The Beaver Lodge is a single-site glamping retreat tucked in the woods just outside Honesdale, PA. The site features two ponds and roughly five acres of quiet forest. In October, the surrounding hardwoods turn, and you’ll have a front-row seat to peak Wayne County foliage from your Adirondack chair or the waterside fire circle.
Our site sits beside Spinner Pond. You’ll arrive by a short wooded walk (about 3 minutes), or catch a ride in on the UTV — we’re happy to shuttle guests and gear.
At the waterfront, there’s a fire circle, Adirondack chairs, and multiple watercraft: canoe, kayaks, and a rowboat, all with paddles and life jackets. Fishing is excellent in both ponds — bass, pickerel, crappie, and panfish are active throughout the season. Wildlife watching from the pond edge is excellent: bald eagles, osprey, beavers at work, deer, ducks, and turtles are regular visitors. On a clear night, the sky above the pond is as dark as it gets this close to the Poconos.
Inside the canvas bell tent you’ll find a real queen-size bed made up with sheets, pillows, and blankets, LED camp lighting, and a footlocker stocked with cooking essentials: cast iron skillet, pot, utensils, and dinnerware. The site includes a two-burner propane stove with fuel, picnic table, and a fire pit. Potable water, a composting toilet, and a gravity-fed outdoor shower are all on-site. Optional extras include a propane Buddy Heater, two additional cots, and firewood bundles.
The camp is tucked behind our home, so you’ll feel completely private — no other structures in view. We’re nearby if you need anything, and we mean that. Past guests have called this the best campsite they’ve ever stayed at. We aim to keep it that way and ask you to practice Leave No Trace to help.
Dogs welcome off-leash on the property. Season runs April through first snow.

From 1939-2020 our family ran a summer sleep-away camp for children on the farm, with an emphasis on caring for each other and the land. Located in a small valley at 1400 feet of elevation, our fields and woods are home to a broad diversity of native plants and animals. Our family has been caring for this land since 1926, but before European colonization it was home to the Lenape people from whom it was forcibly taken. Acknowledging this fact and working to expand awareness of Indigenous cultures and their rights is important to us.

All lodging sites have heating for your comfort and are available year round! The River's Edge campsites sit on the shoreline of the Delaware River at the western edge of New York State overlooking the mountains of Pennsylvania. Our canvas tents and open air platforms perch between the river and the former Delaware & Hudson Canal which was once was used to transport raw goods by barge to New York City via the 'port' of Port Jervis. The remnants of the canal walls are throughout the property including a 300 person theater which we created to both preserve and feature this industrial history. It also makes a great place for an event or a movie night.
Today, the original canal towpath, along which barges would be pulled and floated downstream, is a trail that links all of the campsites over 5 acres and at the furthest end an eel fishing camp that is in operation from June to October.
In the early 1900s, the train replaced the canal as the primary method of moving goods into New York and if you are lucky — you will hear the train rumble by along the river on the Pennsylvania side. There is something spectacular in the absolute still and grandness of the river, the mountains and the ongoing industrial history of the valley. It is a reminder of the way things used to be.
The farmhouse and cabins are located opposite the campsites on other side of route 97. Next to them are 50 acres of wild forest to hike and explore. These accommodations are great for guests who want more amenities but still with easy access to river. Pair campsites and cabins so that all your guests have their best experience.
Contact us to coordinate for larger group bookings. Please note that a significant portion of county tax/fees and cancellation or change fees may be avoided by booking the base amount of people (4) and at a much later date adding extra guests. Guests NOT occupying canvas tent (lodging) and bringing their own tents should not be paying an occupancy tax but there is no provision for this in the app. We do not want our guests paying taxes -- that benefit no one but useless bureaucracy! Extra guests may be added the week before booking. Just let us know your plans through the app!

Relax in a secluded, comfortable tent while enjoying the music of the frogs. The land is a mix of cleared and wooded areas with a half acre pond. In the spring the pond comes alive with the singing of frogs and the blinking of fireflies. Enjoy a campfire in the evening and a brilliant display of stars. The pond is nice for swimming or paddling. We provide a kayak or just sit on the dock or relax in the hammock.
The village of Callicoon is a ten minute drive with great restaurants, a brewery, distillery, wine bar, grocery store, vintage shops, live music and a wonderful farmers market on the weekend. From town, you can also book a canoe trip on the Delaware River. Bethel Woods Center for the Arts is a 15 minute drive for great concerts and an interesting museum. There will be a list in the tent with suggested activities in the surrounding area if you choose to go exploring.
We provide kindling, firewood, bedding, fresh eggs from our chickens and brownies from our kitchen. There is a small cupboard attached to the picnic table with everything you will need for meals on the campfire. A cooler is provided, please bring your own ice. There will be 2 large jugs of water at the site and additional water at the handwashing station on the back side of the outhouse. The site offers total privacy. Parking is within a couple minutes walk to the site and there will be a cart to help you transport your gear.
We are a couple of longtime residents of this beautiful piece of the planet and we look forward to sharing it with you.

