The camp spot is a very private grassy nook nestled next to Honey Grove Creek. There are nature trails on the property with blackberry bushes. Enjoy the calm, quiet serenity of the South Santiam River. Get back to the basics here and just relax and enjoy nature. We have a small cabin with a bunk bed, and a camping toilet is provided. Bring your tent or camper for extra room. Our campsite is nestled among the trees next to the river. There's lots to enjoy. Do you like hiking? Silver Falls State Park is only 36 miles away. Boating? You can put in your kayak/canoe at Gills Landing in Lebanon and float down the river back to the campsite. Fishing? Bring your fishing pole and try catch and release in our pond. Swimming? Take a swim in the cool water. Of course, you can just relax by the water's edge and enjoy the tranquility provided by the soothing flow of the river. This 192 sq. ft. cabin is very basic. There is no shower, but there is a portable toilet with a wash station located outside. We do provide a full 5-gallon water cooler for drinking since there is no running water. For cooking there is a 24" Blackstone 2-burner griddle, and small propane cans are provided. Also, the cabin is furnished with a small supply of pots and pans. There is a battery that provides lighting, and phone charging is available in the cabin. During the cooler months, there is a small wood stove for heating, and firewood is provided. The cabin sleeps 2, but there is room for a camper and/or tents. This campsite is meant to be very simple, so you should plan on bringing whatever you may need/want for camping.

Fantastic! We booked last minute and arrived after dark. We had such a comfortable stay, and were in awe of the creek right behind us in the morning light. The bed is incredibly comfy, and we were perfectly comfortable. This place is moments from mine and my kid's favorite place to go catch crawdads. I would absolutely book again.

The cabin and surrounding property was so wonderful. Close to town yet it felt like we were far far away. And it all to ourseleves! So many thoughtful amenities such as towels, tea and a tea pot, cooking oil and spices. Books and board games. It was clean and welcoming. The water felt great and was ready for us to spend all day down at the waters edge. Definitely will be back and would recommend this to anyone wanting a special getaway. Thank you!

Pulling up I was a bit hesitant about the area, but we found I nice little spot,(I’m sure if there were more people coming to camp they would have got our spot which to me was the best for tent camping, we had the whole place to ourselves. First day walked to the falls & pick our spot in this secluded little sand beach with a level place to walk out to the deepest part of the river, we took our inner tubes & my daughter tooled around rock hunting. We enjoyed our stay until it started raining, we tried to out stay the rain but that wasn’t happening so we packed up. The compost toilet was a new thing for us & wasn’t too bad, better than just a hole in the ground where flys & bees buz around. My only complaint was I think it should have been dumped the next day. We enjoyed our stay & found out we do pretty good when off the grid (no water, phone service, or shower

Very peaceful and quiet. The cabin was clean and came with everything we needed to make our stay cozy including coffee and tea. Our dog loved being able to be off leash so he could wander around. We had a great time splashing around in the pond and river and found a crawdad. The one thing I would maybe change is that I wish the cabin had blinds or curtains so we could have slept a little longer.

Our stay at Jeremy and Dana’s place was outstanding! The yurt was super cute and clean, very comfortable bed, and nice deck. The property, the views, and the peacefulness were even better! We walked to the river, enjoyed the sound of the creek behind the yurt, had fires in the fire pit and absolutely loved our stay. Will definitely be back!
