Set up camp overlooking what used to be a grassy yard, but is now a walkable wildflower meadow. Enjoy the meadow paths and entire property's yard. Pets are welcome, but must be leashed at all times - our dog is friendly, but will also be leashed when outside.
The house and barn were built in the late 1800s and are currently being restored. There will be no construction activity during your stay, but there may be assorted projects in process visible near buildings. Please do not enter buildings unless accompanied by a property owner.
Many restaurants, breweries, distilleries and parks are just minutes away in Bellefonte! When visiting them, we recommend going straight out of our driveway onto Clemens instead of turning right onto Valentine Hill. Valentine has tight turns that are a challenge to navigate in an RV or with a trailer.

The White Squirrel Properties include a cabin, rental pavilion and camp site. The camp site sits at the top of a hill and provides a secluded flat site to pitch your tent or park your van/truck camper/truck top tent.

The view is breathtaking - you have a gorgeous view of the Susquehanna River, numerous sets of mountain ranges, and you are surrounded by beautiful fields. We are very close to the Aughwick creek where there is kayaking and fishing. There are many trails in Huntingdon County. We are about 45 mins away from Lake Raystown dam where there is boating and camping and trails. The 1000 steps is a popular hiking trail.

This riverfront, fully equipped, beautifully crafted treehouse is not your average child's treehouse, but kids are certainly welcome. Walk up the easy 14 steps into this A Frame tiny house and you'll be surprised at the roominess. Inside you'll discover a full kitchen, full bathroom with shower, living area with sofa bed sectional, dining area, and loft with a queen bed. Step out on the deck, just a stone's throw from the river and listen to the sounds below of the gurgling moving water over the rocks. Move down below the treehouse to find another huge deck with a hot tub, relaxing seating, and a table for dining outside. But that's not all; step off that deck to a fire pit and steps leading to the river. The river is great for swimming, fishing, and boating and we even supply a canoe and kayaks.
Much of the treehouse was built with wood from the property, including the poplar floor joists, rafters, and siding. Inside you'll find several different species of beautiful wood, most from the property, including black walnut, oak, ash, cherry, and more. The two giant Tulip Poplar trees that supports the treehouse continue to grow and in the early summer produce the tulip like flowers.
If you're up for exercise or adventure, just across the river is the H&BT Bike Trail, which is now 14 miles long. A short drive takes you to a trailhead or if you're just looking for a hike on the trail, canoe across and climb up the short hill to the trail. Also across the river is a 2600 acre Pennsylvania State Game Land and 2000 foot high Kimber Mountain; if you're looking for a challenging and primitive hike, climb the mountain or work your way up Kimber Run, a small brook with many small waterfalls. Adventure abounds near Treehouse Waters.
There are also many other things to do in Bedford and Huntington Counties. The Raystown Lake is less than 20 miles away and the county seat, the small, charming town of Bedfrod is also only 20 miles away. Take a look at the Bedfrod County Tourist site for more activities.

This is our 100 yr old family farm. The lower fields are used for beef cattle grazing and hay making. There is a rough road to walk up to the fields and woods above. We are very close to the Aughwick creek where there is kayaking and fishing. There are many trails in Huntingdon County. We are about 45 mins away from Lake Raystown dam where there is boating and camping and trails. The 1000 steps is a popular hiking trail.

This riverfront, fully equipped, beautifully crafted treehouse is not your average child's treehouse, but kids are certainly welcome. Walk up the easy 14 steps into this A Frame tiny house and you'll be surprised at the roominess. Inside you'll discover a full kitchen, full bathroom with shower, living area with sofa bed sectional, dining area, and loft with a queen bed. Step out on the deck, just a stone's throw from the river and listen to the sounds below of the gurgling moving water over the rocks. Move down below the treehouse to find another huge deck with a hot tub, relaxing seating, and a table for dining outside. But that's not all; step off that deck to a fire pit and steps leading to the river. The river is great for swimming, fishing, and boating and we even supply a canoe and kayaks.
Much of the treehouse was built with wood from the property, including the poplar floor joists, rafters, and siding. Inside you'll find several different species of beautiful wood, most from the property, including black walnut, oak, ash, cherry, and more. The two giant Tulip Poplar trees that supports the treehouse continue to grow and in the early summer produce the tulip like flowers.
If you're up for exercise or adventure, just across the river is the H&BT Bike Trail, which is now 14 miles long. A short drive takes you to a trailhead or if you're just looking for a hike on the trail, canoe across and climb up the short hill to the trail. Also across the river is a 2600 acre Pennsylvania State Game Land and 2000 foot high Kimber Mountain; if you're looking for a challenging and primitive hike, climb the mountain or work your way up Kimber Run, a small brook with many small waterfalls. Adventure abounds near Treehouse Waters.
There are also many other things to do in Bedford and Huntington Counties. The Raystown Lake is less than 20 miles away and the county seat, the small, charming town of Bedfrod is also only 20 miles away. Take a look at the Bedfrod County Tourist site for more activities.