Welcome to Clearing Farm! Our grounds expand over 100 acres with many private hiking trails, a big field and cascading waterfalls.
Please note while our cabin is a premium experience on a working farm, it is still an outdoor experience that takes place deep in the woods, off the grid and in a cabin built from earthy or recycled materials. It is a far cry from a typical hotel or traditional glamping.
Experience a private campsite equipped with a Casper Full Mattress, fire pit and charcoal grill. Please note there is 1 bed at the property but room next to the cabin to bring and put up additional tents. There is no power at the campsite.
THERE IS NO LONGER THE WOOD BURNING STOVE IN THE CABIN - THE TOWN MADE US TAKE IT OUT. There is also no shower. If you would like to bathe in the streams please use all natural soap as the animals drink from it. The Thermal Spring (hot tub) is no longer available. It was a $195 extra but the material and labor cost were too expensive to keep running it.

Sixty acres of magical trees, a one acre pond, and a three acre field. From the road there is a two hundred foot elevation gain to the top of the hill. Along the way are several hundred feet of rock ledges, caves, and critters. Most of the land is sloping, but the hilltop is flat as a table, with prehistoric-looking ferns under a dense canopy of mature trees.
The campsites are ultra secluded- about a quarter mile apart from each other. All sites include a fire pit, cooking grate, picnic table, and sites 2&3 have platforms.
Camp ONE: is on the top of the hill, and a small car can be driven to within 150 feet of it. It is pretty flat, and surrounded by blackberry bushes, ferns, and trees.
Camp TWO: is on a bluff overlooking a picturesque swamp, filled with hemlock trees and ferns. This site can not be driven to with anything less than a high clearance SUV (ie- jeep wrangler), so I consider it a hike in site. It is under a ten minute walk from the pond and parking lot, but the view and feel is worth it. (It has been brought to our attention that there is occasionally a group riding atvs on a neighboring property that are audible from this site. We have no control over what time it happens, so please keep this in mind)
Camp THREE: is accessible with a four wheel drive vehicle, something at least as high as an SUV. It is the closest to the house and pond, but still far enough to feel secluded and completely private. If you choose to walk there, it’s only a couple minutes from the parking area.
Throughout the property, there are many quiet places to hang out, flat spots to do yoga, trails to explore, and fishing and swimming in the beautiful pond. We are also just ten minutes from the Upper Delaware River, and all it has to offer.

Welcome to The Record Room - Built directly from our hands and our hearts, The Record Room borders the fine line of camping and glamping, with a wood-fired cedar hot tub and outdoor shower that feeds off a small artesian creek, a sauna tucked within the trees, overlooking scenic ridge, and solar-powered vinyl that plays inside and out across a vast selection of vintage, classic, and current albums.
Back to our small creek, there are plenty of quaint spots to dip your toes. The Monguap River is close enough to see and hear, and the Delaware River is just 2 miles up the road, with rafting, kayaking, and canoeing companies all along it.
A queen Tempur-Pedic bed, as well as an overstuffed futon, will take care of you come nightfall. The outdoor kitchen is built for cooking some real food - a flat-top grill, a single burner, a stainless steel grate grill, cast-iron pans, and all utensils, all powered by propane. A wood stove inside will handle the chilly mornings and brisk nights. We have a pool table under a custom-built pavilion just for your enjoyment. And last but certainly not least, our outhouse, which is maintained by the women of our family.
We also have a nearby waterfall, which is as close as a three-minute drive down the road. The Hawks Nest lookout is under 10 minutes away. We recommend downloading a trail finder app, as once you arrive here, there will be zero service or wifi. Since we only have one bed and one futon, only four individuals can sleep comfortably, but we also have a couple of spots for your friend circle to set up some tents. Our mission is to get people back into the life we feel so disconnected from nowadays, and we provide the space to be able to do so.
We highly recommend the firewood package, as it makes life much easier, unless you plan on picking through the woods on your property (which we totally support!)

Wildlife: We get a lot of questions about bears and also know there's a rising concern about ticks in the northeast. Black bears do traverse the area. We see one every couple of months on average. They won't bother you. All campers must keep food, trash, cookware, locked away and out of sight. There are ticks in the woods. We find very few on us, even after lots of time in the brush. Check yourself and you'll be fine.

