You'll notice a handful of weekends that the campground is closed or would appear fully booked; those may be times that we have ticketed music festivals happening, in which case you can find that information on our main website.
Our many camping and lodging options allow families to relax, enjoy nature, and create memories. We have around 100 sites throughout our 300 acres, some woodsy, some with views of the rolling hills and some with electric service.
The Heron grounds boast a swimming and fishing pond, and over 4 miles of on-site hiking trails. Located on over 400 acres in beautiful Chautauqua County, NY, we are a working organic farm with a shiitake mushroom yard and on-site farm store.
We host weddings, educational workshops, retreats, private events, captivating music festivals, and much more!
We offer many different options for camping, from tent sites nestled in the woods to RV sites with electric hook-ups (electric site reservations are to be made on that specific listing and are limited).
We allow pets, all dogs must on a leash 6ft or shorter in length and held by an adult, there is a $20/stay pet fee for pets that can be paid prior to arrival.
Beach/Swimming Rules: Two adults 18 or over are required to supervise when there are children swimming. (Even if only one child is present.)
No swimming outside of the designated/roped swim area.
No watercraft allowed anywhere in the pond.
Do not use soap in the water, we have showers!
No alcohol, no glass or open containers.
On-site Phone is for Emergencies only (located in the beach hut to the left of the beach area). Creating a reservation is your agreement with this rule.

Founded in 1955 as a campground, amusement park and pay to fish lake, lake lucy has a rich history of having families spending time together.
After the death of lake lucys founder Raymond Mealy in 2007 the amusements and train were all removed as well as the zoo.
The Steinman family purchased the property in 2017 and began remodeling the pavilion and putting in water and sewer lines to be able to use the campground and pavilion again.
It has been a place for the Steinman and Mealy families and friends
to enjoy for the last few years and we felt it was time to once again welcome the public to enjoy our property!
We currently have 11 sites with full hookups (water, sewer, electric(50/30/20amp).
The campground water will be turned off November 10th due to freezing temperatures. We will still have electric and sewage hookups available.

Campers can fish, bike, swim at lake lucy. They will have access to both ponds. Top pond has bass and have caught bass over 20 inches with the largest being 23 inches and over 8 pounds. Both ponds have bass, crappie, perch, bluegill, and carp. We are within a few miles of a dollar store if any supplies are needed, a gas station is at the end of the road and we are only a few minutes from cook forest as well as the tionesta reservoir. Water is available on site for campers and campers can use the bath house. In the bath house there is 1 full bathroom with a shower and the other bathroom is just a half bath. Quiet and peaceful, come relax and enjoy time with your family at lake Lucy!
we are also conveniently located close to the bike trail near clarion as well as the bike trails in cook forest and oil creek state park. If you like to ride your e bike or mountain bike we are centrally located for a great biking trip!

This 140-acre property is an old farmstead last farmed in the 1950's. It lies in the Allegheny Plateau region of NW Pennsylvania and is mostly hardwood forest today. It is surrounded by thousands of acres of private forestland and is very secluded. Our goal is to provide a private and secluded yet accessible camping experience where you will see more deer than people. AANR/TNS friendly. There is excellent Verizon and T-Mobile service. The skies are dark at night and the sounds of nature will surround you.
Campsite 1 is near where the farmhouse and barn once stood. The site is shaded by large, old maples that once shaded the farmhouse. Old fields surround the farmstead, but the woods are a short walk away. It is the most popular campsite with an outhouse, fire ring and picnic table available.
Campsite 2 is on the other side of the property. There is a fire ring but no picnic table. Both sites easily accommodate anything from tents to RV's. Each site has a separate, gated, gravel road access. These are the only 2 campsites on the property and they are far enough apart (1/4 mile) to avoid any contact should both sites be occupied.
There is a 2-mile loop hiking trail on the property that traverses a variety of habitats which are home to many animals and birds. The trail is well maintained and mowed. The terrain is flat to gentle slopes. The 1/2-mile Narnia Loop trail weaves through a young spruce forest like a maze. It is so cool, literally, even on the hottest days.
The Allegheny River is about 10 miles away, near Tidioute, PA, and has excellent paddling and fishing. Titusville, PA is about 15 miles away and is home to Oil Creek State Park which has great trout fishing, an excellent paved bike/hike trail, and Drake Well Museum site of the first oil well ever drilled. Finally, you will be on the doorstep to the Allegheny National Forest with all the outdoor recreation it has to offer.
We hope you enjoy the peace and quiet of nature on our property as much as we have.