We enjoyed our stay. Fire on the rocks trail run brought us to the area needing a place to stay. We found all we need at pear tree cove and some much needed peace and quiet! Our pup loved to hangout in the grass. This was his first time in the camper and I couldn't have picked a better place. We would love to come back next time we are in the area!

Pear Cove is a great place to stay. We have stayed several times to watch our daughter’s final season playing soccer for a local college. We have always had a great time with no issues. The pad is as nice as you will find with newly poured concrete and equally new full hookups. The pad is the perfect size for our 30ft class A. It is a quiet location in the country but only 10 minutes to Lock Haven University and any amenities you may need. The hosts are also awesome people that make sure all is as it should be. We highly recommend this location.

We love staying at Pear Tree as its so close to our favorite bike trail, Pine Creek Trail. Has a lot of experiences nearby such as Elk Country and fall leaf viewing. Its provides he best thought out and improved pad for our trailer and has a little fegetable garden that you can pick from. Great for Starlink and the hosts are great.

We had a great weekend staying at Amanda’s land for the weekend for a Penn State game. Just 15 mins from Beaver Stadium it’s a quick ride. We parked our car and set up camp. Amanda was very hospitable and I would recommend this spot. Also great views of the meadows, we were lucky enough to have a beautiful sunset as we cooked up some burgers and dogs.

This was our first time camping with our camper and this spot was perfect! A quiet weekend getaway was just what we needed and it was so nice to be in the comfort of the farm setting. Very quiet, but a quick drive to restaurants stores and other things to do. The garden was amazing, we made fresh salsa with the tomatoes, peppers and dill. The wifi was a bit unstable but we weren't complaining because it felt wonderful to unplug. We spent most of our time at the fire pit relaxing with our pups who seemed to enjoy their time just as much as we did! Thanks Erin for a great trip.

One of the nicest HipCamps we have stayed. The site is immaculate with a concrete pad situated in the valley of a farm. The site has full hookups which were in great condition.. The hosts are also very nice and make you feel right at home. They even surround the pad with a vegetable garden and fruit trees that campers are free to enjoy. We had a nice salad with fresh tomatoes, cucumbers, and peppers. We highly recommend this camp and have already booked multiple return stays.

We stayed at River Golf Lodge while traveling for the World IBO Archery Tournament with a group of 11 people, and it was an absolute gem!
From the start, the customer service was excellent warm, friendly, and welcoming. The property was spotless, with a gorgeous overlook of the river that made mornings and evenings feel extra special. The whole vibe of the place is peaceful and zen-like, the perfect escape from a busy travel schedule.
A highlight of our stay was definitely the hippie shower. It was incredible ,such a unique and refreshing experience! Honestly, with our large group, we wished there were a couple more of them. The host kindly gave us access to another indoor shower in the lodge, but everyone loved the outdoor one so much that no one wanted to use the other.
There was plenty of room for both our campers and our people, which made logistics a breeze. The host was lovely, and the combination of relaxing surroundings, river views, and thoughtful touches made this a stay we’ll remember.
We’d absolutely come back! hopefully to find a few more of those amazing hippie showers next time!

This place TOTALLY ROCKS!!!! This was our first Hipcamp adventure and Riverview Golf Resort set the bar high!!!
From the special touches to make any camper more comfortable during their stay, to the tasteful decor and high end finishes, owners Rob and Sherie have thought of everything. Offering homemade cheesecake (delicious graham cracker crust included ) and Charcuterie Board with handmade touches, is only 1 example of what makes this place magical. We stayed at #4 Riverfront with a breathtaking view of the river from our tent every morning. Rob and Sherie made us feel welcome and access to the fully equipped kitchen and coffee bar made us feel at home. The outside hot water shower is absolutely beautiful and if that isnt enuff, they offer Kayaking and tubing down the river with Golf across the road!!! With plenty to do and see, our stay didn't seem long enuff. Already planning our return trip!!!

We had a wonderful stay at Meadow View Near PSU! The site was peaceful, private, and beautifully maintained. It was easy to park on and a convenient spot near PSU with hookups.
Amanda and her family were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They went out of their way to make sure we felt at home.
