We will be decorated for Halloween. We are currently working a scary trail. Pitch your tent along Irish Creek under a canopy of Maples at Mystic Hollow. Irish Creek stream is a tributary to the Schuylkill River. The land is mostly flat for walking to camping area. There is also a small bridge that goes over a small strip of wetlands. Fire rings are included. I can haul your gear to your spot with tractor and wagon if needed. There is a port-a-potty close by. If you have your own portapotty, you must take the waste with you. We have no way to dispose of human waste. Absolutely no disposing of human waste on the property or in the trash. There will be a fine. We are flexible with check-in and check-out times if we are not at full capacity. Just let us know ahead of time. We allow dogs. They must be on leashes unless they are friendly and play well with others. You must clean up your dog's poop! No exceptions! We are 5 minutes from the Schuylkill River. 10 minutes from Ontelaunee Lake. 15 minutes from Blue Marsh. 15 minutes from the Appalacian Trail. Trail heads nearby Port Clinton, Hamburg, Bernville, Bethel, Blue Rocks, Kempton... 20 minutes from Hawk Mountain. We are an hour from Jim Thorpe. There are several wineries in the area including Long Trout Winery where wine is cool and hippy chicks rule! My favorite! Lots of wildlife. Expect to hear owls, blue heron, cows, goats, chickens, hawks, eagles, dogs, racoons and coyotes. Racoons will steal food that is not put away or in coolers. Deer may walk past in the middle of the night. Hiking, kayaking, tubing, fishing, mountain biking, bike trails, etc... all nearby. Sadly there are no fish in Irish Creek worth catching. The Crayfish are! As with any land situated along a water source, there is always a possibility of flooding. We flood maybe once a year, once every other year. If that should happen, we will assist in hauling gear. There is higher ground for tents to be set up if need be. There will also be rooms available to rent in the near future. It is not in the middle of nowhere....it's in the middle of everywhere! Learn more about this land: Camp next to a peaceful trickling creek just outside Phoenixville and Kimberton. We are a suburban oasis, surrounded by a little bit of everything. Our homestead has plenty of activity including kids, dogs, and chickens, bees and goats! We have a fully wooded area available to explore across the creek, and weather dependent- the creek is a great place to stay cool. You'll see lots of growing fruit trees in our developing orchard and we are happy to share our vision for this beautiful land! We have two campsites available for you to choose between for your stay. Both sites are along the creek, however, one has a view of some nearby houses and is a short walk to the parking spot [Creekside]. The other site is more secluded, past the tree line, but a further walk from where you are able to park. [Hillside] If needed, we are happy to lend you a wagon to haul your gear. Please let us know if you have questions and your preference of site. We have a cabin-like bathroom and partial kitchen you will have access to during your stay. We always have cold water available for purchase in the fridge. There is trail access easily accessible from our home (the closest is approximately 1 mile), for paved or natural trail exploration. We are are a great stopping point for cyclists enjoying the area. It's a short drive to downtown Phoenixville with some of the best breweries around. Phoenixville is home to a great farmers market on Saturday mornings and numerous festivals. Also, close-by is the lovely quaint village of Kimberton, home of the best organic grocery store and many opportunities for hiking and small farms.

We've got three acres of grass in the Ole Orchard. Plenty of room to stretch your legs & walk along the tree line after a long drive. Recent guests remarked that there is great Cycling/Biking on low traffic country roads in our area. Motion lights provide security. Two local family owned pizza shops, a hair salon, turkey hill convenience store / gas station, a community park with playground, an auto mechanic on the corner, all within a short 4 minute walk, less than 1/4 mile away. A full list of local attractions & amenities will be provided automatically 24 hours prior to check-in, (or sooner by request.) Community park & playground is a short 5 minute walk. Lots of great ways to relax & connect with nature in this quaint little Village Farm-Town USA... Sunsets from the Gazebo are stunning: a great site to connect with nature. We have a variety of birds who love the water feature by the gazebo, & an occasional family of deer that passes through. Easy access to tourist points in Lancaster PA, Amish tours, Outlet shopping experiences, as well as Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square PA, the Kennett Square Mushroom Festival (Sept) & Mushroom Drop (New Years Eve) along with a plethora of fine winery experiences throughout Southern Chester County. Movie theaters are a 30 minute drive. Putt Putt Mini-Golf & Bowling are 14 minutes down the road into Oxford, PA. We have about 80 acres in total—I lease out around 70, and keep 10 acres just for myself to enjoy and build on. You'll find cows, calves, chickens, ducks, and guineas roaming our meadows, adding to the charm and rhythm of daily farm life. I’m really looking forward to welcoming families to our campsite and sharing a little piece of our land and lifestyle with you.