Nederlandia is the name of the overall parcel of land in which the main center camp, Camp Snot Otter (see our other listing under this name) is located. Nederlandia has 4 designated campsites or campers can create new campsites with direction from the owner. We provide the basic flat set up for tents and a fire pit.
The land is an elongated forested strip between deep woods and a wide open field so it is very appealing to a variety of wildlife. The land has trails, wetlands, small creeks, beautiful trees, and plenty of shade on the hot Summer days while having access to a wide open field for stargazing at night. There is a nice central camp with a makeshift nature center, a large fire pit, cooking supplies and often live music.. Nearby attractions include the Erie National Wildlife Refuge, The French Creek Conservancy, Allegheny College, Woodcock Creek Nature Center, the Tamarack Wildlife Rehabilitation Center, Conneaut Lake, Hiking, horseback riding and kayaking within 10 minutes, and the super fun Venango General Store nearby. Kayaking packages are available for a 12 mile day trip. The camp is also close to a grocery store, a hardware store, an ice cream shop, and a couple rural restaurants. Campers may be allowed to gather their own dry deadfall for firewood, but good oak and cherry cooking wood will be available to purchase at center camp. With a bit of guidance from the staff, some campers may be permitted to blaze their own inroads into the woods and create their own camp legacy.
Center camp is the central hub for everything you need. We have an information board with maps, current updates and info on goings on. We also have menus for pizza and local restaurants that will actually deliver to the land.. We always have coffee going in the morning and a luxury setting for a truly natural morning constitution (as long as you help to escort your creation to a staff appointed generally fertilizer deficient disposal designation). Also available for purchase or to barter for at center camp include water, toiletries,, batteries, tools for rent, and some basic cooking ingredients. Ask and we shall try our best to hook you up.
Nederlandia is in the very formation stage of a potential small scale absurd culture festival with roots in Burning Man and The Electric Forest. Campers are encouraged to participate, to create spaces, and leave only works of natural art that may be aesthetically pleasing, but also beneficial to wildlife, at their sites. Wild things in wild places can happen here and many new friends can be made in the process. There is always a core staff person on site, and often a crew of hicks, skids, jocks, spiritual guides, (no degens), and musicians there every day from May to October to provide sharing, transportation, information and other basic necessities and entertainments. In the Winter, we have a very cozy cabin with a fireplace, wood stove, kitchen and generator for extra heat and light.
Nederlandia is committed to wildlife conservation and education. Some of the proceeds from hosting campsites will go towards local conservation initiatives. Campers here can learn about local natural history and be immersed in the wildlife around them. We have incredible frog choruses going throughout the Spring and Summer. Our species count on the land is now somewhere in the 300s including an informal trapping study of insects last year that yielded a great number of cool bugs, but surprisingly few mosquitos. The one thing people have always said about camping here is that the mosquitos are not bad at all. We have a pond with turtles and frogs, tons of salamanders and harmless snakes. We've seen porcupine, mink, flying squirrels, and we still have a decent bat population around here. Birdwatching is a constant new surprise. There is almost always one or more dogs present here, of course. But I must also disclose, there are definitely signs of Sasquatch migrating through the back bush.
Fun is our campsite concept and if we have our druthers, we can start to do themed parties around major dates and holidays, especially a grand Halloween party! We have already planted all the pumpkins for this year.

The Roller-Coaster Road Ranch offers many maintained trails, perfect for hiking. The property is mainly forested, but does contain numerous open spaces perfect for a rustic camping experience. The farm has a few large open fields that are plowed and planted seasonally. Various wildlife populates the area; whitetail deer, turkey, black bear, and bald eagles. A stocked trout stream passes through portions of the property and connects to a larger stream with many options for swimming, wading, and crayfish hunting. The Trout Camp site is located at the confluence of two trout streams at the valley bottom, it is an open wooded area in view of a dirt road. This is a campsite that has picturesque view of surrounding farmland and of Peek-n-Peak. Located conveniently off of Rt426 with a slight drive along a field to reach the destination. Private and out of the way. Plenty of wildlife (family of fox and usually mamma deer and her babies, can normally be seen doing what animals do. Close to Peek-n-Peak and Findley Lake and its many amenities. Has fantastic cell reception so remote working is an absolute possibility if longer stays are wanted.
This is a little campsite on top of a hillside besides, you guessed it, a big oak. This is on a working hay farm, so depending on when you arrive you might be able to see hay being harvested. Again, this a newer campsite so improvements will be made based on demand.
To enter the property, you will use a field entrance right off Harrington Hill Road (coming from the west it will be on your left-hand side). We have the way marked for you with posts/markers so hopefully it will take you right there. Please be aware this is located on top of a hill (with a big oak, hence its name :)) and you will be going through an active hay field to reach it.

