It has full hookups with either 30 amp or 50-amp power. You are only 2 miles from shopping and only miles from Lackamas Lake and Battleground Lake for hiking, swimming, biking, boating and fishing. Down the road about 1/4 mile is Velvet Acres barn where you can buy fresh produce in July, August and September, then in October it's a Pumpkin Patch. Be sure while you’re here you visit Vancouvers waterfront downtown. Great shops and excellent places to eat. On weekends there’s a large farmers market that has all kinds of fresh produce. While here be sure to drive out to the gorge, it is one of the more breathtaking sites in the NW. We are 10 miles from the Columbia River and 36 miles from Multnomah Falls. On a nice day you can drive to the beach to cool off, it's about 90 miles to Longbeach. Being in the wetlands we have a lot of trees for privacy. The RV area is at the end of an area that is gated for security. There is a grassy area outside your door and a grassy area out back of your RV. We have trails you are welcome to use. You will see bunnies and all kinds of birds as well as deer that visit now and then. Although they have built homes on the west side the fence and trees give plenty of privacy. They recently started a home that should be done within a month. Contact me for updates. Of course, there are also curious Raccoons and Possums about. A canyon running the north of the property in known for its wildlife population including bear, deer and elk. Wherever you camp, you may hear someone moving through the forest at night. Although we are a short 30-minutes to Portland, our private farm is free from unwanted lights and traffic (save the intermittent air traffic), when the skies are clear, starwatchers who bring their telescopes have many vantage points from which they can indulge their hobby! Our wide-open field is great for kite flying, frisbee, doggie frolics, and it's also a great place to practice your drone piloting skills. Mid-July through early October you have access to pick as many blackberries as you want and they are delicious. Cold Springs Farm is also a sanctuary. Our current residents include our Kunekune Pigs: Chris P Bacon, Wilbur, Piggit, Hamish McBiscuit and Rowdy. The resident goats include Dolly, Freddy McNubbins, Princess Daisy, Mikey, Mildred, Marvin, Daphne, Booger, Cyra-Nose, and Delilah our big, gentle goat. Weekend Trip to Mt Hood Camp Spot

Burke and Shannon are fantastic and friendly hosts, who live in an absolutely stunning location. This area is amazing in its beauty and outdoor activities, and they know some good spots to check out (thanks for the Salmon River trail tip!!). The RV spot was easy to back into, spacious, and had water/power in a convenient location. I will definitely be checking in the future to see if they are available when I’m in the area twice each year!

We shared the facilities with the camp but that resulted in spotless clean, well appointed and well taken care of bathrooms. All in all a very good experience.

Luxurious platform canvas wall tents feature wireless phone chargers, high thread count sheets, and boot dryers.

Weekend Trip to Ellen's Time Out

What an amazing find. Dave was so accommodating in the space is great, especially if you have dogs. It’s basically his very big backyard completely fenced in. Convenient to Portland, convenient to mount Hood. Made some new friends with a couple who was camping there when we got there. Dave even filled my water tanks before I left.

We had an amazing stay! The yurt was perfect and had all the amenities we needed, plus a super comfy king sized bed! The hosts were very kind and helpful. And the sauna and hot tub were the cherries on top! Would definitely come back :)

Weekend Trip to Mt Hood Vanlife Oasis w/ Coworking!

Camp Cedar Creek is a gem. It's just off 26, and super convenient to lots of hiking and amenities but it feels nice and remote. I van camped with my partner, and having the Blue Barn with a fully stocked kitchen, hang out zone, ping pong table, and clean showers and bathrooms was super handy. We loved walking down to the creek and hiking around the trails, and Jeremy and Lauren (and Juno!) were very welcoming.
