2 nights at Santiam Serenity

This is a great site! This was our second time camping here in less than a month. We didn’t use the cabin due to having our trailer but looks really cozy inside! The water access and large field for our dogs is perfect. The host is very responsive and accommodating. We will be back!

We were In immediate need of a campsite, we're so happy we found Drus spot. It was absolutely perfect for a quick overnight camp. The spot was at the end of hosts driveway but was still private. WE FEEL BAD THAT WE HAVE TO LEAVE OUR TRASH BAG :( we wanted to leave the site exactly as it was when we arrived but my car was so full we literally had no room for anything and we ran out of wood so we couldn't burn it. VERY VERY SORRY. But it was definitely a enjoyable spot for short term camping.

Have stayed here twice now and it's an amazing spot, whether you're tent camping in the orchard or staying in a camper van in the parking lot next to it.

1 night at Fernwood Retreat At Bloom Hill

I had a wonderful nights stay at this site. I had the place to myself on a Sunday evening and put my tent up under the trees. I walked around the property and enjoyed the sounds of roosters and cows, and loved the fields and open spaces. The property has a nearby bathroom within short walking distance, with a toilet and running water. The evening time was very quiet and I slept great. Petra came down in the morning to say goodbye to me and I told her how much I had enjoyed staying. She is a very nice person and is so lucky to have a great piece of property to share with others. I spent the day hiking up Mary's Peak, which was lovely. I will definitely be back to stay again when I have more hills to climb in that area. Thank you Petra!

This is a doorway into life at a manageable pace. Morning light, day's heat, evening's coolness, trails to walk, to run, to sit and watch turkeys, hawks, vultures, songbirds, lizards, deer. A pioneer cemetery nextdoor beckoned me to read the stories of those who came before. The kindness of Jered & Stefane has created a space outside of time... a place to just be... a place to feel safe to just be. To watch light paint the day, and the night is a special kind of gift. Jered & Stefane have built that space. Respect it. Enjoy it. Repeat.

Mike and Stephany were fantastic hosts! A great property and even greater service. They were very prompt in responding to our needs, and exceeded our expectations. We are very grateful for their hospitality, and highly recommend them. Should we get back that way, we'll be sure to look them up!

The town of Harrisburg is such a cool, easy-going, quaint place to spend some time. Accessibility is one of its' key assets. Personally, I prefer the bank overlooking the stream. Cool your feet on a hot summer day in Rock Creek (the main attraction). Enjoy the evenings around the fire pit for an extra $10/day which includes the firewood. There are complimentary tables, BBQ, chairs. Did you know the coolest porta-party in the galaxy awaits your visit? Yep, true. Attractions: Spirit Mountain Casino is only 4 miles away, The Oregon coast is a 25 minute drive as well as plenty of vineyards. Also enjoy 100+ miles of hiking trails. The trail head is only 1 mile from camp. I'm available to answer any questions you have and look forward to your visit. We ask if the ground is wet (rain for 24+ hrs) you keep your car on the gravel driveway and not drive in the grass (causing ruts). Don't be a turd. Respect the Hideout. We put in campsites, a cabin, a barn loft, and a fire pit. We offer these to guests when not being used by our family and friends. Wildlife includes deer, turkey, and quail & 3 active beehives. Guests are welcome to fresh eggs from the chicken coop. We are fully fenced and gated for your family and pets protection. South Santiam River is less than 1 mile for fishing, kayaking, or rafting. Foster reservoir is 30 minutes away and Green Peter Reservoir is 45 minutes away for boating, swimming, and fishing. There is a loop exercise trail that circles the property and offers 30-degree climbs. You can also play games inside or basketball outside. We thought it would be great to have family gatherings and get togethers here and think of this as our slice of heaven, and hope others enjoy it as well.

Fern Ridge Lake is 10 minutes down the road for walking trails, boating and paddling, plenty of other outdoor activities nearby. Eugene is 25 min, and the beautiful Oregon coast is 45 min drive if you want to smell the ocean air and visit Florence.