We offer primitive camping along with equestrian primitive camping. We have a dedication to preserving natural habitat, as well as the cooperative efforts of people with diverse interests in the outdoors to provide a positive recreational experience for all of our visitors.
The Nason Trust is located by a significant amount of trail systems that traverses gorgeous, rocky, stream-filled trails that pass by remnants of Kellettville's boomtown. While guests get to enjoy the geology, elevation changes, with dramatic views while enjoying their favorite outdoor activities.
Campers will have access to the North Country National Scenic Trail that is the longest in the national trail system it spans across 8 states from North Dakota to Vermont covering 4,800 miles.
Minister Creek Trail is a short drive away. It's a moderately challenging hike that passes several outstanding rock outcroppings. After your hike you can drop by frog rock the local's favorite swimming hole that's along the same short drive back from Minister Creek trail back to the Nason Trust.
Tionesta Creek and Salmon Creek are well stocked to lure in any avid fishermen. Along with another local gem; Ross Run's Habitat Improvement area it's a half mile set aside for Children 15 and under and people with Special needs giving them their very own special stocked fishing area.

We are Marty and Deborah. Welcome to our 40 hidden acres of paradise where we are surrounded by wildlife and raise much of our food including beef, pork, chickens and a productive garden. We have multiple campsites here from wooded to open field or by the pond so come and pick one that suits you best.
We are adjacent to the Kennerdell Tract Of Clear Creek State Forest which has miles of hiking and biking trails as well as the Allegheny River which provides fishing, boating, kayak/ canoeing opportunities. There is also The Allegheny River Trail which provides miles of paved bike trails.
What we offer: We are not a campground and do not offer multi-night stays
We are vandwellers when we are traveling. As such we understand the problems associated with finding a spot to overnight.
We offer just that, a safe, quiet stop over for the night. That being said, if you need an extra day feel free to ask, we often say yes.
We enjoy our quiet country life and request limited use of generators, Thank You

Remote site close to everything lol. We loved how remote Dave's site was and how welcoming he was. Like meeting a friend.
We were able to get to store to replace our broken brake controller so we could make it back down the big hill on way out with old and heavy camper. We also got to fish in a beautiful park on way back from town and yet be in such a remote area to spend the weekend. We could hear turkey, owls and see a bunch of deer while sitting around the camp. We heard nothing much else...it was so relaxing and peaceful. We got to be only ones on grounds as first visitors for the year and 140 all to ourselves! Was worth every penny. Beats a sardines campground any day of the week for sure. He has a beautiful thing and so glad he shared with everyone. We needed it. We just got married and he got diagnosed with dementia so it's been a hard hit. We have both been struggling and needed a weekend to reconnect and learn how to refocus for us. We did ..thanks for having the space we needed away from our normal to do that.
Love the outhouse....best one I've been in. It has everthing.. well, almost everything...but it is fantastic! Go visit Leave him a note inside it.

The area was very quiet and spooky, was fun to camp at. The area was very flat, so its good for RV camping, not so much for tent camping though due to the fact that the majority of the camping area is on a overgrown asphault surface.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Conneauttee Valley Getaway. Quiet, peaceful, and even had full hookups. The view of the lake is great, and sleeping under the Hemlock trees is cozy. Jared was a great host and would absolutely stay here again.

We loved tent camping at the Presidential Getaway! We were welcomed with a fire ring full of kindling and plenty of dry wood to burn ❤️ the site is flat and perfect for camping with grassy areas to setup and a gravel driveway for campers. Since we were camping in the early spring, the foliage wasn't completely filled in so you could see through the trees to the road but it still felt very private and isolated. We saw a horse and buggy which was a treat for me and the dogs! The stars were out in their full glory and listening to all of the night time nature sounds was so peaceful. We will definitely be back again and thank you for sharing this lovely space with us!

This was our second time tent camping at Mary's Meadow. It feels like a secret little spot in the middle of nowhere. It's quiet (almost too quiet!) and extremely private. You have your own porta potty and enough space for multiple tents. It's also extremely close to town where there's a convenient little store/bar that is great for a creekside refreshment. We also spent time at the Erie National wildlife reserve which was only about 25 minutes away. We absolutely love it here and will be back!
