Erin and her husband were great hosts. The camping spot is downhill from their barn and home. It is close to a road, but there's barely any traffic, especially at night. It's close to Lock Haven and offers great access to the PA wilds. What makes the site the most unique is the fact that they have full hookups and you park on a large concrete pad. I highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a clean, easy place to camp for a few days to explore the local area.

Wow, what a great campsite and wonderful hosts! This is a truly special spot set on beautiful farmland, complete with a peaceful stream, a blueberry patch, and an amazing variety of birds. One of the coolest features was the fresh vegetable garden surrounding the campsite, which added so much charm and character to the experience. The setting was quiet, scenic, and relaxing—perfect for anyone looking to enjoy nature and unwind. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will gladly return.

We stayed here for our last third time.As always a great location to bike Pine Creek trail but this time we forgot out bike batteries and our host gave us some revommendatiins to see a great Amish greenhouse and ended up visiting sever other Amush businesses in the area. Just a great place to relax and recover. They also gave some great advuse for fishing up thr nearby creeks. Will be back to fish soon!

We enjoyed our stay. Fire on the rocks trail run brought us to the area needing a place to stay. We found all we need at pear tree cove and some much needed peace and quiet! Our pup loved to hangout in the grass. This was his first time in the camper and I couldn't have picked a better place. We would love to come back next time we are in the area!

Pear Cove is a great place to stay. We have stayed several times to watch our daughter’s final season playing soccer for a local college. We have always had a great time with no issues. The pad is as nice as you will find with newly poured concrete and equally new full hookups. The pad is the perfect size for our 30ft class A. It is a quiet location in the country but only 10 minutes to Lock Haven University and any amenities you may need. The hosts are also awesome people that make sure all is as it should be. We highly recommend this location.

We love staying at Pear Tree as its so close to our favorite bike trail, Pine Creek Trail. Has a lot of experiences nearby such as Elk Country and fall leaf viewing. Its provides he best thought out and improved pad for our trailer and has a little fegetable garden that you can pick from. Great for Starlink and the hosts are great.

This was our first time camping with our camper and this spot was perfect! A quiet weekend getaway was just what we needed and it was so nice to be in the comfort of the farm setting. Very quiet, but a quick drive to restaurants stores and other things to do. The garden was amazing, we made fresh salsa with the tomatoes, peppers and dill. The wifi was a bit unstable but we weren't complaining because it felt wonderful to unplug. We spent most of our time at the fire pit relaxing with our pups who seemed to enjoy their time just as much as we did! Thanks Erin for a great trip.

One of the nicest HipCamps we have stayed. The site is immaculate with a concrete pad situated in the valley of a farm. The site has full hookups which were in great condition.. The hosts are also very nice and make you feel right at home. They even surround the pad with a vegetable garden and fruit trees that campers are free to enjoy. We had a nice salad with fresh tomatoes, cucumbers, and peppers. We highly recommend this camp and have already booked multiple return stays.

I wish we had more time there! It was a last minute booking on our way to New York. We couldn’t have found a better spot. Dark night sky, hot tub, quiet, private, beautiful views. We got in late and didn’t have to do anything other than put up our hammocks and go to sleep. You don’t have to think about locking anything up. We were free to roam the property. We loved the tower view of the sunset. We got to see the Milky Way while lying down on the hill. Our son decided to stay on the hill to sleep for the night so he could watch the stars. The host was quick to respond to any questions on the app.
As someone with multiple orthopedic issues the hot tub was amazing! My only recommendation is to put some sort of railing to step up onto the deck to use the hot tub. Our whole family agreed that it was the nicest hot tub we had ever used.
We don’t come this way often but we will definitely stay here again if we do!
