The host are some of the most welcoming people and truly make you feel like family. They did not hesitate to invite me over to their campfire where we talked for hours. The sites were clean and well maintained. Additionally the bathrooms were spotless, and the showers had hot and cold water. The site is also great for those wanting to explore the outdoors as it is in close proximity to the redwood national and state parks.

Lara was the perfect host! Easy to communicate with. She met us at the gate to escort us to our spot. Lane Creek Reserve is a wonderful, picturesque, pastoral oasis. It’s a working farm where you see the animals grazing in the lush green fields. The camping sites vary from glamping tents to level travel trailer sites. The location is wonderful. There is fishing, kayaking, and golf close by. Oh , there is tasty organic jams, honey, fresh eggs, and meats at the farm stand. We will definitely be back!!

I loved the tent camping here. It was peaceful especially listening to the river. Bathroom was clean. Was able to find it easily.. Dollar general not far down the road as well as food trucks and drinks.

My Girlfriend and I had an amazing couple of nights here! The camp site is pretty and has great shade available. There are some amazing hikes nearby and having a fully fenced area for our dog to explore was a huge boone. We definitely plan to visit again if we are ever in the area with dogs!

Beautiful place, would stay here again. Loved the secludedness of it so we could actually enjoy the nature. Having a private swimming hole was also really fun. Clean and spacious.

Patrick was wonderful! Very helpful and kind. I stayed in tent site #16 and it was beautiful, lots of shade. The site had clean restrooms with showers that had hot water (crucial when camping in colder weather) and had a station for washing dishes and doing laundry. There was also a game room which I played pool and ping pong. It is a beautiful site with Trees of mystery near by. Definitely planning on going back soon. Also you could buy ice and firewood from Patrick! Which saves time (:

We had an amazing time at site #22. It was secluded, beautiful, and well kept. I booked it truly last minute as our prior plans fell through, and were actually happy they did. The location was fantastic, very close to Jedediah. The owners were personable, kind and knowledgeable as well; we will definitely be back!

A totally unique and beautiful space. The view is amazing and the solarium is very peaceful, with a fountain burbling and frogs croaking. Looks like they're still rebuilding from the last wildfire, so some broken windows and roof panels but none in the sleeping area. The drive up is daunting without a truck or SUV.

Weekend Trip to Mystic Forest Campground

Second time there and definitely going back. Very nice site #21, plenty of space can probably fit 3 or 4 tents away from the fire ring. Plenty of privacy, we had another site nearby but lots of brush around the site, never saw them. A bit of a walk if you go to the restroom during the night, but wasn't a problem for us. WiFi around the game room is a nice plus, and hot water showers and laundry are great. The only thing to watch out for is the last 10 feet to the site are pretty narrow, so keep an eye on your car size, but I was able to do a U-Turn with my 16ft Outback.

Site #22 is nice and private. Roomy too! A bit of a walk from the bathroom, though. The camp host family is so incredibly friendly and the whole campground is clean and safe!

Our short time at this campsite was great. The sound of the river was nice to wake up to. The home residence in all is a slice of heaven. Deer out your window when you wake up. I thought it was almost perfect. The “we are watching” sign almost next to the outdoor shower made me nervous. It’s like you’re alone but being watched. I would totally go back. I’d just use my own shower.

Learn more about this land: Happy Bears Camp would really be suitable for those passing on I-5, who want a quiet place to park for the night. We are only one mile from I-5 (mile marker 80). Heading North on exit 80, there's a sharp 25 mph off-ramp on a downhill -Take it slow! There are lots of reservoirs, and a few rivers in the general area. The closest Reservoir is 12 miles away. Crater Lake is two hours away. The Pacific Ocean is 2 hours 15 minutes away. Closest river is less than a mile. You will cross it on the way here. There is lots of BLM land with dirt road access in the area. There is hunting in the area. The tiny town of Glendale is three miles away, (one route is safe for bicycles). There is a Grocery store, bank, laundry, three restaurants, two gas stations and a bakery. There are also two parks in town. One has a Frisbee golf course. Easy RV parking in town. On the way here, you will pass one of the restaurants and gas stations with a lot big enough to accommodate the largest RV. On the property: You may walk around. There aren't any trails and the undergrowth gets thick quickly under the trees. There is a fire break to walk, that circles the meadow. This will give you access to the trees. If you walk up the right side, our neighbor's dog will make a ruckus as you pass their house. Don't worry, just noise. At the top of the meadow, is a lovely view over this part of the valley.

