You will appreciate the peace and quiet of this little cottage on Rock Creek, situated on 11 acres of forest in Williams Oregon. The only sounds you'll hear are the birds in the trees and the flowing creek water. Enjoy sitting on the deck overlooking the confluence of Rock Creek and East Fork Williams Creek. A bridge crosses Rock Creek and there is a hiking trail beyond. Our garden hot tub is a welcome place to soak and enjoy the stars at night. Its an older tub but still keeps the water at 102 degrees. Our cabin has a kitchenette with a small fridge, sink, 2-burner gas stovetop, microwave, teapot, toaster, and 2-cup coffee maker, plus a few dishes, cutlery, and pots and pans - enough for simple meal preparation. Coffee, tea, sugar, and creamer are provided along with a dozen fresh eggs from our chickens. The cabin has a small woodstove as its only heat source. A little wood can be provided, and we provide newspaper, matches, and fire starters. There is an abundance of kindling around the property - great for getting a fire going. The stove holds 18" x 4" split logs, if you have some to bring. There are two smaller stuffed chairs, and two bar stools at a small bar-height table with views of the creek. The bathroom has a shower and vanity sink, and towels and toiletries are provided. There is hot and cold running water, although the 3-gallon hot water heater limits showers to less than 5 minutes. A camp portable toilet is provided upon request. Nice sturdy steps lead up to the loft upstairs which has an 8" full-sized (wider than a twin but narrower than a queen) memory foam mattress with fresh linens. The loft is low and cozy which allows the camper to sit up on the bed but not stand up. A compost toilet is about 100 yards away, and has electricity. Bring your flashlights to find the compost toilet as well as the hot tub as the property is very dark. Cell service is okay depending on your server, and WiFi is available. The password is listed in the binder on the hutch. Some games and puzzles are provided.

This park gets its rather self-descriptive name from the six beautiful rivers that flow through its borders, but don’t the name fool you. There is a lot more than just rivers to check out here. More than a million rambling acres of forest take you through foggy and mystical redwood landscapes. Further inland, miles of towering Douglas firs, glacial peaks, and hidden pools just wait to be discovered. Of course, the rivers are the main attraction. You can’t go two feet without tripping over a perfect swimming hole. After your dip, there are plenty of warm rocks to lay out on. Oh, and if the natural beauty doesn’t get you: this was the place where they first spotted Bigfoot. Yeah, the original footage that basically made everyone believe in the hairy bi-ped. That, on its own, is reason enough to check it out

Located around 2,800 feet in the Siskiyou mountain range. The region was initially inhabited by the Dakubetede Native American tribe. Post colonization … some parts of the land were logged and grazed by cattle. Trillium is a wilderness community and retreat center tucked into a vast valley of the Siskiyou Mountains of Southern Oregon. We cannot have open fires and don't allow smoking on the property. We prefer not to have dogs. There is no cell service at Trillium. Internet is available on the south end of the property. This is an active retreat property, so there may be groups or other individuals there as well. If you are interested in hosting an event at Trillium, let us know! Ruch is our closest town. It has a bar, hardware store, grocery and other basic necessities. Jacksonville is a cute rustic town with a number of eating and shopping possibilities. Medford, about 10 minutes further has the big box stores and more diverse food options. Ashland is an artistic and creative town worth visiting. There are always lots of events. Jane's Orchard Cottage was the perfect space for two old friends to "meet in the middle" with a dog. Plenty of space to relax inside, lots of comfortable sleeping spaces and a fully equipped kitchen for cooking our meals. The expansive grounds are beautiful and we felt welcomed to explore and walk my dog (on leash) to a pond, platform over a stream, through the forest and into the orchards. We saw a wild turkey, a great blue heron and we even found forest orchids!

1 night at Steelhead Camp on the Chetco River

We usually camp off grid so knew exactly what to expect when booking this listing. We brought our own power, lights and toilet setup and had no issues. The drive in was so cool - we saw elk and turkeys and it was absolutely beautiful. Jess was super quick on communicating and the booking was easy and went smoothly. We were pleasantly surprised that despite not having power, there were lights available so all we had to do was bring in our power bank! The fireplace was AWESOME - put out great heat and easy to build/manage a fire. I wish you could see the river from the deck - but it was neat to walk down to the confluence of the river and the dry creek that backs up to state land. One thing to note - if you are not booking both sites - the tent/car camp site is on a bluff just above the A-Frame, so you could have someone right above you. We didn't but noticed that on our drive down to the cabin.

