There is now diverse plant life on-site which attracts diverse wildlife including insects, birds and reptile. Your stay here helps us to pay the bills and keep making this small patch of earth better. The property is on a sunny bench not far from the ocean and usually above the fog line. Our location gets ample sunshine most days and is surrounded on 3 sides by a forest of trees. The property is fenced and access is by gate. There are two seperate campsites which are separated by our central garden and bamboo plantings. There is very little street traffic before 9 AM and after 4 PM Mon-Sat. Sundays are quiet. Both sites can use the portable toilet and outdoor shower. We keep it clean and odor free for a sanitary camping experience. Bring your bikes, boards and outdoor gear! Many adventures to be had here on the central coast. Your hosts are avid surfers and cyclists and can help direct you to the best spots to match your skill level. The property is close to town as well as bike loops, gravel roads and trails. We're also close to the beach. Within a short drive surfers of all levels can find something fun to ride nearly everyday of summer and fall. The 18 hole golf course is just down the street from the property and the town of Waldport is 2 miles away. Yachats is a short 12 minute drive to the south where you can find amazing restaurants where they serve fresh roasted coffee along with a large menu of drinks and treats at places such as The Green Salmon Cafe. White sand beaches are located just down the hill from us where you can walk all the way from the mouth of the Alsea river to the mouth of the Yachats river. Forested and easily accessible walking trails are also nearby. South of the property is Cape Perpetua - a natural wonderland with whales, tide pools, blowholes and a 26 mile trail system. My daughter and I had a lovely stay at this amazing property in the Witches Cabin. My daughter and I explored around the property and we had the best time. Dionne is a amazing host that helped us find the location and also came out to make sure we were all good at our campsite later on in the night. I recommend going to this hipcamp any time!

We had the best time in the forager site! The room was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed. We had a big storm come through the night of our stay and the hosts were super hospitable and brought us a backup power bank. The heater blankets on the bed were a great touch too! We will certainly be back!

Such a beautiful piece of land right next to the Trask river. The cabin was warm and cozy when we arrived, and Carmen was so kind to leave firewood for us in the campfire! We had a wonderful time here, and are leaving full of gratitude for the hosts, the cabin, and the land itself.

Carly’s property and yurt made for a perfect weekend getaway! Though just minutes from downtown, it was quiet, private, peaceful, and secluded. The space had everything we needed, including a functional toilet and shower. Along with the cozy vibe of the yurt, there were plenty of options for hiking trails and close to a vineyard for wine tasting. I highly recommend this property for a nice, cozy getaway.

Weekend Trip to The Vintages Trailer Resort

Such an easy drive from the Portland area, and a romantic atmosphere with the way it’s lit up, and the fire pits. The bikes at each site are a nice touch, and the pass they give you to get discounts at nearby vineyards. Some tips if it’s your first time - consider bringing mainly microwaveable food as that was the only means of cooking inside our RV. The grill outside wasn’t covered and we would have gotten wet if it were raining. It was very private inside the RV but the site outside isn’t very private. It’s pleasant and has comfy chairs, though, and people give a friendly wave as they walk by. Also it’s very close to town so maybe treat yourself to a meal out while you’re there. :-) I would recommend this as a low-key, easy weekend getaway.
