Our horse farm is located in one of the most rural areas of Southern New Jersey. This land was once occupied by The Lanape Tribe. The adjacent creek was named after Chief Alloway. Artifacts of Native Americans have been found alongside this brackish water creek. This farm was for many years a dairy farm which was passed on for 3 generations until the late 80's. Our main horse breeds are 5 Arabians followed by 2 Thoroughbreds and 2 miniature ponies. In addition to horses you will see free range rabbits, chickens and beautiful cows. There are many antique shops in this area which tell the rich History of Southern NJ. Cowen mall and Royal Port are my two favorites. Another must see experience (at least once) in the area is The Cowtown Rodeo, one of the first and oldest in the country, only 14 minutes drive. We will be decorated for Halloween. We are currently working a scary trail. Pitch your tent along Irish Creek under a canopy of Maples at Mystic Hollow. Irish Creek stream is a tributary to the Schuylkill River. The land is mostly flat for walking to camping area. There is also a small bridge that goes over a small strip of wetlands. Fire rings are included. I can haul your gear to your spot with tractor and wagon if needed. There is a port-a-potty close by. If you have your own portapotty, you must take the waste with you. We have no way to dispose of human waste. Absolutely no disposing of human waste on the property or in the trash. There will be a fine. We are flexible with check-in and check-out times if we are not at full capacity. Just let us know ahead of time. We allow dogs. They must be on leashes unless they are friendly and play well with others. You must clean up your dog's poop! No exceptions! We are 5 minutes from the Schuylkill River. 10 minutes from Ontelaunee Lake. 15 minutes from Blue Marsh. 15 minutes from the Appalacian Trail. Trail heads nearby Port Clinton, Hamburg, Bernville, Bethel, Blue Rocks, Kempton... 20 minutes from Hawk Mountain. We are an hour from Jim Thorpe. There are several wineries in the area including Long Trout Winery where wine is cool and hippy chicks rule! My favorite! Lots of wildlife. Expect to hear owls, blue heron, cows, goats, chickens, hawks, eagles, dogs, racoons and coyotes. Racoons will steal food that is not put away or in coolers. Deer may walk past in the middle of the night. Hiking, kayaking, tubing, fishing, mountain biking, bike trails, etc... all nearby. Sadly there are no fish in Irish Creek worth catching. The Crayfish are! As with any land situated along a water source, there is always a possibility of flooding. We flood maybe once a year, once every other year. If that should happen, we will assist in hauling gear. There is higher ground for tents to be set up if need be. There will also be rooms available to rent in the near future. Several varieties of wildlife are in the area: you will spot eagles, white tail deer, racoons, wild turkeys and red fox, to name a few, while you stroll, bike or drive throught the area. Stop at the many creeks and enjoy the vibrant sounds of the bubbling waters; fish, frogs , turtles, blue heron and the many critters who habitate the waters. For birders there are over 75 species of birds within a short walk. During changes of seasons you can often see many birds in flight migrating to far away places. Bring your binoculars and camera. For you shop and antique explorers, just a short drive to the Delaware River and its quaint villages only 10 miles away: Lambertville, New Hope and Frenchtown. Boutiques, art studios, antique shops and restaurants . Enjoy any one of the many local Brewers, Distileries and vineyards all within a short drive of historic Flemington.

We always have cold water available for purchase in the fridge. There is trail access easily accessible from our home (the closest is approximately 1 mile), for paved or natural trail exploration. We are are a great stopping point for cyclists enjoying the area. It's a short drive to downtown Phoenixville with some of the best breweries around. Phoenixville is home to a great farmers market on Saturday mornings and numerous festivals. Also, close-by is the lovely quaint village of Kimberton, home of the best organic grocery store and many opportunities for hiking and small farms.

We loved our stay! Anne was very welcoming and helpful. The property is in a rural farming community, yet only 20 minutes to Kennett Square or Longwood Gardens. It’s very relaxing and quiet. Anne has a mudroom on her house that we were able to use that has a bathroom and sink. While the spot is in a carriage house driveway (we were also offered an option a little further away in a field), you still have a good sense of privacy. Anne left eggs and some veggies on our doorstep the first day. The entire trip was great and we’d definitely return. Anne is a lovely host who goes out of her way to make sure you are happy.