Keep driving about another 1/8th mile until you see the large "Cornerstone Ranch" sign. That is our driveway. The large Yurt Tent about a 20 foot oval. It is part of the Cornerstone Ranch Hip Camp family of sites on the Ranch totaling 7. In a very quiet part of the campgrounds and having a picnic table under a large pine. We have added 2 twin memory foam mattresses and two camping mattresses in the Yurt along with a few other things to make your stay comfortable while still enjoying the Ranch, Coast and the Rogue River and all it has to offer. The ranch also offers 6 different campsites. Campfires are allowed (outside of burn bans), and there is a toilet on site as well. Reviews from guests: "During the night we could hear Elk and the nearby nature! When we woke up we got to visit with the horses, use the really clean port-potty, and chat with Bonnie the Host! Klamath’s best kept secret

We have been a family owned RV Park/Campground for over 40 years. This is a very rustic, old-fashioned campground located at the end of a neighborhood next to the river. We are adjacent to tribal lands. We are not responsible for their culture or their practices. FYI: this is part of the Northwest coastal Pacific rainforest. Emphasis on rainforest so before you book or before you’re coming, just check the weather. I would also like to say we are bee friendly. As mentioned this is also a RV Park so there will be RVs on site. It is an open field campground dispersed with trees. Neighbors will be present. We are located off the beaten path so we don’t have that many people here on the off-season. If you’d like to be in seclusion then this is the place for you . The river access is right over the levee just a few minutes walk from your campsite. Fishing on the river is allowed but you need a license. We are near the woods and river so wildlife is present. Please make sure your food is put away nightly to discourage critters from coming into camp. The campground is just a short drive from a selection of hiking or biking trails. As well as other attractions like the Jet Boat Tours and Trees of Mystery. Located at the end of a glen cell service in this area can be spotty or non existent depending on the carrier. Wifi is available we just upgraded to a WiFi that should reach most of the park. We welcome people of all seasons. Just ask that you are kind and respectful to each other. Well Behaved Pets Are Allowed. Children and Laughter are Always Welcome. We look forward to your visit. August and September there will be fisher persons in the campground. So be warned of early morning engine noise as they head out to the river for fishing. Electric cars that want to charge there is a $10 fee at time of service. Must make arrangements ahead of a time because 50 amp services are limited. Plus you need to bring your own adapters.

Sustainable Ecovillage is an off-grid project for sustainable living. If you are looking for a unique experience and up for rustic accommodations among goats, chickens, a permaculture food forest with a few off-grid perks, we welcome you to join us in our mountainous, wilderness paradise! Our 160-acre property is surrounded by about a million acres of National Forest. Our neighborhood is all made of trees, huckleberry bushes and animals. We love it here. It is very remote, peaceful, and functionally sustainable in its focus. The closest neighbor is a Buddhist Hermitage about a mile up the forestry road. Also, supposedly, Sasquatch live here! (it is the epicenter for documented sightings). Most visitors to the area are interested in spending time in the redwoods – we are about 30-45 minutes from the nearest entrance to Jedediah Smith Park, home of Stout Grove and other beautiful redwood hikes. Driving into Crescent City, about 45-60 minutes, winds you right through the "gentle giants" on your way to or from Redwood National Park. We are self-sufficient, and sustainable in a relatively primitive set-up, especially after the fire this year. It's mountainous and remote, and we have a community agreement about no smoking (of any kind) on our land.