Our 2 and a half acre property is situated in a very rural quiet area. The Wickecheoke creek, a tributary of the Delaware, runs through the property. There is a private seating area for serene enjoyment and private meditation. Each site has a small private firepit and picnic table. Plenty of wood is available - free again this season. There is a wooded site, an open site for self contained campers and tent campers and a large open grassy area, fun for children or dogs to recreate. How about camping in a Vintage Camper! We have on its own site a 1965 Trotwood, canned ham style camper. This cozy piece of the past is restored for nostalgic reflection. It has fine appointments, kitchenette, indoor private potty. She will sleep 4 comfortably. There are many parks, conservation reserves and nature trails to hike nearby. Your can bike along farm roads in the area and find places to have your picnic lunch. Forgot some supplies?- within 3 short miles are many shops, services and resturants, many deliver. Several varieties of wildlife are in the area: you will spot eagles, white tail deer, racoons, wild turkeys and red fox, to name a few, while you stroll, bike or drive throught the area. Stop at the many creeks and enjoy the vibrant sounds of the bubbling waters; fish, frogs , turtles, blue heron and the many critters who habitate the waters. For birders there are over 75 species of birds within a short walk. During changes of seasons you can often see many birds in flight migrating to far away places. Bring your binoculars and camera. For you shop and antique explorers, just a short drive to the Delaware River and its quaint villages only 10 miles away: Lambertville, New Hope and Frenchtown. Boutiques, art studios, antique shops and restaurants . Enjoy any one of the many local Brewers, Distileries and vineyards all within a short drive of historic Flemington.

3 nights at BozziBrook Farm

I l-l-l-loved everything about it! A beautiful ride. Arrived at the barn and was met be our charming host. A walk/ride past the farm animals to a seclude area up on a hill. The yurt was so cozy and inviting. Best cot ever. I will never sleep on an air mattress again! Great for one or two people. Plenty of spa e for additional tents if you need that. Big fire pit and LOTS of wood. Easy to cook on the fire pit but bonus propane grill and really convenient and stocked prep/kitchen area. Even soap and water dispenser setup for ease of cleanup. Delicious icy cold well water for drinking, too. We were also gifted some of their honey and eggs 🍀 Then there’s the farm! What a sweet experience. We got to feed the animals and collect the morning eggs. Walk to the Brandywine Nearby Creek for a beautiful walk along. I recommend! This is a special place!

Martin's property is gorgeous, clean and he was a great host. My girlfriend and I had a lovely weekend to ourselves at the Sacchara site, the wheelbarrow provided to help walk in our gear was a welcome amenity. Plenty of great trails in the area, even walking the property was a delight. It's close to Skippack, a great little town to walk with plenty of shops and sights to see. Hoping to visit again next year!

My mom and I had a blast with our rustic weekend camping trip at the end of October, one last weekend before it got too cold! This is classic rustic camping, less amenities = beautiful nature , in a beautiful meadow with a stream going around it! Mel, the hostess got us plenty of wood when we asked and checked in with us each night! She helped haul all our stuff to our site, so that part wasnt to bad. Just what I needed peace and quiet in nature! Thanks Mel!

There is a very nice view at this site. The couple who owns the site are very helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. They answered a lot of my questions about how to navigate Jim Thorpe and where to eat. Other campers were very respectful. I will say make sure to read the reviews and look at pictures to decide which campsite is the best for you. Some have more tree coverage than others and some are definitely more secluded than others. This one has tree coverage and a campsite next to it which was nice for us.

Weekend Trip to The Lookout

We had a wonderful two-night stay at Site 2. The space feels private, yet it’s just a short walk to the shared main area, which has an amazing view, a bathroom, and firewood for purchase. From Site 2, you can see a few hikers pass by on the trail, and you can hear cars on the road above as well as occasional gunshots from a nearby gun club but none of it was bothersome. It was actually nice to feel secluded while still being close to things. I appreciated reading previous reviews that mentioned these details beforehand, so nothing was surprising. Access to the trail was easy, and Site 1 looked great as well. We would definitely return!

Weekend Trip to Scenic Turtle Ridge

We had a great weekend camping at Tom's place. Site 2 was private and wooded. We loved interacting with the goats. Tom was an excellent host, and having a real bathroom available was a big plus for my group. You do have to cart your belonging down a hill (and back up when you leave), but sturdy carts are provided, and it maintains the peace and quiet of the camping spots. Would definitely recommend to others.

Honest review: Amazing site (2) nestled on a hill, covered by tall trees! This trip was in October, perfect weather during the day, chilly nights for a good fire. Host also provided a sturdy grilling grate with a stake to rotate over the fire! Each site has its own outhouse! Beautiful property, and close to stores if you need something! Highly recommend!

My daughter got to feed the animals, we were gifted fresh eggs we picked from the chicken coupe as well as fresh honey. We would for sure camp here again!

We had a wonderful time on Martin's land at the Sacchara site! Everything was as described, and although there were campers at the other tent-camping spot, we couldn't hear them at all. The trail from the parking area to the site is flat and takes 4-5 minutes to walk, the campfire ring is big and beautiful, and there are trails to explore that we didn't have time for. I'm looking forward to returning so I can see where those trails go! On Sunday, we had the chance to bikeride on the Perkiomen, which I highly recommend! Next time, we'd like to do more of that and check out the boat rental places so we can explore the creek.

Weekend Trip to Hardscrabble Hill

This was an unbelievable spot. The scenery was gorgeous and the site was a dream- you’re at the top of a hill with stunning views but the clearing itself is flat and level with full hookup facilities, fire pit, picnic table and even trash & recycling bins onsite. We arrived after dark but David’s instructions were clear and the path is well defined with small solar lights that were bright enough to indicate the driveway but dim enough that we could still see all the stars at night. We loved visiting the dairy farm down the road and watching the birds in the trees surrounding the site. It felt like a private piece of paradise. Thank you for sharing your land with us!