This cozy little hobbit house was a perfect secluded getaway! Karen and the chickens gave a perfect tour so I could find the firewood, hiking trails, compost toilet, and hot tub. Then I had three days listening to the creek, making fires in the stove because mornings were chilly, staying cozy in the freshly painted and updated space where I could be warm and watch the creeks come together. The trillium were out making the forest extra magical.

Friendly Hosts who greeted me even when I arrived a little late. Bathrooms were clean and showers were warm. Cabin 1 could hold 4 though I came solo. Heater in the cabin kept the place warm. It was nice having a roof over my head given it was storming outside.

What a beautiful and cozy spot!! Kit was very accommodating and friendly. The cabin was warm, the fire pit was perfect. I was just bummed the outside bathtub wasn't functional at that time, but all in all a great spot and I highly recommend.

It was a stormy, rainy couple of days in October, so I didn’t get to explore the property or surrounding area much, but that ended up being perfect since I had just come to relax anyway. Once I got set up inside (with some string lights, a hot water bottle, and a good book), it felt nice and cozy. I was glad to have brought the hot water bottle and a couple of extra blankets, b/c the temps inside were roughly the same as they were outside. The transparent panels make it feel like you’re sleeping among the trees, and the sound of rain on the roof was wonderful. The roof is corrugated steel, so the first time an acorn pinged off it I just about jumped out of my skin, but we got used to it quickly. Ultimately I think those noises were part of the charm. Saw some beautiful deer and lots of wild turkeys. As a woman camping solo, I felt very safe. The property isn’t completely remote (it’s tucked next to a neighborhood and there’s a private residence onsite) but it still has a peaceful, wilderness feel, especially in late October when there were fewer visitors. For anyone curious (since I couldn’t find this info beforehand), each A-frame has its own fire ring and picnic table. Thank you for the great weekend!

I love this place. I’ll stay here any chance I get. It’s lovely. Spacious camp sites. Hot tea and coffee area. The river. The outdoor showers. And the A frames are so cool! But I recommend arriving in the daylight if it’s your first time. I came after dark and I’m pretty sure I would have been lost if I didn’t already know my way around. It’s not well lit at night. Makes for good sleep— but def bring a head lamp.

4 nights at Rogue River Glamping

Let me start off by saying we loved our stay! It was peaceful and quiet, warm and cozy, and we had everything we needed. Our hosts had thought of so many details that made our stay such a pleasant experience and what we were hoping for. Fire pit with some wood, hotwater for awesome outdoor shower,coffee and basic kitchen needs, but also wonderful little details like robes for the shower, a simple map of the two trails we could walk and ice in the ice chest. Great hosts. Power went out once and they promptly got it fixed. Our only struggle was that it rained while we were there and we didn't get to spend as much time outside as we were hoping. The kitchen table didn't have a cover over it and so we couldn't use it while raining, (bringing a canopy for the rain would have been nice.) But we still had a nice dry and warm time in the cabin area. Excellent stay, will stay here again!

We had a fantastic time! We went in October and the weather was cold and rainy. However, everything was so comfy and cozy. The blankets they provide for the A-frame cabins were more than enough to keep us warm all night. The amenities are great: full on kitchen with all you need to make meals, the tea house was well stocked, the bathrooms did not smell and were fairly clean, the showers had hot water, the sauna was amazing. We really want to come back during the summer and enjoy the river and sleeping with the A-frame open. A wonderful and stellar experience.

This is an incredibly beautiful space to spend time in nature. The outdoor showers make it very easy to be in the river or sun all day and still feel clean. The mattress pads for the A-frames were a little stiff (even for someone who likes a firm mattress) so a camping pad would work well for extra comfort. Over all an incredible stay.

The A frame cabin was cozy and comfortable. Very quiet at night. We enjoyed the outdoor showers, use of the community kitchen, the tea house, and seeing animals (not just the cats on the property, but also wild turkeys and deer).

What a beautiful private location. If you have dogs and don’t want to leash them this is the perfect spot. It’s a cute little romantic cabin with a view of the river. The pellet stove was perfect for the crisp fall mornings and the hammock and lounge chairs were a nice surprise to enjoy the afternoons. We had everything we needed and the outdoor shower was a wonderful experience. I’d love to come back another weekend to this amazing place.