Weekend Trip to Hippie Havens: A Groovy Retreat & Spa
Shaggy and Kendra have truly curated something special and wonderful. The cabin is pristine and cozy, and the bathroom and shower amenities make the experience glamorous. Our favorite part is sitting by the solo stove and listening to the records Shaggy provides! This is our second stay at Hippie Haven and we can’t wait to come back again. We utilized the sauna and the hot tub, as well as the fire wood bonus package. Everything is so user friendly and makes for a worry-free and relaxing stay. The land is quiet and utterly peaceful, and the only critters we encountered were frogs at the pond and a few grazing deer in the morning. Nothing but good things to say! 5/5 stars! P.S. Lovely. Located on beautiful grounds. Perfect camping cabin. FYI, there are no provisions. No coffee, no sugar, no paper towels, etc. You have to bring everything in. Like a campground basically.This is not a complaint- but important to know. Plan ahead.
It’s a wonderful cabin with a great, “vibe” Clean and very comfortable- cozy! Host is communicative and gracious.

Amazing place. Very comfortable tent and bed. Everything we needed for cooking was provided. Chairs near the river and around the fire place were really comfy. Thomas came around to greet us and gave us a few recommendations on where to launch our kayak upstream. Will definitely return

This was our second trip to the treehouse and it was just as lovely as the first. There were some new improvements added from last year which were appreciated - a larger water heater for the outdoor shower, a canopy above the picnic table on the patio, and a wood shed for the fire pit. Jeremy and his family were wonderful as always. Hoping to make this an annual trip for our group!

This place is absolutely magical. Waking up, opening the tent window, and seeing the beautiful river right in front of us felt surreal. The peaceful sounds of the river and nature made the experience even more special. Thomas is a fantastic host—kind, courteous, and incredibly welcoming. Fantastic camp spot. Right on the water with exceptional views. The built deck has everything you need to host and camp comfortably. The glamp tent has a perfect view to wake up to in the morning. The owner is very thoughtful and prepares everything you’ll need for you and your guests to have a great stay. Make sure to communicate what you need with the owner proper as there is no service at the location.

First off, I genuinely don’t even know where to start. The pictures truly do not do this place justice. This is easily one of the most beautiful spaces I’ve ever hosted at. I booked the property for my birthday weekend with a group of friends, and it was absolutely perfect for what I envisioned.
The property itself is stunning, spacious, peaceful, and surrounded by so much natural beauty. There was plenty of room for everyone to be together while still having their own space to relax. Every little area felt like it had its own charm, and the entire setting made the weekend feel so special.
David was also a wonderful host and made the experience easy from beginning to end. My friends could not stop talking about how beautiful the property was, and we made memories here that I’ll genuinely cherish forever.
If you’re considering booking, DO IT. I already know I’d love to come back. Truly such a hidden gem.

Great spot to camp with easy access, lots of amenities and endless fire wood with the package. Everything worked fine and even enjoyed the sauna on the colder day! This is a great spot to get outdoors and our hosts were very friendly and accommodating. We will be back as long as everything is kept up and working! Thank you!

1 night at Frog Pond
I loved the set up at Frog Pond. The hosts provided everything I could need: firewood & kindling were all set for me, a full set up of camping cook- & dining-gear, and a spacious tent with a full sized camp bed. The spot was a beautiful clearing in the woods centered on the pond. I couldn't have asked for anything better. 10/10. Will come back for sure

2 nights at Trails Head Tiny House
We enjoyed our stay very much. It was a nice private space all to ourselves. Super close to Neversink Gorge Trails and people in the area were generally nice and amiable! We particularly enjoyed Skiddy the goat and appreciate how Brittani was communicative. It would be even better if the beddings were a bit cleaner and the light under the bunk bed was working. Other than that, it's got everything you need and we had a blissful time.

Weekend Trip to The Record Room
The best place I’ve been to on AirBnB & Hipcamp hands down. Spent our honeymoon at this property and it could not have been better. The outdoor kitchen, the wood fired hot tub and sauna.. absolutely amazing and makes you feel so involved with the site and nature!! Definitely highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to disconnect from the world and connect with your spouse or self on a whole new level. The quiet is so peaceful.

Weekend Trip to Mountainside Waterfall Retreat
The campsite was really nice. We had the one that was further up the mountain which I believe is site number one. Adam and his wife were very nice hosts and hooked us up with everything we needed. The waterfalls will be lighter than normal in some seasons, but still a nice asset to the campsite. Be prepared to bring your stuff up to the campsite as it is a little bit of a walk but if Adam is available is happy to help bring your stuff up would recommend.

The campsite was amazing, I stayed there for 2 nights and enjoyed every second there. The water in the creek was cold but we were still able to go for a quick swim. We were a group of 7 and everyone had a great time even with the rain.
I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a private get away.