The camp site was perfect!! The distance from the car to the site was nice so moving the camping equipment was a breeze. Mel was an awesome host!! She was accommodating and very welcoming!! She made sure my friends and I had everything we need to make our camping experience pleasant. The environment was quiet and scenery. Her pets( a dog and alot of cats)were friendly and wanted lots of attention. She is in the process of building and remodeling. I can't wait to come back when she has everything settle!!!

This camp site was great! Bathroom in their home was close by, as was prepared firewood. Chickens and horses greeted us in the morning, which was a great surprise! It was a nice, quiet spot. Would recommend!

Great spot! Tom and Anne are incredibly sweet hosts, and my dog Charlie and I really loved the site. We ended up staying at the RV site, which is a little further from the house and is enclosed by a gate, which allowed me to let Charlie run free. Very cool to hang out with the goats, cows, sheep, and chickens and watch the Amish buggies roll by.

Lovely place for a peaceful retreat for a chilly November weekend, even with a 5 year old. Sandy and John were such kind and welcoming hosts. The red cabin is an updated church camp cabin, with electric radiators and a modern wood stove for heat, a pretty cool composting toilet (indoor), sink+shower, simple kitchen with induction stove, and 2 bedrooms with linens and towels. Our 5-year old loved the tree house, fairy house, labyrinth, meditation stations, boat and Pooh's house and library. And we got really good at shuffleboard! Would definitely recommend and would like to go back.

The ambiance of tiki torches and colorful, crisp autumn nights welcome you and a cozy bed provides perfect relaxation.

had an amazing stay at Debbi’s treehouse The place was beautiful and had everything I needed for a perfect getaway. The jacuzzi at night was so relaxing, and the BBQ grill setup was great they even provided gas for cooking, firewood, and marshmallows for s’mores! Debbi and her family were super friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The only thing I’d suggest is adding a small hanger or rack for clothes and jackets that would make it perfect. If you visit, make sure to stop by The Hand in Bird Bakery nearby they have the best pie I’ve ever had I’ll definitely be back again.

This was everything we were hoping for and more! Darby and her family thought of everything to make sure our stay went so smoothly. This is a great campsite for those who want to experience the outdoors, but still want be close to people / civilization as you're not too far from the main road and Darby's home. We loved all the amenities and the little details, like the smores welcome kit. This spot is also nestled perfectly between the poconos and amish country, so my partner and I did a bunch of day trips, but there is plenty of space at the campsite to relax and sit. (They have a hammock already set up)! Definitely want to come back when it gets a bit warmer, but loved the jacuzzi during the colder nights!

We had a lovely fall weekend glamping on Gini’s land. The site is beautiful and well maintained and the tent is very comfortable and filled with everything you could want even for cold weather camping. Gini’s hospitality was also exceptional (going out of their way to provide extra blankets and hot water bottles to one of our party who camped in a tent), and the land is perfect to walk through. Our dogs enjoyed the freedom safely. Will definitely be back!

What a perfect little spot! After biking around the area most of the day, this was the ideal spot to rest. Tom and MaryAnn were very accommodating and did a great job making sure the camper had all the essentials. While I didn't get to make a fire, Tom did offer free wood, which is rare on Hipcamp. The location is excellent and is not far from cute little towns like Frenchtown and Flemington. Would love to visit again and explore the area more.

This is the 5th or 6th time I've stayed here - that likely says it all - I like this hipcamp very much - it's private (the owner says hi, but then leaves you on your own), he provides wood for campfire, there is a water spigot, a picnic table. The site I reserve has these things, and I believe another site has electric as well, but I haven't needed that one. It's peaceful, scenic, private - and the owner is communicative, their home is in sight, but not close enough to change the nice privacy. All these things make a great hipcamp. I travel twice a year to and from Maine and Georgia, with 2 dogs, and stay there every time. Highly recommend.

We had such a GREAT TIME at Great Times Camp! Bathrooms and parking are a short walk away from the cabins. The camp is private and quiet with plenty of room for our large group. Will was helpful and prompt with answering any questions. We will definitely be back!