This space has a private, cozy feel to it. The tent consists of a queen-sized bed, memory foam mattress with luxury hotel quality linens, folding table and chairs, Yeti cooler stocked with ice, and outdoor lounge seating. The tent also comes equipped with the essentials such as, wool blankets, plush towels, LED lanterns, board games, his and her robes, folding table & chairs, shampoo, conditioner, soap, and firewood. The composting restroom has a toilet and motion sensor lighting. On the outside of the restroom is the sink with hot and cold running water. As you continue along the stone path to the outdoor shower, you'll find a rainfall shower head as well as all the products you need, not to mention the most incredible views of the river! Our outdoor cookshack comes with a grill, bar sink, trash, and basic cooking and eating utensils. This space also has views of the river and large FarmStyle table and chairs for dining. The site is equipped with motion sensor path lighting around the tent and also the along the path leading from the parking area to the tent. Everything is crafted for relaxation and quality time with your friends or loved one. Take a nap in a hammock, play Jenga on the deck, read a book, or take a hike. There is something here for everyone, any time of year. Guest access The entire property is for your use. The driveway is gated with use of a keypad for entry. Other things to note... Wildlife will often cross the property, mainly deer, turkey, and some elk. There is over 100 acres of BLM land adjoining our property on two sides with miles of trails to explore. Breathtaking river views abound. The tent faces west, making for a nightly sunset show from the tent and deck.

Clean filtered spring water. We have lots of fun activities for families. Our tipis are spaced respectfully apart from each other for privacy. All four tipis come equipped with at least one queen size bed, some have two, and three to four very comfortable couch beds, dishes, cups, silverware and pour over coffee maker and hot water kettle. Very comfortable bedding, sheets, blankets, towels, lights, pillows, wash cloths, robes, hand towels, toilet paper, blow dryer, vanity, portable DVD player, fan, heater, tv tray, luggage rack, fire extinguisher, carbon monoxide detecter, first aid kit, board games, cooler, propane fire pit inside the tipi and wood fire pit outside on your deck. There is a toilet for urine and foot pump sink inside the tipi and outside of the tipi there is a separate shower and toilet for everything else. The shower has instant hot water and lasts a long time for an amazing shower experience. Both shower and toilet are outdoors and on your deck but enclosed for privacy. Each deck has furniture, umbrellas with misting system, lights, and fire pits. You can see the outdoor movie screen from each tipi deck. We have a giant outdoor movie screen with epic sound system because hey, we don’t have any neighbors and we can have some fun for family reunions and parties, weddings or any other gatherings that mean something special to you. We also have an axe throwing station, hammocks, pickle ball court, basketball, trampoline, badminton, corn hole, garden, two ponds, one is a lily pond the other is very big and we have two pedal boats, a paddle board, floating island, float toys, and a floating deck and 155 acres of private hiking and mushroom foraging. This specific piece of land holds very special energy. Guests have plenty of activities, comfortable beds, lots of oxygen because we are tucked into a forest, and a peaceful off grid environment. You will also drink fresh spring water filtered through one of the finest filtration systems, The Berkey Filters. All of these factors contribute to very good sleep. Our guests biggest compliment is how well they sleep. We are also 15 minutes away from the Rogue River! We offer tours to the Redwoods, Oregon coast, Oregon caves, and a Rogue River scenic drive, The ghost town of Golden and the Wolf Creek tavern, which has been on the tv show Ghost Adventures. The cost of the tours depend on the cost of gas at the time of the tour. We have a fully loaded outdoor kitchen with hot running water, community mini fridge, induction cook tops, pots and pans, silverware, cups, dishes, coffee maker, popcorn maker, coffee grinder, spices and a spice rack, paella pans, pizza maker, bbqs both propane and charcoal, dish rack, cleaning supplies, mixing bowls, cutting boards, knives, and most cooking utensils that are used regularly. On Saturdays we set up a crafting table so kids and adults can paint, build, sculpt and create cool things to take home. We offer fresh eggs with advance notice and offer goodies from our garden and fruit trees when in season. We do not charge to use pedal boats, Pickleball, paddle boards or any other activities on the property. Yoga classes are donation based. We pick up from the Rogue Valley Medford International airport for a fee and welcome solo and world travelers. We are a dog friendly resort. If you have an aggressive dog you will be required to keep your dog on a leash. There is an additional fee for dogs. We have animals on the property including dogs, lots of birds including two handsome peacocks, deer, and squirrels. There could be cougars, wolves, foxes and bears in the surrounding forest area although we never see them and we do have a barrier.

Both are cute historic towns with great restaurants. I have provided a list of recommended restaurants and recreational places in the cabin. I can send it to you prior to arrival upon request. We are a two hour drive to the coast through the redwoods. We border Pacifica Gardens (pacificagarden.org) an incredible place to explore, hike or fish.