It's attached to our home and rustic (some love it, others skip it - or wish they’d brought a bathing suit.) • Guided check-in required between 4–7 PM. No arrivals after 8 PM • All communication via Hipcamp messages - no text messages • One check-in per group. If arriving in two vehicles, coordinate timing or walk your party in You’ll park near our greenhouse and home, where you may see chickens, a kiddo on the play structure, or hear a tractor. Campsites are deeper in the woods and often feel totally private. A seasonal creek flows nearby. Depending on the time of year, you might spot wild mushrooms, huckleberries, and more. The beach is about a 15-minute walk, including a short stretch along Highway 101. It’s walkable but may feel exposed to some. Yachats, the 804 Trail, and Cape Perpetua are all nearby. This land once held a WWI-era spruce logging camp. We’ve lived here since 2013, slowly transforming bramble into trails, gardens, and space to grow. Our son is a cancer survivor, and our connection to this land runs deep. We’re not a commercial farm - we’re a family practicing stewardship, slow living, and welcoming guests who do the same. We love hosting quiet campers, nature lovers, foragers, backwoods hikers, and families who understand personal space and come prepared. If that’s you, you’ll feel right at home.

Santiam Serenity

Enjoy the calm, quiet serenity of the South Santiam River. Get back to the basics here and just relax and enjoy nature. We have a small cabin with a bunk bed, and a camping toilet is provided. Bring your tent or camper for extra room. Our campsite is nestled among the trees next to the river. There's lots to enjoy. Do you like hiking? Silver Falls State Park is only 36 miles away. Boating? You can put in your kayak/canoe at Gills Landing in Lebanon and float down the river back to the campsite. Fishing? Bring your fishing pole and try catch and release in our pond. Swimming? Take a swim in the cool water. Of course, you can just relax by the water's edge and enjoy the tranquility provided by the soothing flow of the river. This 192 sq. ft. cabin is very basic. There is no shower, but there is a portable toilet with a wash station located outside. We do provide a full 5-gallon water cooler for drinking since there is no running water. For cooking there is a 24" Blackstone 2-burner griddle, and small propane cans are provided. Also, the cabin is furnished with a small supply of pots and pans. There is a battery that provides lighting, and phone charging is available in the cabin. During the cooler months, there is a small wood stove for heating, and firewood is provided. The cabin sleeps 2, but there is room for a camper and/or tents. This campsite is meant to be very simple, so you should plan on bringing whatever you may need/want for camping.

Welcome to Fernwood Retreat at Bloom Hill! Tucked away in the rolling hills of the coastal mountains, we call it Fernwood because of the beautiful ferns and forest area throughout our 6-acre farmstead. We currently offer three sites that are private and secluded. We are off the beaten path with no road traffic or light pollution which makes the night sky and stars so vibrant it looks like you could reach out your hand and touch them. Wake up in the morning, make some coffee, and stroll the walking paths along the property. You can sit creekside & soak in the sounds of the birds chirping, the squirrels chattering or the water flowing. We offer a meditation area, a communal fire pit, lighted paths, a large swing, farm fresh eggs (supply permitting), and a fenced wetland area with a pond and plenty of wildlife! We are situated in the beautiful Southern Willamette Valley and close to many award-winning wineries like Bluebird Hills Cellars and Broadley Vineyards, breweries like Long Timber Brewing Company, and the classic Benny's Pizza. We're surrounded by hiking and biking trails, waterfalls, and all only an hour away from the Pacific Ocean. William L. Finely Wildlife Preserve is just a few miles up the road as is the historic Hull-Oakes Lumber Mill. Our neighbor is Lainey Morse founder of Original Goat Yoga!! We provide a port-o-potty, potable well water and each site has a picnic table. NOTE: Fires are only permitted at the communal fire pit not at the individual sites.
